Objective To investigate teaching situation of Introduction to Medicine at SJTUSM,and to make more progress in educational reforms. Methods By analyzing questionnaire and test paper, the relevant information was collected and analyzed by SPSS statistics software. Results Teaching the course at SJTUSM was basically satisfactory. Conclusion The investigation showed that the teaching quality of the course is being improved. However, the quality guarantee system of teaching process needs to be further perfected.

Objective:To observe the consistence of the color and optical parameters of metal-ceramic, all-ceramic and composite resin with Vita Classical shade guides. Methods:Specimens of VITA VMK95 metal-ceramic, In-Ceram all-ceramic and Artglass composite resin according to the same area with Vita Classical shade guide were made respectively. ?E_ ab ,L,a,b between specimens and shade guide were calculated. Results:The mean ?E between shade guide and all-ceramic or composite resin was less than 3 NBS. The mean ?E between shade guide and metal-ceramic material was 13.78 NBS, the significant difference could be identified by visual determination (P

Objective To determine the expression and the correlation of CD105 and VEGF in angiogenesis of colorectal cancer(CRC). Method Expression of CD105 and VEGF in 48 specimens of CRC tissues and 48 specimens of colorectal tissues far from the cancer (CRTFC) were investigated by immunohistochemical staining. Results The microvessel density(MVD) marked by CD105 and the expression of VEGF in CRC tissue were significantly higher than those in the CRTFC(P

Objectire To identify specific biomarkers that could improve early diagnsis of lung adenuearcinoma using matrix-assisted laser desorptian/ionization (MALDI) technology. Methods Serum samples were isolated from 17 patients with stage I lung adenuearcinoma and 17 age- and sex-matched healthy controls, and the serum proteomic profiles were obtained by matrix-assistcd laser desorption ionization time of flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry. Results Compared with healthy control group, two highly expressed potential biomarkers were identified with the relative molecular weights of 6 631.64 Da and 4 964. 21 Da. The two best novel protein peaks were automatically chosen for the system training and the development of the constructed model. The constructed model was then used to test an independent set of masked serum samples from 15 lung adenocarcinoma patients and 22 healthy individuals. The analysis yielded a sensitivity of 93.3 %, and a specificity of 95.5 %. Conclusion These results suggest that MALDI-TOF-MS ProteinChip technology is a quick, convenient, and high-output analyzing method that is capable of selecting several relatively potential biomarkers from the serum of lung adenocarcinoma patients and may have a clinical value in the future, and will provide clues to identifying new serologic btomarkers of lung adenocarcinoma.

Objective To explore the effective treatment of acute deep venous thrombosis(DVT) of left lower extremity accompanied with Cockett syndrome. Methods The data of 16 patients with acute DVT of left lower extremity accompanied with Cockett syndrome, who were admitted to our hospital from August,2004 to January,2008,were analyzed retrospectively.Inferior vena caval filters were inserted and thrombectomy was done to all of the 16 patients;PTA and stent insertion were done in 13 patients and PTA only in the other 3 patients.Anticoagulation, thrombolysis and antiplatelet therapy were given postoperatively to all the patients. Results There was no death or pulmonary embolism in all 16 patients;Forteen patieats had good outcome,2 had acute DVT of left lower extremity one day after surgery, and limbs swelling subsided after anticoagulation, thrombolysis and antiplatelet treatment before their discharge.Forteen patients were followed up from 1 month to 25 months(average 11 months),and 2 patients had post-DVT syndrome, but the others had no swelling or varicose veins of the lower extremity. Conclusions Most patients with acute DVT of left lower extremity accompanied with Cockett syndrome could get satisfactory outcome with thrombectomy,PTA and stent insertion.

Objective To analyze the image diagnosis and differential diagnosis of bone destruction with soft-tissue tumor in sacrum. Methods 26 cases patient proved by surgically and pathologically were retrospectively reviewed, including chordoma (n=8) , giant cell tumor (n=5), tuberculosis(n=5),metastatic cancer(n=3), sarcoma(n=2), and malignant neurofibroma, osteomyelitis, eosinophilic granuloma in one each. Results All cases image manifested as different kinds of bone destruction and soft-tissue tumor in sacrum , pelvis organ were moved. Conclusion A reliable diagnosis can be made by the shape a bone destruction , location characterization of soft-tissue tumor and the age.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
The determination of plasma factor Ⅷ related antigen (ⅧR:Ag) is a new method to estimate the function of blood coagulation introduced only recently. The concentration of this substance of 50 patients ill with chronic renal failure, neoplastic diseases, diabetes mellitus, (all these diseases were complicated with vascular changes) and 60 normal persons were determined. The data obtained showed that the concentration of plasma factor Ⅷ related antigen was significantly increased in all the 50 patients in comparing with the normal, and the increase was most marked in those patients with malignant diseases. The clinical significance of this phenomenon was discussed and it was suggested that the increase of this plasma factor Ⅷ related antigen might reflect the severity of the damage of the vascular endothelial cells in these patients.
