Objective To investigate the clinical value of para-aortic lymphadenectomy in patients with cervical cancer in stage Ⅰ B2 and Ⅱ A2.Methods One hundred and six patients with cervical cancer in stage Ⅰ B2 and Ⅱ A2 were assigned into two groups:control group(55 patients, radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy) and study group (51 patients, radical hysterectomy, pelvic lymphadenectomy and para-aortic lymphadenectomy).Postoperative radiotherapy or chemotherapy was conducted appropriately.Intraoperative and postoperative characteristics, recurrence rate, survival rate were compared between two groups. Results In study group, the recurrence rate was 15.7 % (8/51),and in control group, the recurrence rate was 38.2%(21/55),there was significant difference (P < 0.05).No significant difference were observed in the complication incidence [27.5% (14/51) vs.30.9% (17/55)],blood loss [(326.1 ± 59.1) ml vs.(316.1 ± 51.2) ml] and pelvic lymph node-positive rate [56.9% (29/51) vs.58.2 % (32/55)](P > 0.05).The incidence of para-aortic lymph node metastasis was 17.6 % (9/51).Positive correlation was observed between the number of the pelvic lymph node metastasis and para-aortic lymph node metastasis (P < 0.01).Conclusions In cervical cancer, the number of the pelvic lymph node metastasis was associated with para-aortic lymph node metastasis, abdominal aortic lymphadenectomy in radical surgery for cervical cancer is safe and feasible and can improve the prognosis of the patients.

Objective:To build an HPLC method for the determination of baicalin and geniposide in Ganxueguanliu Huoxue cap-sules. Methods:An Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 (150 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5μm) column was chosen for the analysis. The mobile phase con-sisted of 0. 2% phosphoric acid (A) and methanol (B) with gradient elution. The flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1. The detection wave-length was set at 238 nm and the column temperature was 25℃. Results:A good linear relationship was observed within the range of 0. 418-8. 360 μg·ml-1 for baicalin (r=0. 999 9) and 0. 226-4. 524μg·ml-1 for geniposide (r=0. 999 9). The average recovery of baicalin and geniposide was 99. 79% (RSD=1. 55%, n=6) and 100. 2%(RSD=2. 05%, n=6), respectively. Conclusion: The method is rapid, convenient and specific, which can be used for the content determination of baicalin and geniposide in Ganxueguanliu Huoxue capsules.

Objective:To establish an HPLC method for the determination of palmatine hydrochloride and berberine hydrochloride in Baishi Shuitiao Powder simultaneously. Methods:A reversed phase ion pair HPLC method was adopted. An Agilent Zorbax SB-C18 (150 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm)column was used, the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0. 1% phosphoric acid (50 :50) (0. 2 g do-decyl sodium sulfate added to 100 ml solution), the flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1, the detection wavelength was at 345 nm, the injec-tion volume was 10 μl, the column temperature was at room temperature. Results: A good linear correlation was observed within the range of 1. 11-22. 16μg·ml-1 for palmatine hydrochloride (r=0. 9996) and 2. 11-42. 24μg·ml-1 for berberine hydrochloride (r=0. 9998). The average recovery was 98. 94% with RSD of 2. 43% for palmatine hydrochloride and 101. 3% with RSD of 2. 05% for berberine hydrochloride (n=6). Conclusion:The method is rapid, simple and accurate, and can be used for the content determina-tion of palmatine hydrochloride and berberine hydrochloride in Baishi Shuitiao Powder.

Objective To investigate the relationship between clinical features and lymph node metastasis in lung adenocarcinoma patients with T1 stage. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 253 T1-stage lung adenocarcinoma patients (92 males and 161 females at an average age of 59.45±9.36 years), who received lobectomy and systemic lymph node dissection in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University from October 2013 to February 2016. Results Lymph node metastasis was negative in 182 patients (71.9%) and positive in 71 (28.1%). Poor differentiation (OR=6.988, P=0.001), moderate differentiation (OR=3.589, P=0.008), micropapillary type (OR=24.000, P<0.001), solid type (OR=5.080, P=0.048), pleural invasion (OR=2.347, P=0.024), age≤53.5 years (OR=2.594, P=0.020) were independent risk factors for lymph node metastasis. In addition, in the tumor with diameter≥1.55 cm (OR=0.615, P=0.183), although the cut-off value of 1.55 cm had no significant difference, it still suggested that tumor diameter was an important risk factor of lymph node metastasis. Conclusion In lung adenocarcinoma with T1 stage, the large tumor diameter, the low degree of differentiation, the high ratio of consolidation, and the micropapillary or solid pathological subtypes are more prone to have lymph node metastasis.
