Objective To investigate the serum level of interleukin-10(IL-10)and interleukin-18(IL-18)and its clinical significance in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods The serum level of IL-10and IL-18 of 71 SLE patients(the active group 51 patients and stable group 20 patients)and 30 normal controls were measured by ELISA.Results The serum IL-10 and IL-18 level of the active SLE patients[(49.4±12.2)、(423.7+40.8)ng/L]were significantly higher than that of the stable SLE patients[(20.3±8.7);(241.6 ±29.1)ng/L]and control[(13.2±4.8);(150.3±21.6)ng/L](all P＜0.01).Conclusion IL-10 and IL-18 may play an important role in the pathogenesis of SLE and may be of useful clinical value in judsing SLE disease activity and its treatment.

ObjectiveTo analyze hospital isolated from 371 acinetobacter baumannii the distribution of the infection characteristics and drug resistance.MethodsOf the first people's hospital of Kaifeng the samples of isolated 371 acinetobacter baumannii was selected,according to thenational clinical laboratory operating procedures,the third edition of the conventional culture isolation,identification of bacteria using the French company bioMérieux VITEK-32 microbial automatic analyzer and GNI + cards for identification.France bioMérieux VITEK2 using automated microbial analysis system and supporting the identification and drug Minka for bacterial identification and susceptibility testing ( MIC method),drug susceptibility results in the standard to judge by CLSI2006.Using the World Health Organization drug monitoring network provided WHONET 5.0 software for data analysis.Results315 sputum detected,accounting for 84.9％ ; pleural effusion 32,8.6％ ;pus 21,5.7％ ;urine 3,0.8％.Respiratory Medicine,124,33.4％ ;Geriatrics 81,21.8％.Of acinetobacter baumannii resistance to minocycline was the lowest (3％),the highest resistance to azithromycin( 100％ ).ConclusionThe pan-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii,minocycline as a drug of choice,imipenem could be used as first-line drugs.

Objective To study the clinical value of combined detection of tissue polypeptide antigen(TPA) and human epididymal secretory protein 4 (HE4) in the diagnosis and disease monitoring for ovarian epithelial cancer.Methods 82 cases with epithelial ovarian cancer were enrolled in ovarian cancer group,93 cases with benign ovarian lesions were selected as the benign ovarian lesions group,100 healthy people were selected as the control group.Serum TPA and HE4 were detected by ELISA.Results TPA-positive rates in the ovarian cancer group,benign ovarian lesions group and control group were 70.7％,8.6％ and 2.0％,respectively.The TPA-positive rate of ovarian cancer group was higher than benign ovarian lesions group and control group (x2 =33.69,82.95,all P ＜ 0.01).But the difference was not statistically significant between the benign ovarian lesions group and the control group(x2 =3.80,P ＞ 0.05).HE4 positive rates of the ovarian cancer group,benign ovarian lesions group and control group were 82.9％,11.8％,3.0％.The HE4 positive rate of ovarian cancer group was higher than benign ovarian lesions group and control group (x2 =36.72,78.33,all P ＜ 0.01).But the difference was not statistically significant between the benign ovarian lesions group and the control group(x2 =3.28,P ＞ 0.05).The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of TPA in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer were 70.7 ％,95.2％,88.7％.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of HE4 in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer were 82.9 ％,97.2％,92.8％.Conclusion TPA and HE4 can improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

Objective To study the correlation of homocysteine(Hcy),S100B and nerve function in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods Eighty-six patients with acute cerebral infarction were enrolled into the observation group and eighty-five healty people were enrolled into the control group.The Hcy,S100B and nerve function were detected.Results The Hcy and S100B in the observation group were higher than in the control group(all P ＜0.01).The score of nerve function in the observation group was (19.29 ± 10.27),which has a positive correlation with Hcy(r=0.2793,P＜0.05) and a positive correlation with S100B(r =0.4017,P＜0.05).Conclusion The Hcy and S100B in patients with acute cerebral infarction can be seemed as a marker of severity of the disease.

Objective To evaluate the platelet function in the patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) ,to explore the correlations between Hcy and folic acid(FA)with mean platelet volume(MPV) and platelet distribution width(PDW) ,and to evalu-ate the application value of above indicators in predicting RSA .Methods Twenty-eight cases of RSA ,40 cases of healthy pregnancy and 50 healthy child-bearing women(control group) in our hospital were selected .The detection indicators included peripheral blood Hcy ,FA ,PLT ,MPV and PDW .Results The PLT and FA levels in the patients group were significantly lower compared with the normal pregnancy group and control group(P<0 .01) ,while the Hcy ,PDW and MPV were increased(P<0 .05);the various indica-tors had no statistically significant difference between the normal pregnancy group and control group (P>0 .05) .Blood Hcy was negatively correlated with PLT and FA ;Hcy and FA were negatively correlated in the normal pregnancy group ,other indicators had no obvious correlation(P>0 .05) .Conclusion The Hcy metabolism abnormality ,platelet parameter changes and their interactions may be related to RSA .The combined detection of Hcy ,FA and platelet parameters has a certain clinical significance to early diag-nosis and treatment of RSA .

AIM: To investigate the effect of adrenomedullin on the fibrogenic action of TGF? 1 and the cellular mechanism in renal tubular epithelial cell line (HK-2). METHODS: Total collagen synthesis and secretion were reflected by -proline incorporation and the radioactivity of -hydroproline in the culture medium; ELISA method was used to detect the level of secreted fibronectin (FN); the expression of FN mRNA, collagen IV mRNA and TIMP-1mRNA were determined by RT-PCR; western blot was used to detect the expression of Smad2 and Smad6 proteins. RESULTS: (1) AM could antagonize the expression of collagen and FN stimulated by TGF? 1 in both transcription and translation level; (2) AM down-regulated the TGF? 1-induced TIMP-1 mRNA expression; (3) AM had no effect on the over-expression of Smad2 stimulated by TGF? 1; but could up-regulate the expression of Smad6 inhibited by TGF? 1. CONCLUSION: AM could antagonize the fibrogenic effect of TGF? 1 through up-regulating Smad6 expression in HK-2 cell line.

ObjectiveTo explore the infulence and to look for an optimal management of delayed meconium exclusion to the premature infant,in order to offer the dependence of diminished neonatal complications.Methods 23 premature infants with delayed meconium were randomly assigned into treatment group and control group.12 premature infants with normal meconium were selected as a normal group.Using the 6F silicone rubber stomach tube help the premature infants exclusing meconium by high-frequency ultrasound in treatment group.2-3ml glycerin mixed with 10-20ml warmed normal saline was given every two days or when vomit,abdominal distension appeared in control group.ResultsThere are no significant differences in serum bilirubin level,recovering days of weight,occurence rate of vomiting,abdominal distension between the treatment group and the normal premature infants group (P ＞ 0.05 ).Oppositively,there were significant differences between the control group and the treatment group ( all P ＜ 0.01).ConclusionUsing high-frequency ultrasound to treat the delay meconium exclusion is an optimal management,it may reduce the complications and recovery the weight of the premature infants with delayed meconium exclusions.

Objective: To analyse the behavioral problems of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.Methods: 70 boys fulfilled ADHD criteria of DSM-IV were further divided into 3 subtypes: predominantly inattentive(PI,44 cases),predominantly hyperactive-impulsive(HI,6 cases) and combined type(CT,20 cases).Compare the behavioral problems of subtypes of ADHD and 63 normal children.Results: The incidence of behavioral problems in boys with ADHD(48.57%) was significantly higher than that in control group(12.70%),and significant differences in incidence of behavioral problems were found among the three subtypes of ADHD.ADHD CT subtype had the highest rate of behavioral problems.PI subtype had more fissility than HI;CT and HI subtypes had more aggressive behaviors,and HI had more delinquence than PI and CT.Conclusion: Boys with ADHD had more behavioral problems than normal ones.CT subtype had the highest rate.The characteristics of behaviors were different among three subtypes.
