Objective To investigate the impact of daily life ability, self-efficacy and social support on post-stroke depression. Methods This was a cross-sectional questionnaire survey. A convenience sample of stroke patients from neurology department was created. Data were collected from patients about their level of daily life ability, self-efficacy, social support and depression measured. Inferential statistics multiple regression analysis was used to estimate the relationships between the predictors and post-stroke depression. Results A total of 144 (96.00%) of 150 stroke patients completed the questionnaires. The level of depression was 14.19 ± 9.25 with 25.00% (36/144) of incidence of post-stroke depression. Self-efficacy scored 40.45 ± 11.41, social support scored 28.34 ± 8.02, which negatively predicted depression (r=-0.834 and-0.736, P<0.01 respectively). Self-efficacy had the most significant impact on depression (t=-6.433, P < 0.01), however, the impact from daily life ability scored 76.74 ± 22.12, which had not statistically significant impact on depression (t=-1.773, P=0.083). Conclusions During treatment and nursing management of post-stroke depression, attention should be paid to the psychiatric variable such as self-efficacy and social support.

Objective To investigate the clinical and neuroimage characteristics of reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome (RPLS) in Chinese elderly patients. Methods The characteristic clinical presentation and neuroimaging of 5 elderly patients with RPLS were retrospectively analyzed. Results There were one male and four females in this study, with the average age of (63.0±2.4) years, all combined with hypertension. The most common clinical presentations were abnormality of visual perception (5 cases), headache (4 cases), epileptic seizure (4 cases), disturbance of consciousness (3 cases), pathological reflex (2 cases) and hemiplegia (2 cases). CT scan showed 4 cases with low density lesions. MR1 scan showed 5 cases with occipital lobe lesions, 2 with parietal lobe lesions and 1 with temporal lobe lesions. Re-examination of CT scans showed that 4 survived patients became normal at mean (48.8±29.2) days after discharging from hospital. Conclusions The etiologies of RPLS are diverse. The vasogenic theory is supported by neuroimage of RPLS. Neuroimage may be very important for the diagnosis of RPLS. Diffusion-weighted imaging and apparent diffusion coefficient map may be helpful for differential diagnosis between RPLS and cerebral infarct.

Objective To explore a practical teaching curriculum system which effectively improved the humanities quality in traditional Chinese medical science (TCM) among nursing students. Methods The periods at school of students were divided into three stages. This study formulated the goals of nursing practice and development of TCM's humanity along with constructed the practical teaching curriculum system fused TCM humanistic characteristic for nursing students according to the characteristics in each stage. Results The the practical teaching curriculum system fused TCM humanistic characteristic for nursing students could enhance the quality of classroom teaching and the overall teaching effects. It could also improve the professional competence of students and humanities quality of TCM and help to promote the integration of nursing practical teaching and clinic. Conclusions The practical teaching curriculum system fused TCM humanistic characteristic for nursing students is an effective measure to improve the humanistic quality training of nursing students.

Objective:To explore the effect of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) education in the teaching of Comprehensive Nursing Practice course, which is integrated with the concept of social work. Methods:The course of Comprehensive Nursing Practice integrated with the concept of social work was constructed, and two classes of Batch 2019 nursing undergraduates in our university were selected as the research objects, including 46 students in the control group which took traditional teaching, and the other 43 students in the research group which took STEM teaching. Both groups were taught for 2 months (28 class hours). The teaching process, teaching summary and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were evaluated. SPSS 25.0 was used for t-test, Chi-square test and rank-sum test. Results:The scores of STEM literacy, practical ability, inquiry consciousness, learning condition, participation and enthusiasm in the research group were higher than those in the control group ( P < 0.05). After teaching, the scores of problem-solving ability, work display and theoretical knowledge of the research group were higher than those of the control group ( P<0.05). The students in the research group were more satisfied with teaching than those in the control group ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The construction of Comprehensive Nursing Practice course with the concept of social work and the application of STEM education can improve students' learning ability, learning effect and their satisfaction with the course teaching.

? Objective? To explore the effects of group intervention model based on self-disclosure theory on burden of main caregivers among stroke patients. Methods? From January 2015 to January 2016, we selected 60 main caregivers of stroke inpatients from Department of Neurology and Neurological Rehabilitation in Seventh People's Hospital of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine as subjects by convenience sampling. All of the patients were divided into observation group and control group according to the admission time, 30 cases in each group. Observation group received group intervention model based on self-disclosure theory. Control group carried out routine nursing instruction. Burden and life quality were evaluated with the Zarit Caregiver Burden Interview (ZBI) and World Health Organzation Quality of Life Assessment Instrument Brief Version (WHOQOL-BREF) before and five weeks after intervention. Results? There were statistical differences in the total score of ZBI and the scores of two dimensions (personal burden and responsibility burden) of main caregivers of stroke patients in observation group before and after intervention (P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in the total score of ZBI and the scores of two dimensions (personal burden and responsibility burden) of main caregivers of stroke patients in control group before and after intervention (P>0.05). The differences in the total score of ZBI and the scores of two dimensions of main caregivers of stroke patients were statistical between two groups after intervention (P<0.05). There were statistical differences in the total score of WHOQOL-BREF and the scores of two dimensions (psychology and social relations) in observation group before and after intervention (P<0.05). There were statistical differences in the total score of WHOQOL-BREF and the scores of social relations in control group before and after intervention (P< 0.05). There were statistical differences in the total score and scores of physiology, psychology and social relations between two groups before and after intervention (P< 0.05). Conclusions? The application of group intervention model based on self-disclosure theory in main caregivers of stroke patients can effectively reduce caregivers burden and improve their quality of life.

Objective:To understand the clinical application status of evidence of foot nursing education in high-risk diabetic patients, analyze the obstacle factors and formulate intervention strategies, so as to provide reference for the transformation of evidence-based evidence into clinical practice. Methods:From April to June 2019, a total of 12 nurses and 49 high-risk diabetic foot patients in Department of Endocrinology in Longhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as research objects by the convenient sampling method. A total of 15 pieces of evidence of foot nursing education for high-risk diabetic foot patients were introduced. 10 review indicators were formulated to carry out clinical status review according to the evidence and obstacle factor analysis was carried out according to the review results. Results:The clinical compliance rate of the 10 review indicators was 0-43%, of which the standardized scores of foot care knowledge, belief and behavior in high-risk diabetic foot patients were 68.32%, 61.00% and 59.44%, respectively. The standardized scores of foot nursing knowledge, belief and behavior were 75.97%, 54.17% and 52.78%, respectively. The main obstacle factors included lack of evidence-based nursing practice plan for high-risk diabetic nursing education, lack of introduction of high-risk diabetic foot screening tools, lack of multi-disciplinary foot nursing education, single form of health education, low level of knowledge, faith and practice of nurses' foot nursing education, lack of training and lack of attention by nurses to effect evaluation. Conclusions:Evidence of foot nursing education in high-risk diabetic foot patients has not been effectively translated into clinical practice. Evidence-based practice programs should be constructed according to intervention strategies to shorten the gap between clinical practice and evidence.
