1.Research of predictive model of drinking water quality based on wavelet neural network

Objective:To provide the methodology reference for the drinking water quality prediction.Methods:A predictive model of drinking water quality was established by wavelet neural network.The monthly average concentration of potassium permanganate in Chongqing,one drinking water quality parameter,was predicted by the model,and the predictive results were compared with BP neural network.Results:RMSE and MAPE were applied to evaluate the predictive results.The research indicated that the precision of WNN model was superior to that of BP neural network model.Conclusion:The WNN model has better precision for drinking water quality prediction.

3.Affects of Apatinib in the Invasion Ability of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Cells

Objective To observe the effect of apatinib on the invasion ability and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cell line A549 and H460.Methods Different doses of apatinib were incubated with the A549 and H460 cells,then the effect of apatinib on the invasion of A549 cells was detected by Transwell assay,and the change of cell morphology was observed by optical microscope,and the expression of EMT related proteins were detected by Western blotting.Results The cell viability of A549 and H460 have no change when the concentration of apatinib was under 120 nmol·L-1.Therefore,60 nmol·L-1 and 120 nmol·L-1 apatinib were used in the further experiments.The invasion of A549 cells was reduced after apatinib incubation for 48 h,with cell morphology changes,and the expression of E-cadherin was enhanced,with the depresion of N-cadherin,Vimentin and Snail,which were related to the progress of EMT.Conclusion Apatinib could induce the MET,and reduce the invasion ability of A549 and H460 cells.
4.Empirical study of the influences of perceived social support on students′learning behavior:self efficacy as a moderator

Objective The study discussed the underlying mechanism of the impact of perceived social support on individual learning behavior from the perspective of the psychosocial impact theory .Methods 224 students majored in public management were involved ,and the dada was collected by questionnaires ,then the conceptual model was tested by moderate effect sequence of statistical analysis .Results The findings were as follows :Firstly ,perceived social support had a significant effect on individual learning behavior (β=0 .332 ,P<0 .01) .Secondly ,the relationship between perceived social support and individual learning behavior was moderated by self efficacy (β= -0 .216 ,P<0 .01) .Conclusion Perceived social support and self efficacy have moderate effect on individual learning behavior .
5.Effects and efficiency of various powers of ultrasonic subgingival work tip on dental root surface A scanning electron microscopic study

BACKGROUND: Excessive residue of dental calculus and dental plaque and scratch of Instruments on dental root surface will cause rough root surface, which will accelerate accumulation of dental calculus and dental plaque. Improved scaling can solve this problem, but the operation of ultrasonic subgingival scaling is not regular by some clinical physicians.OBJECTIVE: To study the effect on the root surfaces and the work efficacy following ultrasonic subgingival scaling with different output power and different parts of work tip.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: The comparison observational study was performed at the Laboratory of Medical College of Qingdao University from March to May 2009.MATERIALS: Twenty root surfaces from ten teeth extracted for severe periodontal diseases were selected, and the volume of dental calculus was basically equal. Ex vivo teeth were obtained from two male patients aged 40-50 years.METHODS: Twenty root surfaces were randomly divided into group A or group B, the high power was set as "3" gear (group A), and the low power was set as "1" gear (group B), using the side (group A1 and B1) and the top (group A2 and B2) of work tip. The time for scaling was recorded and the surface feature of all the specimens was observed under scanning electron microscope(SEM).MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Changes in root surface structure were observed.RESULTS: The damage of root surfaces in groups A1 and B1 was less severe, while more in groups A2 and B2. There were less calculus and plaque residual on root surfaces in group A than in group B. Cementum exfoliation was observed in group A but not in group B. The operating time of group A was significantly shorter than that of group B (P < 0.01). However, there was no significant difference between groups A1 and A2 or groups B1 and B2 (P > 0.05).CONCLUSION: Calculus and plaque can be cleaned more effectively and the damage is less severe by using the side of work tip. Although the calculus can be cleaned more rapidly by using higher power set, the damage is more severe.
6.The Clinical Application of Interventional Embolization in Arteriovenous Malformations of the Body

Objective To explore the methods of embolism in simple and complex arteriovenous malformation of body.Methods Ten cases with the body arteriovenous malformations treated with interventional embolization were retrospectively analysed. Coil or detached bollon were used in simple arteriovenous malformations which could be embolized directly, while IBCA were used in complex ones, which could embolize the abnormal vascular group, blocking blood supply of multiple arteries and preventing construction of collateral circulation which could lead to recur. Results The abnormal vasculars were embolized completely in all ten cases, and there were no recurrent followed-up for 1~6 years.Conclusion Interventional embolization is a simple and credible therapeutic method for arteriovenous malformations of body , and it should be the primary plan.
7.Effect of GRP94 expression down-regulation on proliferation abilities of human lung carcinoma A549 cells

Objective:To investigate the effect of GRP94 gene expression down-regulation on the proliferation in human lung carcinoma A549 cells and possible mechanism.Methods:Expression of GRP94 was examined in 4 lung carcinoma cells and two lung bronchial epithelial cells by qRT-PCR and Western blot.Chemically synthesized siRNA targeting GRP94 gene and transfected into A549 cells used by Lipofectamine2000.The mRNA and protein expression levels of GRP94,c-myc and cyclinD1 were detected by qRT-PCR and Western blot.CCK8 assay and Colony formation assay were used to detect the effect of specific GRP94 siRNA on cell proliferation.Results:The levels of GRP94 expression in the four lung carcinoma cells were significantly higher than that in two lung bronchial epithelial cells (P<0.05).GRP94 siRNA significantly downregulated the levels of GRP94 mRNA and protein in A549 cells, and the downregulation evidently suppressed cell proliferation.However, The c-myc and cyclinD1 expression levels in A549 cells in siRNA-GRP94 group was significantly lower than that in siRNA-NC group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The levels of GRP94 expression in lung carcinoma cells were significantly higher than that in normal lung epithelial cells.Knockdown GRP94 expression significantly inhibit the level of lung carcinoma A549 cells proliferation,which may act via influencing the expression of c-myc,cyclinD1.
8.Investigation of complications of pneumocentesis biopsy in the elderly

Objective To investigate the difference in occurrence of pneumothorax and bleeding under lung biopsy between the elderly and the non-elderly. Methods A total of 297 consecutive patients were involved in the study and divided into non- elderly group (< 60 yrs,122 cases),and elderly group (≥60 yrs,175 cases).Eighteen gauge (18G) cutting needles were used for biopsy with computed tomography (CT) guidance. Biopsy samples were detected by histology and cytology pathology. Results Pneumothorax occured in 108 of 297 biopsies (36.4%),pneumothorax rate was higher in elderly group (76 cases,43.4%) than in non-elderly group(32 cases,26.2%) (x2=9.19,P<0.01).No statistical significance was found in different degrees of pneumothorax between the two groups.Perifocal hemorrhage occured in 156 of 297 biopsies (52.5%),higher frequency of hemorrhage occurred in elderly group (105 cases,60.0%) than in non-elderly group(51 cases,41.8%)(x2=9.55,P<0.01),and the more flake bleeding vas found in elderly group than in nonelderly group(x2 =20.28,P<0.01). Conclusions In CT guided coaxial cutting needle biopsy,the incidence of pneumothorax and considerably bleeding are higher in the elderly than in non-elderly.
9.Study on HPLC Fingerprint of the Stir-frying-processed Product of Selaginella moellendorffii Hieron

Objective To establish a HPLC fingerprint identification method for the stir-frying product of Selaginella moellendorffii Hieron.Methods RP-HPLC method was performed on Zorbax C18(250 mm? 4.6 mm,5 ? m)column.The chromatographic condition was as follows:mobile phase consisting of 0.5 % acetic acid and acetonitrile,gradient elution,flow rate of 1 mL/min and detection wavelength at 260 nm and 338 nm.Results There were 12 feature peaks,which made up HPLC fingerprint pattern of stir-frying products of Selaginella moellendorffii Hieron.Conclusion The method is simple,accurate with a good repeatability,and can be used for the quality control of stir-frying product of Selaginella moellendorffii Hieron.
10.Ischemic preconditioning maintains myocardial mitochondria cardiolipin and attenu- ates heart impairment in isolated rat hearts

Objective To investigate the effect of ischemic preconditioning ( IP) on the content of myocardial mitochondria cardiolipin and the heart function in isolated rat hearts. Methods Seventy-two healthy SD rats of both sexes ( 36 males,36 females) weighing 200 to 300 g were randomly divided into 4 groups ( n =18 for each group) : normal group,control group,IP group ( IP) and 5-hydroxydecanoate ( 5-HD) plus IP group ( HD) . Langendorff apparatus were used to establish the model of ischemia/reperfusion in isolated rat hearts. The hearts were perfused for 20 min to get stabilization followed by continuous perfusion in normal group for 100 min. In control group,after perfusing of 20 min for stabilization followed by continuous perfusion for 30 min,the hearts were then reperfused for 30 min after 40 min ischemia. In IP group,the hearts were given a 5-minute ischemia and 5-minute reperfusion for twice in order within a brief intermittent period,and ischemia reperfusion was carried out in the same way as that in control group. In HD group,the hearts were perfused with 100 ?mol/L 5-HD before IP,and the following procedures were carried out as those in IP group. HR,left ventricular end-diastolic pressure ( LVEDP) ,left ventricular developed pressure ( LVDP) were recorded at the end of stable perfusion ( T1) ,immediately before ischemia ( T2) and at the end of reperfusion ( T3) in all the groups. The content of myocardial mitochondria cardiolipin was measured with HPLC. Results When theparameters at T3 were compared with those at T1 and T2,HR and LVDP were decreased,LVEDP was increased and the content of myocardial mitochondria cardiolipin was decreased.
