1.Retrospective Analysis on Turnover Ratio of Drug Stock in Our Hospital during 2010-2013

Objective:To study the medicine storage management mode in our hospital. Methods: The medicine sales and inventory data were obtained from 2010 to 2013 by the HIS of our hospital. Medicine storage turnover ratio was calculated by using Microsoft Excel. The efficiency in the inventory management was evaluated by medicine storage turnover ratio. The storage control in our hospital was analyzed by the relevant references. Results: The medicine storage turnover ratio from 2010 to 2013 in our hospital was improved to 20. 06 times, the turnover days was reduced to 18 days which met the criteria for the review of the grade A class 3 hospital. Conclusion: The medicine storage management should be scientifically adjusted on the basis of the clinical characteristics and the use of medicines in the hospital. In this way, the improvement of medicine storage turnover ratio, the optimized control of the medicine stocks and the improvement of the social and economic benefit of the hospital will be realized.
2.Effect of Electro-acupuncture on Mammalian Target of Rapamycin Expression in Hypoxic-ischemic Encephalopathy Newborn Rats

Objective To observe the intervention effect of electro-acupuncture(EA) on mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) expression in hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) newborn rats. Methods Seven-day-old SD rats were randomly assigned into 3 groups, namely sham-surgery group, HIE model group, and EA group. All of the groups were subdivided into 4 subgroups in terms of 4 time periods of 1, 3, 7 and 21 day(s). Hematoxylin-eosin staining was used for the observation of histological changes in the affected cerebral region. Expression levels of cerebral mTOR were detected with Western blotting method. Results The results of HE staining showed that EA group at experimental day 21 had clear organizational structure, ordered arrangement of neurons, relieved cellular swelling, well cell integrity with clear nucleolus and proliferative glial cells. Compared with the sham-surgery group, mTOR level of the model group was dramatically increased on the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 21st day(P<0.05), and the mTOR expression level of EA group was significantly higher than that in the model group at the above time points (P < 0.05). Conclusion EA can promote mTOR expression in brain tissue and can protect the brain of newborn rats from HIE.
3.Ovarian Malignant Teratoma:Ultrasound Findings and Misdiagnosis Analysis

Purpose To analyze the ultrasound manifestation of ovarian malignant teratoma, and to evaluate its diagnostic value and explore reasons for its misdiagnosis. Materials and Methods A retrospective study was conducted on the ultrasound findings of 25 patients with ovarian malignant teratoma confirmed surgically and pathologically (22 with immature teratoma, 3 with teratoma with malignant transformation). Their ultrasound imaging features were summarized and the reasons for misdiagnosis were further analyzed. Results The ultrasound imaging of 22 immature teratoma cases were divided into three types, namely, predominant solid components, predominant fluid components and mixed components of fluid and solid. All displayed calcification-like strong echo scattering in the low echo;color Doppler showed rich blood signal, little signal or no blood flow signal. Preoperative ultrasound presented1 case of immature teratoma (4.5%), 8 cases of ovarian tumors (malignant) (36.4%) and 13 cases of other diagnosis (59.1%). As to the 3 cases of teratoma with malignant transformation, the ultrasound imaging showed 2 cases were composed by fluid and solid components and that 1 case was mature cystic teratoma;typical hypoecho suggested malignant transformation. Preoperative ultrasound did not present teratoma with malignant transformation. Conclusion The ultrasound findings of ovarian malignant teratoma seem to be complicated and variable;thus the preoperative diagnosis rate is low though it still shows certain characteristics.
4.Mechanism of kuiyusan on recovering intestinal mucosa of patients with active ulcerative colitis

Objective To investigate the mechanism of kuiyusan on recovering intestinal mucosa of patients with active ulcerative colitis(UC). Methods Forty-eight patients with active UC were selected as our subjects. They were applied kuiyusan to retention enema for1 time per day for 15 days as a treatment course. Next treatment course were started interval 7 days and all patients were received 3 treatment courses. Changes of pathological signs were observed before and after the treatment with kuiyusan. Results The rate of intestinal mucosal focal small hemorrhages after treatment was 37. 5 %(18 / 48),significantly lower than that at pre-treatment(87. 5%(42 / 48);χ2 = 25. 60,P < 0. 001). The UC mucosal epithelial regeneration rate,disappear rate of intestinal mucosal epithelial goblet cells and Paneth cells regeneration rate at pre-treatment were 18. 8%(9 / 48),31. 2%(15 / 48),6. 3%(3 / 48),significantly different from that after treatment(50. 0%(24 / 48), 6. 3%( 3 / 48 ),20. 8%( 10 / 48 );χ2 = 10. 39,9. 85,4. 36;P < 0. 01 ). The incidence rate of intestinal lymphocyte hyperplasia and infiltration of eosinophils at pre-treatment were 95. 8%(46 / 48)and 100%(48 /48),higher than that after treatment( 72. 9%( 35 / 48 ) and 56. 2%( 27 / 48 )) and the differences were significant(χ2 = 9. 56,26. 88;P < 0. 01). Crypt abscess incidence were decreased from 56%(27 / 48)at pre-treatment to 25%(12 / 48)at after treatment( χ2 = 9. 72,P < 0. 01). Conclusion Kuiyusan can obviously improve small vascular lesions and crypt abscess of the mucous membrane on active UC,reduce neutrophil, eosinophil infiltration,maintain the intestinal epithelial tight junction,improve mucosal barrier,as well as promote healing of mucosal inflammation.
5.Relationship of TSH with atherosclerosis-related factors in subclinical hypothyroidism

Two hundred and fifty patients with subclinical hypothyroidism ( SCH) and 120 euthyroid volunteers were recruited for the study, SCH patients were stratified into 2 groups according to TSH levels(group A:TSH<10 mIU/ L; group B: TSH>10 mIU/ L). All subjects were examined for clinical characteristics, thyroid profile, lipid profile, and biomarkers of early atherosclerosis. Patients in group B received L-thyroxine replacement treatment to achieve euthyroidism. After 6 months of stable euthyroidism all measurements were repeated. SCH patients had higher levels of total cholesterol(TC), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C), asymmetric dimethyl arginine (ADMA), carotid artery intima media thickness(CIMT), thromboxane B2(TXB2), and C-reactive protein(CRP) but with lower nitric oxide(NO) level compared with euthyroid subjects. Levels of TC, LDL-C, CIMT, TXB2, and ADMA decreased, and NO level increased significantly after 6 months of euthyroidism. TSH was positively correlated with TC, LDL-C, CIMT, ADMA, and TXB2; and negatively correlated with NO. Based on multivariate regression analysis, TSH was an independent influential factor of CIMT and NO. We conclude that raised TSH is an important risk factor of atherosclerosis in SCH.
6.Clinical study of early rehabilitation therapy of stroke patients

Objective To study the effect of early rehabilitation intervention on neurological deficits,equilibrium function, motor function and activities of daily life abilities in stroke patients. Methods Sixty two patients with acute stroke were allocated randomly into two groups: rehabilitation group and control group. The patients in the rehabilitation group were treated with a comprehensive rehabilitation regimen including the clinical treatment,Bobath technique, PNF technique and neuromuscular stimulation therapy. The patients in the control group were treated with medications. Neurological deficits,equilibrium function,motor function and ADL of all the patients were assessed before and after 28 days of rehabilitation intervention. 7.Changes in endothelial function in rats with subclinical hypothyroidism after levothyroxine treatment

Established rat models with subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) were divided into three groups:subclinical hypothyroid(SCH),SCH treated with levothyroxine (L-T4),and control group.The L-T4 group displayed lowered total cholesterol and endothelin levels compared with the SCH group[(1.29 ±0.05 vs 2.38 ±0.55) mmol/L,(98.54 ± 32.43 vs 160.62 ±37.25) nmol/L,both P<0.05].Nitric oxide levels,left ventricular systolic pressure,and blood flow in abdominal aorta were significantly higher in the L-T4 group than those in the SCH group.The results of this study indicate that L-T4 treatment may improve endothclial dysfunction and hemodynamic changes in rats with SCH.
8.Study on influences of Kuiyu dection on contents of IL-6 and IL-8 in patients with ulcerative colitis

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Kuiyu dection on ulcerative colitis and to explore its mechanism.Methods120 patients with ulcerative colitis were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,60 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Kuiyu dection retention enema,1 time a day,15 days for a course of treatment; and the control group was treated with SASP orally,2 g every time,3 times a day,and 15 days for a course of treatment.All patients with a course of treatment for the next 7 days after the rest period of treatment,evaluated after 3 courses.Comprehensive clinical efficacy,the main symptoms,score of integral electronic colonoscopy examination,and the changes of IL-6,IL 8 levels were observed in both groups after treatment with complete remission and six months followed-up,besides,the recurrence rate was also observed.ResultsThe total effective rate was 93.33% in the treatment group,better than the control group 78.33% (x2 =9.027,P<0.05) ; the treatment group also showed better results in diarrhea,pus and blood improvement than the control group (x2=5.630、x2=5.972,P<0.05),the treatment group could significantly reduce UC Serum IL-6,IL-8 level (x2=8.314,P<0.01); electronic colonoscopy examination points,hyperemia,erosions,ulcers in both groups were significantly improved,but the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (x2=8.322,P<0.05) ; 6 months followed-up and the recurrence rate in treatment group were better than control group,and the difference was statistically significant (x2=5.857,P<0.05).ConclusionThrough decreasing the IL-6,IL 8 levels,Kuiyu dection can treat ulcerative colitis,with significant effect,non-toxic side effects,inexpensive,and easy for use.
9.Effect of Light Emitting Diode Red Light Irradiation on Hyperlipidemia Rats

Objective To observe the effect of light emitting diode (LED) red light irradiation on serum lipid in experimental hyperlipidemia rats. Methods 36 healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal control group (n=12) and hyperlipidemic model group (n=24). The normal group was fed with normal diet while the hyperlipidemic model group with fat-rich forage for 6 weeks. The hyperlipidemic model group rats were randomly divided into the hyperlipidemic control group (n=12) and LED treatment group (n=12), and the latter accepted LED red light irradiation for 28 d. The levels of serum lipid including total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C), and the activities of lipoproteinesterase (LPL) and hepatic lipase (HL) were detected with biochemical assay. The expression of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reducase (HMG-CR) of hepatic tissue were measured with immunohistochemical staining. Results Compared with the hyperlipidemic control group, the levels of serum TC, TG and LDL-C decreased while the serum HDL-C increased significantly in the LED treatment group (P<0.01) after treated with LED. The levels of LPL and HL in serum increased (P<0.01) while the activity of HMG-CR decreased (P<0.05). Conclusion LED red light irradiation might play a regulating effect on serum lipid by enhancing the activities of LPL and HL and inhibiting the expression of HMG-CR to interfere the metabolism of TC, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C.
10.Diagnosis and treatment of cystic nephroma:Report of 25 cases

Objective Cystic nephroma ( CN ) is an unusual benign neoplasm with high misdiagnosis rate , and at present there is no general method on its treatment .This study aimed to analyze the diagnosis and treatment of CN based on clinical data of CN patients. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data on 25 patients (including 2 cases of male pediatric patients , aged 14 and 16 years old, and the remaining 23 cases were adults, 11 males and 12 females, aged 14-69[45.1 ±19.6]years) treated in our department of the First Hospital of Shijiazhuang from January 2003 to July 2015 .All patients underwent ultrasound , CT and MRI examination , as well as surgical resection . Results Among these 25 CN patients , there were 15 cases of partial nephrectomy , 5 ca-ses of nephrectomy , 2 cases of retroperitoneal laparoscopic cyst unroofing , 1 case of laparoscopic enucleation of the tumors with nephron-sparing surgery , 1 case of laparoscopic radical nephroureterectomy , and 1 case of retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy .All the patients were successfully followed up for 6 months to 132 months, 1 patient recurred 6 months after retroperitoneal laparoscopic cyst unroo-fing and underwent open partial nephrectomy .No recurrence and me-tastasis were found in the remaining patients . Conclusion Imaging examination is an important measurement for CN , and intraoperative frozen pathology contributes to pathological diagnosis .Since most CN cases are benign , CN patients with no symptom or small cysts can take follow up survey .The principle of the operation is complete resection of the tumor , and nephron-sparing surgery is the first choice . In addition , regular follow-up is necessary in case of recurrence and malignant potential .
