Chinese Journal of Radiology 2011;45(12):1159-1161
ObjectiveTo evaluate the X-ray features of the patella sleeve fractures in children.MethodsThe X-ray findings of sleeve fractures were analyzed retrospectively in 11 children to assess the radiologic features. Results The main X-ray findings in children ( 11 cases ) included displacement of patellas ( 9 cases ),widened joint spaces ( 5 cases),separation of the patella fragment ( 11 cases ) and swelling of the knee( 11 cases). One boy with sleeve fracture of the inferior pole of the patella was missed because the shell-like avulsion fracture can not be detected till 15 days later.ConclusionThe patella sleeve fractures in children are uncommon. The radiologic features of the sleeve fractures need be well acquainted by clinicians to facilitate early diagnosis.

International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(1):92-95
Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) has multi-faceted advantages due to its non-ionization radiation, excellent tissue contrast, high spatial resolution and multi-dimensional imaging technique. It can clearly observe the pathological changes of deseases, and judge for the prognosis. With the development of MRI, MRI has become increasingly popular in the diagnosis of fetal malformation. In this paper, it is described the value of MRd in the diagnosis, management and prognosis of fetuses malformations, via the central nervous system, circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system, genitourinary system, musculoskeletal system, endocrine system, and so on.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2014;(2):142-143
[Objective] Have a research on therapeutic methods of phlegm syndrome of Li Ziyi in Qing dynasty, to sum up his therapeutic experience of such syndrome.[Methods]Analysis on the related states and cases on the base of researches on the contents of “Approaches of phlegmatic scrofula ”which was written by Mr. Li, elaborating his characteristics in treating such syndrome. [Results] Mr. Li considered that phlegm syndrome can be classified into milder phlegm and scrofula according to its level of the patient ’s condition and therapeutic effect. He also believed that several aspects should be taken into consideration through the therapeutic process:treat by internal combing with external treatment ,pay attention to seven emotions and smoothen the temper, emphasize nursing care and obey to the contraindication strictly. [Conclusion]There are features in Mr. Li ’s view on phlegm and his treating method of phlegm syndrome. His treating method has a good therapeutic effect and it is worth popularizing.

Objective To evaluate the image quality of dynamic three-dimensional contrast enhanced ultrasonography(3D-CEUS) in liver tumors. Methods Twenty-five patients were examed with 2D-CEUS and dynamic 3D-CEUS.Contrast-enhanced computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging(CECT/MRI) were performed early or late. Two readers reviewed the images of both modalities and graded the images according to diagnostic criteria as follows:tumor blood fusion in arterial phase(unclear-score 0,moderate-score 1,clear-score 2),tumor boundry and relationship with periphery tissues (unclear score 0,moderate-score 1,clear-score 2).The concordance between the two modalities for showing liver tumors was evaluated by Kappa test. Results Twenty-three of 25 danymic 3D-CEUS were displayed successfully versus total objects in CECT/ MRI.Among them, for showing blood fusion,16 lesions scored 2,7 lesions scored 1,2 lesions scored 0 in danymic 3D-CEUS,meanwhile 18 lesions scored 2,7 lesions scored 1,0 lesion scored 0 in CECT/MRI,the Kappa value was 0.65.For showing tumor boundry and relationship with peripherytissues,16 lesions scored 2,7 lesions scored 1,2 lesions scored 0 in danymic 3D-CEUS,meanwhile 21 lesions scored 2,4 lesions scored 1,0 lesion scored 0 in CECT/MRI,the Kappa value was 0.52.Conclusions Danymic 3D-CEUS was shown to be useful for displaying tumor blood fusion, boundry and relationship with periphery tissues in single liver tuomor, the concordance between dynamic CEUS and CECT/MRI for single liver tuomor was fair. For huge liver tumor and multi-tumors,3D-CEUS can not give overall information.

Objective To evaluate the value of ultrasonic elastography for diagnosis of chronic nonspecific low back pain. Methods From March to September, 2016, 32 patients diagnosed as chronic nonspecific low back pain and other 32 healthy people (controls) were measured lumbar erector spinae with ultrasonic elastography, and calculated Yang's modulus. The correlation between Yang's modulus and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) or Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score in the patients were investigated with Pearson's analysis. Re-sults There was no significant difference in Yang's modulus between bilateral lumbar erector spinae in both the patients and the controls (t<1.849, P>0.05), but it was more in the patients than in the controls (t=9.931, P<0.001). The Yang's modulus was positively correlated with VAS score in the patients (r=0.614, P<0.001), but not with the JOA score (r=-0.243, P=0.180). Conclusion Ultrasonic elastography can be applied to differentiate low back pain from the healthy, and measure the intensity of pain.

Chinese Journal of Trauma 2001;17(3):151-154
Objective To study the biocompatibility of bioactive glass ceramic (BGC) materials with bone marrow stromal cell (BMSc) and the osteogenic capability of BMSc using tissue-engineering methods. Methods The osteogenic potential in vitro of cultured BMSc in a conditional medium was examined by histochemistry stains technique. The BMSc was cultured in combination with BGC. The attaching and extending speed of the cells to the materials, the proliferation and alkaline phosphatase activity were tested. Then the composite was implanted into the skeletal muscle beds in rabbits. All implants were examined by gross observation and histological examination. Results The BMSc showed a similar property to those of osteoblasts. BMSc can attach to and extend on BGC materials. No inhibition to celluar proliferation and ALP activity were observed by the materials. New bone can be observed in the composites of the BMSc and BGC materials. Conclusions BMSc may provide a rich cellular resource in tissue-engineered bone formation. New bone tissue can be formed by tissue engineering methods.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(2):165-168
Based on the current shortage of genuine/false authentication and quality evaluation in the molecular identification, and the weak functional gene research in the establishment of two-dimensional molecular markering methods for Chinese materia medica, the authors proposed a new method, the bimolecular marking methods (BIMM) for Chinese materia medica, combining DNA marker and metabolomics marker, that could simultaneously research the species and quality differences at the molecular level at the present stage. The authors introduced the concept, principle, methods, and technical process of BIMM, and summarized the technical advantages in this paper. Meanwhile, the application of BIMM in the identification of multiple sources of Chinese materia medica, years-identification, different locations, elite germplasm research, discovery of new drugs resources, protection of new varieties was also discussed. As a supplement of two-dimensional molecular markering method for Chinese materia medica, BIMM would not only expand connotation of identification of Chinese materia medica but also provide another effective way for quality evaluating.
