Objective:The experimental allergic encephalomyelitis(EAE) is the most suitable animal model for investigation in the pathogenesis and the treatment of EAE.The expressions of ICAM-1,VCAM-1 in Wistar rat brain of acute EAE were investigated to study the mechanism and significance of their expressions in EAE rat brain.Methods:All experimental Wistar rats were inoculated intradermally in feet with emulsion contained guinea pig spinal cord homogenate and complete Freund’s adjuvant.The clinical manifestation and the pathological changes were observed with the aid of light and electron microscope to check the successful establishment of the model.The expressions of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 were detected by the method of immunohistochemisty.The results of their expressions were compared by T test with controls.Results:Significant difference was found between the experimental group and the controul group in the expressions of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 ( P

An integration of British healthcare and social services has been underway in recent years, and a typical methodology has been formed in the process of regional explorations . Using qualitative research methods of on-site observation and in-depth interviews, the paper studies the Care Programme Approach ( CPA) system of mental health and emergency multidisciplinary teams of Oxfordshire, a typical case of the integrated healthcare system re-forms in the British healthcare system. England’s integrated healthcare reforms have placed primary care and commu-nity health services at the center of the healthcare system and have included social services within the system. The ex-periences of multidisciplinary teams, integrated care pathways, personalized care planning and patient involvement and independence from the reforms are worthy subjects of study for China’s own healthcare delivery system reforms.

Molecular imprinted film modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared by electrochemical polymerization of pyrrole with the cyclic voltammetry in the presence of template molecular, salicylic acid. The template molecules were removed from the modified electrode surface by over-oxidized at 1.3V in the solution of 0.2 mol/L Na2HPO4 for 10 min. The modified electrodes can effectively promote electrochemical oxidation process of salicylic acid in the surface of electrode and avoid interference of structural similar substance such as benzoic acid. Cyclic voltammetry was employed in the electrochemical measurements. The experimental results show that the optimum acidity of background solution is pH 6.86 and the optimum incubation is 10 min. The linear response curve was obtained from 1.0×10-6 mol/L to 2.0×10-3 mol/L, with the detection limit of 8.0×10-7 mol/L. The imprinted electrode has been applied to the analysis of salicylic acid in the simulated samples with recovery rates ranging from 94.6% to 103.4%.

Methods Clinical data of 8656 pregnant women who had antenatal care and delivered in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the First Hospital of Peking University from Jan 1995 to Mar 2001 were retrospectively analyzed. Objective To investigate the scavenging abilities of ginkgo albumin to reactive oxygen in vitro, as well as the protection and mechanism of ginkgo albumin on damaged DNA. Methods Lotus Seedpod Procyanidin (LSPC) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) were used as control sample, the effect of ginkgo albumin on removal of superoxide anion was determined by Pyrogallol-Luminol system. Scavenging ability of ginkgo albumin on hydroxide free radical was determined by CuSO4-Phen-Vc-H2O2, FeSO4-Luminol-H2O2, and FeSO4-Luminol systems. Luminol-H2O2 system was used to measure the scavenging effect on hydrogen peroxide. Preventive effect of ginkgo albumin on in vitro damaged DNA was determined by CuSO4-Phen-Vc-H2O2-DNA system. Results Ginkgo albumin possessed a good scavenging potency on reactive oxygen and protection on damaged DNA, but promoted oxidation in the FeSO4-Luminol-H2O2 and Luminol-H2O2 chemiluminescence systems. Conclusion Not every chemiluminescences system is suitable for investigating the antioxidant activity of ginkgo albumin.

Objective To establish the reference intervals of total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),high density lipoprotein (HDL-C)and low density lipoprotein (LDL-C)in the healthy population in Hengshui region.Methods 16 403 healthy individuals were collected from the various counties and cities in this region and detected the above 4 blood lipid indexes (TC,TG,HDL-C, LDL-C)by adopting the automatic biochemical analyzer.The subjects were grouped according to different genders and ages and the detection results were performed the statistical analysis.Results TC 3.17-7.20 mmol/L;TG 0.08-3.16 mmol/L;HDL-C 0.94-2.30 mmol/L;LDL-C 1 .14 -4.59 mmol/L.Conclusion The differences of blood lipid detection results exist in males and fe-males in Hengshui region,the results are different among different age groups,it is suggested that different genders and different age groups should establish their own normal reference intervals in order to provide the diagnostic basis for clinic.

A total of 160 elderly patients with Ⅰ -Ⅲ essential hypertension were enrolled in the study and examined with high-frequency color Doppler ultrasonography (America ATL Company HDI3500 type color ultrasonoscope). Common carotid artery (CCA), internal carotid artery and external carotid artery (ECA) were detected, including carotid artery intima-media thickness (CAIMT) and hemodynamic index. Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of immediate-effect moxibustion combined with massage for the treatment of knee stiffness after knee ligament reconstruction surgery.Methods A total of 138 patients after knee ligament reconstruction surgery were randomly divided into control group and observation group,69 cases in each group.The control group received joint rehabilitation therapy,which included TDP light radiation,joint exercise by continuous passive motion apparatus,contraction and relaxation of quadriceps femoris muscle and ankle pump.The treatment group was given immediate-effect moxibustion combined with massage based on the treatment for the control group.The treatment lasted from postoperative day 3 to 14.Before and after treatment,Lysholm knee joint scores,joint activity scores and activities of daily living(ADL) scores of the two groups were observed.Results After treatment,the Lysholm knee joint scores,joint activity scores and ADL scores of the two group were obviously increased (P ＜ 0.05 or P ＜ 0.01 compared with those before treatment),and the increase in the observation groups was superior to that in the control group,the differences of the alove indexes except for joint activity scores being statistically significant between the two groups (P ＜ 0.05 or P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Immediate-effect moxibustion combined with massage is effective on preventing knee from postoperative ankylosis after knee ligament reconstruction surgery.

Objective To explore psychological resilience, anxiety, depression, coping styles and social supports status among parents of preterm infants of ophthalmic clinic, and analyze their relationship. Methods A total of 217 parents of preterm infants at ophthalmic clinic of hospital were selected by convenience sampling method and investigated by self- designed general information questionnaire, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, Self-rating Anxiety Scale, Self-rating Depression Scale, Social Support Rating Scale, and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire. Results The total score of psychological resilience was (67.48 ± 14.20) points. The average score of positive coping styles dimension was (1.98±0.50) points, and negative coping style dimension score was (1.19±0.55) points. The social support score was moderate with a total score of (42.75 ± 6.17) points, the anxiety and depression got a total score of (36.77 ± 8.17) points and (39.67 ± 9.02) points respectively. Psychological resilience was negatively correlated with anxiety and depression (r=-0.363--0.242, P<0.01), and was positively correlated with coping styles and the social support (r=0.141-0.312, P<0.05 or 0.01). Multi-factor linear regression analysis showed that depression and social support were the influence factors of psychological resilience(t=-4.376, 2.516, P<0.01 or 0.05). Conclusions The parents of preterm infants are at the poor psychological states. Coping styles and depression are the important factors which affect psychological resilience among parents of preterm infants. Nurses should assess the psychological status of the parents, provide targeted interventions to relieve stress, guide the parents use social support effectively, and improve their psychological state.

Objective To explore the relationship between chromosomal abnormalities and abnormal pregnancy .Methods Chro‐mosomal karyotypes were examined in 766 pairs of couples with adverse pregnancy history from 2011 January to December by pe‐riphery blood lymphocyte culture and carried out G banding .Results The detection of 86 cases of patients with abnormal chromo‐somes ,chromosome abnormality rate was 5 .61% ;Among them ,1 cases of abnormal autosomal chromosome number ,67 cases of ab‐normal structure;Sex chromosome abnormality in 5 cases ,13 cases of abnormal structure .Conclusion Description of chromosome abnormalities and abnormal pregnancy is closely related ,The carriers of the couple should have prenatal diagnosis to avoid chromo‐some patients is born .
