The article explores the relationship of the hepatitis C virus infection with interferon treatment and thyroid diseases and reviews the subtypes of the thyroid diseases.Autoimmune and nonautoimmune cases of thyroiditis are often seen in patients with chronic hepatitis C while undergoing interferon treatment,especially in females with positive thyroid autoantibodies.Graves' disease is very rare.The thyroid function may be as a transient thyrotoxicosis,then followed by hypothyroidism.The thyroid function in patients with nonautoimmune thyroiditis is usually easy to recover.

Objective To evaluate the application effect of quality control circle on reducing the defect rate of health education in perioperative period of gynecologic surgery patients. Methods To carry out quality control circle activities, analysis of gynecological surgery patients in perioperative health education defect rate to the cause, the development of countermeasures, to achieve the purpose of continuous quality improvement. Results Before implementation health defects rate was 43.3%(303/700), after the implementation health education defect rate was 11.4%(223/1 950). The health defects rate before and after the implementation showed significant difference (χ2=8.387, P=0.004). The incidence of anxiety before and after the implementation was 11.8%(23/195) and 4.1%(8/195), the difference was significantly different (χ2=7.885, P =0.005). Conclusions To carry out the quality circle activity, can effectively reduce the perioperative health education defect rate and improve the quality of care and patient satisfaction, method is simple and easy to operate, it is worth clinical promotion.

The study was carried out on 52 patients with severe falciparum malaria: 26 cases were treated by quinine, SMP in combination with Thymogene (control group). The results showed that: There is a reduction on cellular immune response in severe malaria. Thymogen has contributed to increase the immune response in comparison with this before treatment. Thymogen has contributed shortening time to defervescence, clearance of parasitaemia and coma duration in 2-days after treatment in comparison to control group. Mechanism of reversing multidrug resistance (MDR) is associated with transport proteins.Up to date, researches mainly concern P-glycoprotein (P-gp) multidrug resistance associated protein 1(MRP1), breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP) inhibitors. Multidrug resistance associated protein 7(MRP7) is one of ABC transporters ,which belongs to multidrug resistance associated protein (MRP) subfamily. A certain number of studies have been conducted in recent years about it , however , they are relatively less than studies on P-GP,MRP1 and BCRP, et al. Structure of MRP7 has certain differences compared with that of other MRPs,and MRP7 mediates drug resistance to paclitaxel,vincristine,taxanes,etc. In recent years reported inhibitors include cepharanthine tyrosine kinase inhibitors、cyclosporine A,et al. MDR results from a variety of mechanisms so that researches on other transporters may provide extensive ways to reverse MDR.

Objective To establish a HPLC method for determining of the content of palmatine hydrochloride in Fuke Qianjin Tablets. Methods HPLC was performed on Shimadzu-C18 column. The mobile phase consisted of 0.05 mol·L-1 sodium acid phosphate (pH=3, adjusted by phosphoric acid)-acetonitrile (72 : 28). The detection wavelength was at 265 nm. Results The linear correlation was in the range of 0. 051 μg～0. 255 μg(r=0. 999 9). The average recovery was 100. 04 %, and RSD=1.03 % (n=5). Conclusion The method is accurate and specific.

Objective To observe the clinical effects of coronoid process of ulna osteotomy and bilateral anatomic locking plate on humerus condyle comminuted fracture in the elderly.Methods 17 elderly patients with humerus condyle comminuted fracture were collected in department of orthopaedics in our hospital from July 2005 to December 2013 and graded into C2 (6 cases) and C3 (11 cases) according to the standard of the American society for the prevention of bone trauma.All patients were treated by coronoid process of ulna osteotomy and bilateral anatomic locking plate and accessed by Mayo elbow performance score (MEPS) at the last follow-up.Results Postoperative incision in all patients were healed,and X-ray showed fracture healing occurred at 10 to 24 weeks after coronoid process of ulna osteotomy (average of 14 weeks).No iatrogenic ulnar nerve injury and nonunion were found at the follow-up.The MEPS were excellent in 13 cases,well in 3 cases,ordinary in 1 case,and the excellent and good rate was 94.1％.Conclusions Coronoid process of ulna osteotomy and bilateral anatomic locking plate in the treatment of humerus condyle comminuted fracture in the elderly have good clinical effects with many advantages such as exposure clearly,early elbow joint function exercise and avoiding the aggravation of elbow joint osteoarthritis.

Pulmonary edema was induced by Adrenallne (Ad) administration (0.1mg/kg) in 20 rats. This type of edema is similar to neurogenic pulmonary edema. Acute progressive respiratory distress, eynosis and dyspnea occurred. All died within 5 min after Ad injection and the pulmonary index (PI)was 1.70?0.47((?)?SD). The PI of normal control group was 0.48?0.06 in 20 rats. Only temporary respiratory distress was found in the anisodamine prevented group. One of 23 died in 20 min after Ad injection. This study was performed to assess the effect of myocardial ischemicreperfusion on cardiac function and research the action of free radicals in the reperfusion injury by observing the effect of free radical scavenger (superoxide dismutase, SOD) in the shortly ischemic-reperfused rabbits. Three groups were studied: Group Ⅰ (SOD 300u/kg, n= 10) and Group Ⅱ (control, n= 8) were subjected to 15 rain of total occlusion of the left ventricular branch of coronary artery (LVB) followed by 10 min of reperfusion; in Group Ⅲ (n= 8), rabbits underwent continuous occlusion of LVB for 25 min. Cardiac index (CI), left ventricutar systolic peak pressure (LVSP), maximum rate of left ventricular pressure development (+dp/dr max), and maximum rate of fall of left ventricular pressure (-dp/dr max) in the Group Ⅱ were significantly lower than those in the Group Ⅰ and Group Ⅲ during reperfusion. According to the Sunamori's method with which the myocardial ultrastructure can be analysed quantitatively, the most serious injury in the ischemic area was found in Group Ⅲ, then Group Ⅱ and Group Ⅰ; in the non-ischemic area, obvious injury was only found in Group Ⅱ. The results suggested that the cardiac function was obviously suppressed during reperfusion after short period of regional ischemia and that the oxygen free radicals might play an important role in this reperfusion injury.
