1.Association between the serum CysC,lipoprotein(a) and urinary microalbumin/creatinine ratio among elderly type 2 dibetic patients
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2017;38(8):1029-1031
Objective To analyze the relationship between the serum CysC,lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] and the urinary microalbumin/creatinine ratio in elderly type 2 dibetic (T2CM) patients. Methods A total of 102 elderly patients with T2CM who were treated in our hospital from December 2014 to December 2015 were selected. The patients were divided into diabetic nephropathy(DN) group(mALB≥20 μg/min,48 cases)and non-diabetic nephropathy(NDN) group (mALB<20 μg/min,54 cases) according the levels of urinary mALB,while 30 cases of healthy controls were selected from physical examination center. The biochemical indexes,CysC,Lp(a) and UACR were detected among all cases. The correlation between indexes and UACR was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis, risk factors for UACR among DN patients were analyzed by Logistic regression analysis. Results There were significant differences in levels of low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),Lp(a),urea,creatinine,fasting blood glucose(FBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),Cysc,and UACR among these groups (P<0.05).No correlation between CysC、Lp(a) and UACR was found in normal-control group and non-diabetic nephropathy group. In diabetic nephropathy group, there was a positive correlation between CysC,Lp(a) and UACR(r=0.658,P<0.01;r=0.525,P<0.05).The Logistic regression analysis showed that diabetes duration,CysC,Lp(a) were independent risk factors for UACR(P<0.05).Conclusion In patients with diabetic nephropathy,CysC,Lp(a) are positively correlated with UACR,and CysC is a sensitive index that reflect early renal damage in T2DM patients.Lp(a) level is one of the independent risk factors for UACR,which can reveal the kidney damage in DN patients.
2.Regulation of cyclin E and cancers
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(5):337-340
Cyclin E is expressed starting from the middle G1 phase of the cell cycle, and is accumulated in the G1/S boundry.Cyclin E binds to and activates the cyclin-dependent kinase CDK2.Cyclin E-CDK2 complex initiates a cascade of events that leads to DNA replication by phosphorylating its substrates, such as Rb,CDC6,NPAT and P107,etc.Additionally,cyclin E plays an important role in the regulation of genomic stability,spindle-organizing structure and centrosome cycle.Cyclin E expression is trans-activated by members of the transcription factor E2F family and degrades via the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. At the same time,it is also negatively regulated by the CIP/KIP proteins.Cyclin E highly expressed in the initiation and progression of different human cancers, such as breast cancers, lung cancers, leukemia, lymphomas and others.

Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2015;31(5):692-701
To explore the influence of low light on the synthesis of carotenoids, chlorophyll and the adaptability of transgenic plants with tomato Solanum lycopersicon L. GGPS2 gene, we constructed a vector containing a GGPS2 gene with green fluorescent protein (GFP) as report gene under the control of a cauliflower mosaic virus 35S promoter and introduced it into tobacco Nicotiana tabacum L. cv. Wisconsin 38 by Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation. PCR analysis of the DNA from kanamycin resistant tobacco indicated that the transgenic tobacco containing the nptII gene, SlaGGPS2 gene and without contamination of Agrobacterium. We also detected the root tip of kanamycin resistant tobacco showing characteristic fluorescence. The contents of carotenoid, chlorophyll and photosynthesis of transgenic tobacco increased in comparison with wild tobacco after low light treatment. In addition, leaf mass per unit area, total dry weight, ratio of root to shoot in transgenic tobacco were all higher than that of the wild tobacco, which proved that the transgenic tobacco could increase the accumulation of biomass and promote it transport to root. The transgenic tobacco with SlaGGPS2 gene can increase the contents of carotenoid, chlorophyll, enhance the photosynthetic rate, promote the biomass accumulation and its distribution to root. Hence, the transgenic tobacco with SlaGGPS2 gene had increased low light tolerance and the SlaGGPS2 gene maybe can be used in other crops.
