1.The role news media play in constructing humonious doctor-patient relationship
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(05):-
In order to construct humonious doctor-patient relationship, news media are supposed to fulfill the following tasks: to cover the issues in medical field fairly and objectively,to popularize medical science and public health,to reveal the truth about issues concerning doctor-patient relation and balance the relationship between positive reports and negative reports.

Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2009;28(5):374-376
Objective To explore the relationship between cognitive impairment and arterial stiffness in elderly patients. Methods A total of 142 elderly patients were enrolled. Cognitive function was assessed by mini-mental state examination (MMSE) and arterial stiffness was assessed by pulse wave velocity (PWV). A full score on the MMSE was 30, and cognitive impairment was defined as a score less than 24. All subjects underwent the measurement of PWV and MMSE . The subjects were divided into 2 groups: 93 were assigned to the normal cognitive function group (MMSE score 24), and the remainders (n=49) were assigned to the cognitive impairment group (MMSE score 24). Results The PWV was significantly increased in the cognitive impairment group than in the normal cognitive function group [(13.3±2.4) m/s vs. (11.8±2.2) m/s, t=3. 775, P=0. 000]. Logistic regression analysis showed that the PWV was also independently and significantly associated with the MMSE score. Conclusions The increase of arterial stiffness is an important risk factor for impaired cognitive function in elderly patients.
4. Progress in the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis
International Journal of Pediatrics 2019;46(11):785-789
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic immune-mediated disease of the central nervous system. There is increasing incidence of MS globally, and the incidence of pediatric MS is relatively low.Environment and genetics both contribute to the causes of MS, while the specific etiology is unknown.MS is characterized by dissemination in time(DIT) and dissemination in space(DIS). Pathology is progressive since first attack, and the treatment is progressive even for a lifetime. The McDonald MS criteria was revised again in 2017 for diagnosing this disease earlier.Several drugs have been developed in recent years, and some drugs have guide of children dosage. However, treatment for children is still off-label.This article introduces the epidemiology, etiology, clinical presentation and pathology of MS.
5.The contemplation of human nature in human genetic enhancement
Chinese Medical Ethics 2024;37(10):1154-1159
How to understand human nature is the core issue of human genetic enhancement ethics. If human genetic enhancement is reasonably applied, from the perspective of human natural attributes,it can enhance their immunity, thereby better resisting the invasion of diseases, making their bodies healthier, physically stronger, and more conducive to adapting to the natural environment. It can also enable them to have stronger memory and cognitive abilities. In terms of human social attributes, human genetic enhancement can enrich their social relationships, make social relationships more harmonious, and be conducive to free and comprehensive development of individuals. If human genetic enhancement is abused,it may create new species that are completely different from human or even hostile species,as well as lead to the confusion of human family ethical relationships and the alienation of human interaction relationships.Human nature has set the feasible limitations for the development of human genetic enhancement technology, and the direction of the development of human gene enhancement technology should be guided by the liberation of human nature.

Objective:To explore the effect of "Internet +" nursing clinic in delivery women during puerperium period. Methods:From January to December 2021, 1000 delivery women in the Tianjin Medical University General Hospital were selected as the study objects by convenience sampling. The subjects were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 500 cases in each group. The control group took routine discharge education and traditional telephone follow-up, and the observation group provided online health guidance to the delivery women through the Careate Q medical platform on the basis of the control group. The incidence of adverse health conditions of the two groups of delivery women and newborns was compared. Results:The incidence of breast-feeding difficulties, abnormal lochia, wound pain, and emotional depression of delivery women during puerperium period in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . After 6 weeks of discharge, the score of self-management ability of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.01) . The incidence of neonatal umbilical infection, delayed umbilical cord shedding, defecation and skin abnormalities in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.01) . The satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference ( P<0.01) . Conclusions:The "Internet +" nursing clinic can effectively reduce the incidence of adverse health conditions of delivery women and newborn, improve the satisfaction of delivery women, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics of children with head and neck rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) and to summarize the mid-long term efficacy of Beijing Children′s Hospital Rhabdomyosarcoma 2006 (BCH-RMS-2006) regimen and China Children′s Cancer Group Rhabdomyosarcoma 2016 (CCCG-RMS-2016) regimen. Methods:A retrospective cohort study. Clinical data of 137 children with newly diagnosed head and neck RMS at Beijing Children′s Hospital, Capital Medical University from March 2013 to December 2021 were collected. Clinical characteristic of patients at disease onset and the therapeutic effects of patients treated with the BCH-RMS-2006 and CCCG-RMS-2016 regimens were compared. The treatments and outcomes of patients with recurrence were also summarized. Survival analysis was performed by Kaplan-Meier method, and Log-Rank test was used for comparison of survival rates between groups. Results:Among 137 patients, there were 80 males (58.4%) and 57 females (41.6%), the age of disease onset was 59 (34, 97) months. The primary site in the orbital, non-orbital non-parameningeal, and parameningeal area were 10 (7.3%), 47 (34.3%), and 80 (58.4%), respectively. Of all patients, 32 cases (23.4%) were treated with the BCH-RMS-2006 regimen and 105 (76.6%) cases were treated with the CCCG-RMS-2016 regimen. The follow-up time for the whole patients was 46 (20, 72) months, and the 5-year progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) rates for the whole children were (60.4±4.4)% and (69.3±4.0)%, respectively. The 5-year OS rate was higher in the CCCG-RMS-2016 group than in BCH-RMS-2006 group ((73.0±4.5)% vs. (56.6±4.4)%, χ2=4.57, P=0.029). For the parameningeal group, the 5-year OS rate was higher in the CCCG-RMS-2016 group (61 cases) than in BCH-RMS-2006 group (19 cases) ((57.3±7.6)% vs. (32.7±11.8)%, χ2=4.64, P=0.031). For the group with meningeal invasion risk factors, the 5-year OS rate was higher in the CCCG-RMS-2016 group (54 cases) than in BCH-RMS-2006 group (15 cases) ((57.7±7.7)% vs. (30.0±12.3)%, χ2=4.76, P=0.029). Among the 10 cases of orbital RMS, there was no recurrence. In the non-orbital non-parameningeal RMS group (47 cases), there were 13 (27.6%) recurrences, after re-treatment, 7 cases survived. In the parameningeal RMS group (80 cases), there were 40 (50.0%) recurrences, with only 7 cases surviving after re-treatment. Conclusions:The overall prognosis for patients with orbital and non-orbital non-parameningeal RMS is good. However, children with parameningeal RMS have a high recurrence rate, and the effectiveness of re-treatment after recurrence is poor. Compared with the BCH-RMS-2006 regimen, the CCCG-RMS-2016 regimen can improve the treatment efficacy of RMS in the meningeal region.
