Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(06):-
Objective To determine the content of Hesperidin in Henggu Gushangyu Tablets by high performance liquid chromatography. Methods The determination was conducted on Shim-pack-C18 column (150 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m) with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.4% phosphoric acid water (20∶80). The detection wavelength was 283 nm. Results Good linear relationship of Hesperidin between area and amount was noted for 0.194~0.970 ?g, with a correlation coefficient of 0.999 9. The average recovery was 98.50%, and RSD was 0.63%. Conclusion The established method is simple, accurate and sensitive, and can be applied to the quality control of the preparation.

Objective To explore the spatio-temporal regularity of cerebral edema in the early stage of severe burn (50% TBSA Grade Ⅲ) with four-dimensional (4D) mathematic model. Methods Twenty-six dogs were randomly divided into control group and 6, 12, 18 and 24 hours post-burn groups. The dogs in the postburn groups suffered severe burn of 50% TBSA GradeⅢ. Six hours after burn, 50 g/L glucose was injected according to Parkland formula. MRI manifestation, histopathological changes, brain water content and intracranial pressure were observed in each group. A 4D mathematic model was established based on the results of MRI scanning. Results Two turning points ( 6 and 18 hours postburn) and three phases of pathologic changes were displayed by 4D mathematic model of cerebral edema in the early stage of severe burn. The first phase (6 hours postburn) was in the subclinical period, when an effective treatment should be taken as quickly as possible so as to prevent deterioration of postburn cerebral edema. The second phase ( 6-18 hours postburn) was in the apostatic period with pathologic characteristic of vasogenic and cytotoxic brain edema. The third stage (18-24 hours postburn) was the critical period of cerebral edema. Intracerebral pressure (ICP) increased rapidly due to limitation of cranial cavity, when cerebral hernia easily happened. Conclusions The 4D model indicates that there is a feature of type S curve in the pathologic process of cerebral edema in the early stage after severe burn.

Objective To observe the growth and differentiation of the cultured mouse bone marrow stromal cells in vitro into neural like cells. Methods Bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) isolated from mice were cultured according to the routine method, and induced to differentiate by basic fibroblast growth factor b (bFGF), retinoic acid (RA), nerve growth factor (NGF), and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO). Expressions of neural microfilament protein (NF 200), glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), and fibronectin at 72 h after inductin were determined by immunoflurenscence and immunocytochemicalmethod. Results At 72 h after inductin, neural like changes were found in BMSCs. Immunohistochemical stain showed that 60% BMSCs differentiated into NF 200 positive cells, and about 50% BMSCs into GFAP positive cells. Fibronectin expression was significantly lower as compared with that in the control group. Conclusion Combined action of RA, bFGF, NGF, and DMSO can induce BMSCs to differentiate into neural like cells in vitro .

ObjectiveTo revise belief in a just world scale (BJW) established by Dalbert according with Chinese cultures and examine its reliability and validity.MethodsAt the base of studying abroad-related questionnaire and preparatory tests,a total 930 undergraduates form The East,The Middle and The West of China participant in this test respectively.ResultsThrough item analysis and explore factor analysis, the revised belief in a just world contained 13 items and 2 subscales which could explain 52.205% of the total variances. The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the revised belief in a just world scales had good construct validity. The Cronbach's coefficients of the scales was 0.885,and test-retest reliabilities was 0.884.ConclusionThe revised belief in just world scales has fairly high reliability and validity.

ObjectiveTo examine the relationship between belief in a just world of college students and prosocial tendencies.Methods400 college students were examined by using the belief in a just of Chinese versions ( BJW ) and the prosocial tendencies scales.Results①There was a marginally significant difference on college student's general belief in a just world and personal belief in a just world among different grades ( F=3.90,F=3.05,P < 0.05 ).②The personal belief in a just world and general belief in a just world was significantly posilively correlated with the prosocial tendencies of college students ( r =0.25,r =0.24,P < 0.01 ).③Significant differences existed between the high-scoriug,the middle group and the low-scoring BJW group in prosocial tendencies and its sub-dimensions ( F =3.36 ~ 12.87,P < 0.05,P < 0.01 ),expect the openness dimension of prosocial tendencies( F =1.71,P > 0.05 ).The scores of those three groups on prosocial tendencies ( (3.74 ± 0.43 ),( 3.57 ± 0.42),( 3.44 ± 0.43 ) ) and its sub-dimensions shows a decreasing trend from high to low.④Layer multivariate linear regression analysis showed that general belief in a just world were significant predictors of the prosocial tendencies( β =0.18,P< 0.01 ).ConclusionsThe intensity of belief in a just world has a certain impact on the prosocial tendencies of college students.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2021;20(2):164-167
Phased national medical licensing examination requires clinical students to have the ability to apply basic medical knowledge to solve comprehensive clinical problems. But the traditional teaching patterns of Medical Microbiology experiments can no longer meet requirements of actual education effect. In order to accommodate new situation, we have integrated medical licensing examination with microbiology experimental teaching syllabus and contents. We have also comprehensively applied a variety of teaching methods and curriculum formative assessment in class. These reforming methods have efficiently improved classroom teaching effect and greatly inspired the enthusiasm of students, and effectively improved early clinical thinking ability and innovation ability of students.

Objectives:To explore the relationship between sleep quality and coping styles in cervical cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy.Methods:68 cervical cancer patients were assessed by convenient sampling, who had been investigated with Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Jalowiec coping scale (JCS-60).Results:Global PSQI score was (8.60 ± 4.47).Optimistic coping scored highest with score of (2.11 ± 0.45),which was the style most often applied by cervical cancer patients.Emotive coping scored lowest with score of (0.97 ± 0.62).Among 60 coping items,Hoped that things would get better was the most often used coping strategy,Took a drink to make yourself feel better was the least used coping strategy.Global PSQI score was positively correlated with fatalistic coping(r =0.325,P =0.008).Confrontive coping was positively correlated with subjective sleep quality score(r =0.318,P =0.009),while supportive coping was negatively related to subjective sleep quality score(r =-0.306,P =0.013),and palliative was negatively related to daytime dysfunction(r =-0.245,P =0.047).Gonclusions:Sleep problems are a common complaint in cervical cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy.Health care workers should guide the patients to adopt active coping styles to improve sleep quality.

Objective To isolate the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) from the GFP-expressing mouse, and to study the osteoblastic differentation of the cells. Methods MSCs were isolated by density gradient centrifugation, then the clutrued cells were induced to osteoblastic differentiation using the conditional medium. We detectd the expression of GFP and MSCs differentiation into osteoblasts by histochemistry and immunochemistry. Results The MSCs maintained the expression of GFP during expanded and induced process. After induced for 10 days, lots of alkaline phosphatase and osteoclcin staining positive cells were observed. Conclusion The MSCs of GFP-expressing mouse were successfully isolated and differentiated into ostoblasts. It may be valuable for tracing the seeding cells in tissue engineering bone.
