Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;456(7):25-27
150 slides of vaginal sample of married women aged 16-49 years old at 8 village of Ha Tay province were investigated. In 51.6% of subjects, there is not pathological manifestation in 48.3% - inflammative damages, then 38.6% with chronical manifestation and 12.6% with acute PaP1 account for 62.6%, PaP2: 24.5% and PaP3: 0.13%. There is not any cancerous damage. Hygiene condition, obstetrical history and venerological diseases were factors related to inflammative state and cervix cell morphology change

2.Renal interstinal tissue lesion in glomerulopathy with primary nephrotic syndrome in adults patients
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;458(8):23-24
From 1996 to 2000, 73 samples of renal biopsy in patients >16 years old with glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome were study on light microscopy. Results: the rate of minimal change glomerulopathy was highest (72.6%), then was the rate of diffuse mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis (20.6%). The rates of focal segmental glomerulonephritis, membranous proliferative glomerulonephritis, and membranous glomerulonephritis in this study were lower than the other studies. The changes in minimal change glomerulopathy are glomerular basement membrane thickened irregularly, widening and effacement of the visceral epithelial cell foot processes

3.Anticancer effect of crocin
Journal of International Oncology 2012;(12):910-912
Crocin is a chemical extraction from saffron and it is the most important kind of pigment of saffron.Recently, the research on cervical cancer, bladder cancer, leukemia, tongue squamous cell carcinoma, colon cancer, pancreatic cancer shows that crocin has a role in inducing apoptosis of the tumor cells by activating caspase-3,regulating the ratio of bcl-2/bax and repressing the expression of survivin.Crocin has a strong inhibitory effect on tumor proliferation by inducing cell cycle to arrest through down-regulating the expression of cyclin D1 and up-regulating the expression of p27kip1.Crocin can also exert antitumor effects by liposome encapsulation to enhance cytotoxic effect.Crocin is a kind of effective chemical for tumor treatment and prevention with no significant toxico-and by-effect in vivo, and is likely to be used as an anticancer drug clinically in the future.
4.Relationship between the physical and chemical properties of calcium phosphate ceramics and the host tissue
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2001;24(2):81-85
Calcium phosphate ceramics, such as tricalcium phosphate (TCP) and hydroxyapatite (HA) are commonly used as bone substitutes. These materials have different physical and chemical properties and, therefore, display different interactions with the host tissue. Factors such as porosity, osteoconductivity, and biocompatibility seem to become increasingly important in the development of new artificial bone replacement materials. This article focuses on the relationship between the physical and chemical properties of calcium phosphate ceramics and the host tissue.
5.Composition, function in PI3K/Akt and PTEN, and the relationship with developing brain after hypoxiaischemia
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(1):20-22
P13K/Akt signaling pathway is an classic anti-apoptotic,urge-survival signal transduction pathway. It plays important regulation and control roles in neurons apoptosis.PTEN ( phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome 10) is a highly conservative tumor suppressor gene with a dual-specificity phosphatase activity.PTEN protein can specifically dephosphorylats the 3 position of phosphoinositides, antagonize the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway,as negativity regulation and control roles to cell survival and growth. This review summarizes the progresses of the composition, function in PI3 K/Akt and PTEN,and the relationship with developing brain after hypoxia-ischemia.
6.Progress of high mobility group box 1 protein and sepsis
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(2):170-173
High mobility groupbox 1 (HMGB1),a highly conserved protein previously known as a DNA-binding protein involved in maintenance of nucleosome structure and regulation of gene transcription, was recently found to act as a potent proinflammatory cytokine during infection responses.Levels of HMGB1 increase in serum and tissues during infection, especially in sepsis.A growing number of studies have demonstrated that HMGB1 is a cytokine that can mediate inflammation and is a potential therapeutic target in experimental models of sepsis. In this article,we will describe the biological function of HMGB 1 and HMGB 1 inhibitors for a potential role of inflammatory disease treatment.
7.P-glycoprotein expression in lung cancer and progress in cisplatin resistance
Cancer Research and Clinic 2011;23(8):565-567
Cisplatin is widely used in lung cancer chemotherapy, but drug resistance seriously affects its efficacy. The mechanism of cisplatin resistance is not yet clear. Now it is widely recognized that P-glycoprotein (P-glycoprotein, P-gp) expression is associated with cisplatin resistance. Inhibition of P-gp expression can overcome cisplatin resistance and improve the treatment efficacy.
8.Correlation study of blood gas analysis and diabetes mellitus in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2011;34(21):1-3
Objective To study the correlation of blood gas analysis and diabetes mellitus in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)patients and its clinical significance. Methods One hundred and twenty-five patients with stable phase COPD patients including 69 cages with COPD combined with diabetes mellitus(experimental group),56 patients with COPD alone(control group). The blood gas analysis and pulmonary function were detected. Results The simple pulmonary function forced vital capacity(FVC),vital capacity(VC),forced expired volume in one second(FEV1),peak expiratory flow (PEF)(25%-75%)and the diffusion function parameters diffusion capacity for carbon monoxide of the lung (DLCO),DLCO/PRED in control group were significantly higher than those in experimental group(P<0.05).Arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)was lower in experimental group than that in control group[(61.23±8.34)mm Hg(1 mm Hg=0.133 kPa)vs.(72.34±9.32)mm Hg,P<0.05],while there was no significant difference in partial pressure of carbon dioxide in artery(PaCO2)between two groups[(45.34±6.43)mm Hg vs.(44.89±4.98)mm Hg,P>0.05].Conclusion COPD combined with diabetes mellitus may lead to some damage in lung function and diffusion function,it should be noted in the clinieal treatment of reasonable adjustments in treatment.
9.Clinical analysis of 266 cases with hand foot and mouth disease in Shenyang area 2009
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2011;18(6):511-514
Objective To summarize the prevention and treatment of hand food and mouth disease (HFMD),especially the severe cases. Methods We analyzed the data including gender, age, time of onset, place of residence, contact history, clinical manifestation, accessory examinations and clinical outcome of 266 HFMD cases hospitalized in our department from Apr to Oct 2009,and identified the clinical and epidemiologic features associated with HFMD.Results Age group ranged from 4 months to 11 years with 87.6%(233/266) of the cases≤5 years. Most cases were resident in rural or suburban area, the number of which was 3 times as much as urban.Neurological complications were more common, especially in the cases with increases of white blood cell and neutrophil number in peripheral blood. There were 40 cases with etiological examination results.Twelve cases were infected with enterovirus 71 ( EV71 ) and the others were infected with Coxsackievirus A16.Twelve cases with EV71 infection were complicated with meningoencephalitis, encephalitis, encephalomyelitis, one of whom was brain stem encephalitis. Conclusion The high-risk group of HFMD are the children less than 5 years. The suburban and rural are the key areas of prevention and control. The neurological complications are common, especially in the case with EV71 infection and significant increases of white blood cell and neutrophil number in peripheral blood.
