Objective To explore the activation of circulating platelet in patients with cerebral infarction(CI) and its correlation with CI.Methods The fibrinogen receptor(FIB-R) and P-selectin were used as molecular marker of circulating platelets, which were analyzed by flow cytometry in 80 healthy persons and 127 CI patients in acute and rehabinating period.Results The FIB-R expression on circulating platelet of CI patients in dangerous period was significantly higher than that in steady period and healthy persons(P0.05).Conclusion The activation of circulating platelet has a close relationship with CI. FIB-R may be a sensitive molecular marker of circulating activated platelet. It will help to evaluate the severe extent of CI and give an anti-platelet treatment as soon as possible to improve the prognosis of CI through monitoring the FIB-R of CI patients successively.

A novel method based on cross sensitivity of cataluminescence (CTL) generated on the surface of a nanometer composite oxide was proposed for simultaneous determination of benzene and trimethylamine (TMA) in air. A variety of nanometer composite oxides based on Y2 O3 that showed catalytic activity to many gas molecules were synthesized. For the fabrication of the detector, nanometer composite oxide was directly coated on the ceramic rod to form a 0. 1-0. 15 mm thick layer. The ceramic rod with nanometer composite oxide was inserted into a quartz tube with an inner diameter of 10 mm. The temperature of nanometer composite oxide was controlled by the digital heater. When gas samples passed through the nanometer composite oxide in the quartz tube by the air flow, the CTL was generated during the catalytic oxidation on the surface of the nanometer composite oxide. The CTL signals were respectively recorded by two ultra weak chemiluminescence analyzers. The CTL intensity and selectivity for the determination of benzene and TMA on nano- Zr3 Y2 O9 which was characterized by TEM were bigger and better than those on other nanosized composite oxides. The optimum experimental conditions were tested. Selective determination was achieved at a wavelength of 440 nm for benzene and 540 nm for TMA. The surface temperature of the nanometer materials was about 313 ℃. The flow rate of air carrier was about 140 mL/ min. The limit of detection of this method was 0. 30 mg / m3 for benzene at 440 nm and 0. 70 mg / m3 for TMA at 540 nm. The linear range of CTL intensity versus concentration of benzene at 440 nm was 0. 8-105. 0 mg / m3 , benzene at 540 nm was 3. 0-130. 0 mg / m3 , TMA at 440 nm was 2. 5-232. 0 mg / m3 and TMA at 540 nm was 1. 2-156. 0 mg / m3 . The recovery of 5 testing standard samples by this method was 96. 8% -102. 3% for benzene and 97. 6% -103. 4%for TMA. Common coexistence matters, such as formaldehyde, ethanol, acetone, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide, did not disturb the determination. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of CTL signals of a continuous 200 h detection of gas mixture of 50 mg / m3 benzene and 50 mg / m3 TMA was 2. 0% , which demonstrated the longevity and steady performance of nano-Zr3 Y2 O9 to benzene and TMA under this experimental conditions.

Objective To analyze the clinical features of 35 patients with Silver-Russell syndrome (SRS) in Beijing Children's Hospital in recent 6 years,and to recognize the clinical manifestations and improve the diagnosis of the disease.Methods The diagnostic criteria of SRS were studied retrospectively,the differences among 3 different diagnostic criteria were compared.Results Thirty-five SRS patients were diagnosed by means of 3 criteria,over a period from 2006 to 2012.There were 23 males and 12 females,with age range 0.08 ～ 12.15 yr.77 ％ of cases met the three criteria,97％ met two of the three criteria.There were dwarfism in 33 cases (94.2％),genital abnormalities in 1 case (2.9％),and asymmetry of limbs in 1 case (2.9％).The clinical characteristics with the frequencies accounting for over 80％ included short stature (average height-3.61 SDS),leanness (body mass index ＜-2.11SDS),bone dysmorphism including triangular face,irregular teeth,asymmetry of limbs,clinodactyly of fifth finger,and bone age obviously lagged behind.60％ of the cases showed bone age lagging behind more than 1 year.Height lagging behind was more obviously then bone age.Conclusions The diagnosis of SRS is mainly based on Clinical manifestation,laboratory and biochemical examinations are of no avail.There is a high coincidence with the 3 different diagnostic criteria.Clinical features in more than 80％ patients with SRS are short stature,craniofacial triangular dysmorphism,irregular teeth,limbs asymmetry and fifth finger clinodactyly,and mild lagging behind of bone age.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the recent use of immunosuppressive agents for renal transplantation patients during our hospital.METHODS:Case history of124renal transplantation patients in our hospital in2004was reviewed ret-rospectively,and the categories and the associated costs of immunosuppressive agents were statistically analyzed,which were compared with that of2000.RESULTS:In2004,patients’mean hospitalization cost was74462.77yuan and mean immuno-suppressive agents cost was25809.93yuan,increased by75.12%and175.35%,respectively as compared to2000.Of the total drug costs,the immunosuppressive agents accounted for61.37%in2004and46.4%in2000.Dominated the first3places in the list of DDDs of immunosuppressive agents in2004were Methylprednisolone,ciclosporin A and dehydrocortisone,respec-tively.CONCLUSIONS:As compared with2000,the application categories and costs of neotype immunosuppressive agents for renal transplantation patients in our hospital increased in2004,thus to find a more effective immunosuppressive remedy that of less adverse drug reaction and lower cost is of great significance.

Objective To investigate factors with pelvic adhesions and the effect of different degrees pelvic adhesions on fallopian tube recanalization in infertile patients.Methods Total of 527 infertile patients undergoing hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgery in Affiliated Hospital of Chinese People's Armed Police Forccs Logistics College were studied retrospectively.According to the extent of pelvic adhesions,tubal umbrella adhesions and atresia,377 cases were classified into adhesion groups,including 73 cases in grade Ⅰ,221 cases in grade Ⅱ,75 cases in grade Ⅲ and 8 cases in grade Ⅳ based on adhesion score.The 150 cases with no obvious pelvic adhesion were matched as control group.Among 8 cases with grade Ⅳ ahesion were exluded from ahesion group the relationship between pelvic adhesions and related history,abdominal lesions,tubal patency and the prognosis were studied.Results(1)Related factors:the frequency of pelvic adhesion and more than 7 years of infertility of 23.9％(88/369)in adhesion group were significantly higher than 12.0％(18/150)in control groups.(2)History:compared with the control group(12.7 ％,19/150;28.7％,43/150;11.3％,17/150;12.0％,18/150;17.3％,26/150),patients with pelvic adhesions present more incidence abortion(23.6％,87/369),uterine cavity operation(38.2％,141/369),ectopic pregnancy(20.9％,77/369),pelvic inflammatory disease(25.5％,94/369)and abdominopelvic surgery (31.4％,116/369).(3)Endoscopy exploration:the incidence of hydrosalpinx(24.7％,91/369),tube distorted(15.7％,58/369)and salpingostomy(72.9％,269/369)in adhesion group were higher than those in control group(2.0％,3/150;4.0％,6/150;12.0％,18/150),but relatively lower incidence of pelvic endometriosis lesions(5.7％,21/369)and mesosalpinx cysts(16.3％,60/369)than those in control group(16.0％,24/150;30.0％,45/150).The rate of proximal tubal recanalization(59.5％,91/153)in adhesion group was lower than 75.4％(52/69)in control group.However,the rate of distant tubal recanalization of 84.4％,(281/333)in adhesion group and;13/15 in control group didn't show statistical difference.(4)Prognosis:the rate of ectopic pregnancy of 9.7％(29/299)in adhesion group was significantly higher than 3.1％(4/128)in control group.Among cases with grade Ⅲ adhesion exhibited the highest rate of ectopic pregnancy(13.0％,7/54;OR =4.62,95％ CI:1.29-16.50).(5)Multivariate analysis:it was found that more than two drug abortions(OR =3.29,95％ CI:1.34-8.07),pelvic and (or)abdominal surgery history(OR =2.20,95％ CI:1.35-3.57)and pelvic inflammatory disease history (OR =1.54,95％ CI:1.21-1.97)were risk factors with pelvic adhesions.Conclusion More than or equal to two drug abortion history,pelvic inflammatory disease and pelvic and abdominal surgery damage were important factors for pelvic adhesions of infertility patients,which may decrease the possibility of proximal tubal recanalization and increase ectopic pregnancy risk.

Several key problems were analysed for the transdermal noninvasive glucose monitoring. A modified calibration equation was proposed for the high-sensitivity glucose biosensor due to its narrow linear range. The new equation has increased the sensors' linear range by 20 times. A new diffuse model was constructed for the electrode system of glucose sensor,aiming at the unique "finite space" electrochemical problem in trans-dermal technique. In addition,electrode masks were utilized to solve the problem of electrode loss in longtime glucose monitoring. In animal in-vivo experiments,70.1 % of the noninvasive glucose data points were clinically accurate,while the remains were clinically acceptable. All solutions mentioned above were based on both theoretical analysis and experimental validation,promoting the realization and optimization of transdermal noninvasive glucose monitoring techniques.

Objective To explore the effect of miR-200b on chemosensitivity of cervical cancer HeLa cells to paclitaxel and its mechanism.Methods A recombinant miR-200b mimics was transfected into cultured HeLa cells,which were divided into observation group,negative group,and blank control group.Each group was treated with different concentrations of paclitaxel.Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTF) assay was performed to evalate the proliferative ability of these treated cells to paclitaxel.AnnexinVFITC/PI method was used to detect the apoptosis rate of Hela cells.The protein level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) was detected by Western blot.Results MTT assay showed that the OD values of three groups were totally different;and compared to the other two groups,the OD value of the transfected HeLa cells was significantly lower (P ＜ 0.05).Compared to the negative group and the blank control group,there was no statistical difference (P ＞ 0.05).AnnexinV-FITC/PI results demonstrated that the apoptotic index of the transfected HeLa cells was significantly higher than that in the other two groups (P ＜0.05).Western blot assay showed that expression of VEGF protein in three groups of relative quantity was 0.403 ± 0.046,0.882 ± 0.094,and 0.901 0.102,respectively.There was significant difference among there groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions miR-200b mimics can increase the sensitivity of cervical cancer HeLa cells to paclitaxel,and targeted regulation of VEGF may be the cause of increasing in drug sensitivity.

Objective:To investigate the effects of abdominal Tuina(Chinese therapeutic massage)on behavioral function,5-hydroxytryptamine 1A receptor(5-HT1AR),and synapsin-1(Syn1)in neonatal rats with hypoxic-ischemic brain injuries(HIBI). Methods:Forty healthy neonatal rats,born of 5 specific pathogen-free healthy pregnant rats,were randomly divided into a group for modeling(n=28)and a sham operation group(n=12)on the 7th day of birth.In the group for modeling,24 neonatal rats with HIBI successfully established by the Rice method were randomly divided into a model group(n=12)and an abdominal Tuina group(n=12).The abdominal Tuina group was given abdominal Tuina for 28 d from 24 h after modeling,and the other groups were put under the same conditions but without any treatments.Rats in each group were subjected to suspension tests on the 7th,14th,21st,and 28th days of intervention.After the intervention,the rat hippocampal tissue was collected and stained with hematoxylin-eosin to observe the pathological changes in the rat hippocampal CA1 region.The 5-HT1AR expression in rat hippocampal CA1 region was detected by immune-histochemistry.The Syn1 expression in rat hippocampus was measured by Western blotting method. Results:The cells were disordered,and edema and necrosis appeared in the hippocampal CA1 region of the model group.Cell arrangement was clear,and edema was improved obviously in the hippocampal CA1 region of the abdominal Tuina group.Compared with the sham operation group,the suspension test scores,the number of 5-HT1AR positive cells,and Syn1 protein expression in the hippocampus decreased significantly in the model group after 21 d and 28 d of interventions(P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the suspension test scores,the number of 5-HT1AR positive cells,and Syn1 protein expression increased significantly in the abdominal Tuina group after 21 d and 28 d of interventions(P<0.05). Conclusion:Abdominal Tuina improves the behavioral function of upper limbs and up-regulates the expression levels of 5-HT1AR and Syn1 in the hippocampus of neonatal HIBI rats.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the changes in the renal function of patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) receiving adefovir dipivoxil (ADV) or telbivudine (L-DT) monotherapy.

METHODSThis retrospective analysis involved 101 patients with CHB and liver cirrhosis receiving either ADV or L-DT monotherapy for 52 weeks. Serum creatinine, estimates of glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), and the percentage of patients with eGFR≥90 ml·min(-1)·1.73 m(-2) at week 52 were compared with the baseline data between the two groups.

RESULTSThe mean changes of CR at week 52 from baseline were +0.05 mg/dl in ADV group and -0.12 mg/dl in L-DT group, showing a significant difference between the two groups (P=0.000). No patient was found to have an elevation of creatinine over 0.50 mg/dl. The median change of eGFR at week 52 from baseline differed significantly between ADV and L-DT groups (-4.09 vs+18.32 ml·min(-1)·1.73 m(-2), P=0.000). Ninety-two percent (12/13) of the patients with baseline eGFR<90 ml·min(-1)·1.73 m(-2) shifted to eGFR ≥90 ml·min(-1)·1.73 m(-2) after 52 weeks of L-DT treatment, as compared to 38% (3/8) in ADV group. The proportion of patients with eGFR≥90 ml·min(-1)·1.73 m(-2) in L-DT group increased from 76.36% (42/55) at baseline to 94.55% (52/55) at week 52, while that in ADV group decreased from 82.61% (38/46) at baseline to 78.26% (36/46). The constituent ratios of eGFR at different levels were similar at baseline (P=0.443) but significantly different at week 52 between the two groups (P=0.015).

CONCLUSIONL-DT treatment is associated with a renoprotective effect in patients with CHB, but the mechanism remains unclear.

Objective To design the protection of peritoneal dialysis catheter and solve the problem of broken peritoneal dialysis catheter during clinical use. Methods A total of 94 patients with end-stage renal disease who received newly opened peritoneal dialysis in the Department of Nephrology, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology from January 2016 to December 2017 were selected as research objects. In order of the time of tube opening, 47 patients with singular ordinal number receiving treatment were set as the control group, and 47 patients with even ordinal number receiving treatment were set as the observation group. The patients of control group, using the traditional peritoneal dialysis tube nursing; the patients of observation group, using anti- broken peritoneal dialysis tube for nursing. To observe and compare the incidence of dialysis catheter loosening and breakage during dialysis in the 2 groups of peritoneal dialysis patients, as well as the patient satisfaction. Results The catheter crease deformation of the observation group(0 case) was significantly lower than that of the control group (12 cases), and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=13.610, P<0.05). The total satisfaction of patients in the observation group was 97.87％ (46/47), while that of patients in the control group was 72.34％ (30/47). The total satisfaction rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (χ2=12.086, P<0.01). No leakage occurred in the observation group, which was also significantly lower than that in the control group. However, due to the limited observation time, the number of cases was small without statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusions The improved peritoneal dialysis catheter is more convenient, safe and effective for long-term peritoneal dialysis patients, and it can reduce the incidence of peritonitis associated with peritoneal dialysis catheter, which is worthy of clinical application.
