Gynostemma pentaphyllum belonged to the Cucurbitaceae family.It was also called theQi-Ye-Dan,licorice stem,Gong-Luo Guo-Di,and etc.It contained saponin,flavonoids,polysaccharides,terpenoids and other chemical compositions.Its pharmacological effects included cholesterol-lowering activity,antitumor activity,hypoglycemic activity,anti-aging and boost immunity.This paper reviewed the research progress on chemical constituents,pharmacological effects and in vivometabolism of gynostemma pentaphyllum,in order to provide a theoretical basis for its further research and development.

Objective To investigate the differential expression profiles of microRNAs in the liver of 60Co γ-ray irradiated mice using microRNA microarray and to explore their main functions by bioinformatic analysis.Methods After SPF C57BL/6J mice expose to 4 Gy-single whole body radiation,total number of peripheral WBC and the fMNPCE were measured at 3 d.The differentially expressed miRNAs in mouse liver were detected with miRNA microarray,miRNA-124 and miR-34a were confirmed by real time RT-PCR assay.Bioinformatic analysis was applied to explore target genes and the main functions of the differential expressed miRNAs.Results Compared with control group,the total number of peripheral WBC decreased( t = 2.87,P ＜ 0.05 ) ,while the fMNPCE in bone marrow increased ( t =-2.91,P ＜0.05) after 4 Gy γ-ray irradiation.miRNA microarray revealed that 17 miRNAs were differentially expressed,in which 9 up-regulated,8 down-regulated.The expression levels of miR-124 and miR-34a were coincident with the result of real time RT-PCR.GO analysis showed that some pathways including adherens junction and cell cycle were suppressed,while some immune-related pathways were activated.Conclusions miR-34a and miR-194 were involved in the regulation of acute radiation damage,some other miRNAs including miR-124、miR-382 and miR-92a* also played important roles in radiation process.

Objective To explore the mechanisms underlying supraliminal and subliminal N-back task in the children with symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).Methods Thirty-five ADHD children and thirty-three matched normal controls were enrolled.Working memory was measured with the different reaction time of N-back task.Results The error number of the subliminal 2-back task in ADHD group ((4.49± 1.20) times) was worse than that of the healthy controls ((3.79±-1.14) times), and the difference was significant(t=-2.459, P=0.017).In ADHD group,the error number of 1-back task and reaction time of 2-back task in subliminal task ((4.77±1.09) times, (1 447.49±271.35) ms) were worse than those of supraliminal task ((3.09± 1.63) times, (1 315.48±229.63) ms), and the difference was significant between the two tasks (t=4.755, P=0.000;t=-2.281, P=0.029).But there were no significant findings in healthy controls(P＞0.05).Conclusion The present study suggests that the working memory is impaired in ADHD children.

BackgroundAttitude towards suicide among adolescents is closely linked with their suicidal behavior. Previous studies on suicidal attitudes and related factors primarily focused on school samples， with limited research on relevant clinical samples of adolescents with depressive episode. ObjectiveTo analyze the attitudes towards suicidal behavior and the influencing factors in adolescent patients with depressive episode， so as to provide references for suicide intervention in this population. MethodsA total of 100 adolescent patients who met the diagnostic criteria for depressive episode according to the International Classification of Diseases， tenth edition （ICD-10） were selected from the outpatient and inpatient departments of the Fourth People's Hospital of Wuhu from May 2021 to July 2022. A self-designed general demographic questionnaire， Hamilton Depression Scale-17 item （HAMD-17）， Suicide Attitude Questionnaire （QSA）， Egma Minnen av Bardndosnauppforstran （EMBU） and Internet Addiction Test （IAT） were used to evaluate the patients' depressive symptoms， attitudes towards suicide， parenting styles and Internet addiction， respectively. Spearman and Pearson correlation analyses were used to examine the correlation between the factor scores of attitudes towards suicidal behavior in QSA and demographic characteristics， HAMD-17 score， EMBU score and IAT score. Multiple linear regression was conducted to screen the risk factors associated with attitudes towards suicidal behavior， and ROC curves were plotted to evaluate the predictive efficacy of each factor. ResultsThe scores on attitudes towards suicidal behavior in QSA among adolescent patients with depressive episode were positively correlated with scores on attitude towards the suicidal person， attitude towards euthanasia， as well as scores on mother's emotional warmth and understanding factor （r=0.210~0.485， P<0.05 or 0.01）. Conversely， they were negatively correlated with father's education level， suicidal behavior in the past 6 months， HAMD-17 score， IAT score， father's punishment and harshness， father's overinvolved， father's rejection and denial， father's overprotection， mother's overinvolved and overprotection， mother's rejection and denial， and mother's punishment and harshness factor scores （r=-0.571~-0.290， P<0.05 or 0.01）. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that QSA scores on attitude towards the suicidal person （β=0.198， P<0.01） and attitude towards euthanasia （β=0.302， P<0.01） positively predicted score on attitude towards suicidal behavior， and fathers' education level （β=-0.180， P=0.043）， HAMD-17 scores （β=-0.366， P<0.01） and IAT scores （β=-0.191， P=0.030） negatively predicted scores on attitude towards suicidal behavior. The differences in predictive efficacy between the factors were not statistically significant （Z=-1.289~0.092， P>0.05）. BackgroundRehabilitation for schizophrenia typically relies on pharmacological interventions， yet their efficacy in improving social function and quality of life remains limited. In recent years， non-pharmacological approaches have shown promise in enhancing rehabilitation outcomes. However， research on the effectiveness of psychomotor therapy specifically for young and middle-aged schizophrenic inpatients is limited. ObjectiveTo explore the effects of psychomotor therapy on the rehabilitation of young and middle-aged schizophrenic inpatients， and to provide a reference for treatment strategies. MethodsA total of 104 young and middle-aged schizophrenic inpatients who met the International Classification of Diseases，tenth edition （ICD-10） diagnostic criteria and hospitalized in the Fourth People's Hospital of Wuhu from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected. Patients were randomly divided into two groups of 52 each using random number table method. Both groups received treatment with risperidone tablets （2~4 mg/d） ， along with routine nursing care. Additionally， the research group received an extra 45~55 minutes of psychomotor therapy 2~3 times per week for 12 weeks. The control group received the same psychomotor therapy after the study. Positive and Negative Symptom Scale （PANSS）， Scales of Social-skills for Psychiatric Inpatient （SSPI） and Insight and Treatment Attitude Questionnaire （ITAQ） were used to assess the patients before the intervention and at 4^th， 8^th and 12^th week after the intervention. ResultsThe main effects of intervention at different time points for PANSS positive symptoms， negative symptoms and general psychopathology subscale scores， PANSS total score， SSPI score and ITAQ score were all statistically significant （F=33.989， 204.245， 82.817， 279.596， 26.144， 7.463， P<0.01）. Furthermore， statistically significant between-group differences were observed in PANSS negative symptoms and general psychopathology subscale scores， PANSS total score， SSPI score and ITAQ score （F=30.053， 5.306， 33.417， 33.013， 18.608， P<0.05 or 0.01）. Moreover， the interaction effect of time and group were statistically significant for PANSS positive symptoms， negative symptoms and general psychopathology subscale score， PANSS total score and SSPI score （F=3.472， 9.798， 3.843， 14.390， 20.661， P<0.05 or 0.01）. After 12 weeks of intervention， the research group exhibited statistically significantly lower PANSS total score and subscale scores compared with baseline （P<0.01）， while their SSPI total score was significantly higher than that of control group（P<0.01）. Additionally， compared with the control group， the research group had statistically significantly lower PANSS total score and subscale scores ， while their SSPI score was statistically significantly higher than those of control group（P<0.01）. ConclusionPsychomotor therapy may contribute to the improvement of the psychiatric symptoms and social function in young and middle-aged inpatients with schizophrenia， enhancing their rehabilitation outcomes. ［Funded by Health Commission Scientific Research Project of Wuhu （number， WHWJ2021y073）］
