A total of 116 hospitalized patients between May 2006 and March 2012 were divided into observation(n =39),treatment control (n =41) and blank control group (n =36).All groups received standard doses of chemotherapy with 5-fluorouracil.Patients in observation group received a daily intravenous infusion of 100 mg magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate plus chemotherapy while those in the treatment control group a daily 1.2 g reduced glutathione intravenous infusion plus chemotherapy.And the blank control group accepted chemotherapy alone.The parameters of liver function,including aspartate aminotransferase,alkaline phosphatase,gamma glutamyl transferase,lactate dehydrogenase,total bilirubin and albumin,were recorded and compared at Week 1.No significantly difference in the above parameters was found in observation group(P ＞ 0.05).However,in treatment control and blank control groups,significant statistical differences existed in some of the parameters (P ＜ 0.05).Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate is an efficient protector of liver function for patients on chemotherapy with 5-fluorouracil.

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and adverse effects of pegaspargase (PEGASP) and L-asparaginase (L-ASP) in the treatment of NK/T-cell lymphoma.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 46 patients with NK/T-cell lymphoma in Department of Oncology of Hospital of Qingdao Commercial Staff from September 2009 to July 2015.There were 24 patients treated by PEG-ASP combined with GDP (gemcitabine + cisplatin + dexamethasone) as PEG-ASP group,and 22 patients treated by L-ASP combined with GDP as L-ASP group.The efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results In the PEG-ASP group,there were 11 patients with complete remission,7 patients with partial remission,and the complete remission rate and objective response rate were 45.83％ and 75.00％.In the L-ASP group,there were 9 patients with complete remission,6 patients with partial remission,and the complete remission rate and objective response rate were 40.91％ and 68.18％.There was no significant difference between the two groups in objective response rate (x2 =0.263,P =0.608).Adverse effects such as myelosuppression (25.00％ vs.22.73％,x2 =0.033,P =0.857),coagulopathy (8.33％ vs.9.10％,x2=0.008,P =0.927),liver and renal dysfunction (8.33％ vs.18.18％,x2 =0.982,P=0.322),gastrointestinal reaction (41.67％ vs.40.91％,x2 =0.003,P =0.958) were similar in the PEGASP group and L-ASP group.But the risk of allergic reaction incurred by PEG-ASP was much lower than L-ASP (4.17％ vs.36.36％),with a significant difference (x2 =7.561,P =0.006).Moreover,the PEGASP group had a shorter duration of hospitalization [(10.04 ± 1.63) d] than the L-ASP group [(13.09 ± 2.76)d],with a significant difference (t=-4.612,P=0.000).Conclusion The efficacy of PEG-ASP and L-ASP in the treatment of NK/T-cell lymphoma is similar,but the rate of allergic reaction of patients treated with PEG-ASP is significantly lower,and the hospitalization time is significantly shorter,which is worthy of further clinical application.

Objective To study the effect and mechanism of polypeptide from Chlamys farreri(PCF) on the thymocytes damaged by 60Co γ-rays. Methods The ceils were randomly divided into six groups: control group, 60Co groups (2 Gy, model),60Co + 0.5% PCF, 60Co+ 0.25% PCF, 60Co + 0.125% PCF, 60Co +0.1% VitC. The concentration of GSH-Px, ROS, A-SAC, T-AOC and the cells' viability were determined. The mitochondria membrane potential were tested. The expressions of P53, Bax and Bel-2 proteins were examined.Results The activities f GSH-Px, A-SAC, T-AOC in cells were enhanced, and the amounts of ROS were decreased by PCF. The expression of Bcl-2 gene was up-regulated, and down-regulated for the expression of P53 and Bax. All observed indexes of the PCF groups were significantly different compared with model group (P <0.05). Conclusions PCF has the protective effects on damages of thymocytes caused by 60Co irradiation. The mechanisms might be related to inhibiting of lymphocyte apoptosis and enhancing the activities of lymphocytes.

Objective To investigate the clinical curative effects and side effects of concurrent radiotherapy combined with interventional artery infusion chemotherapy in advanced cervical carcinoma.Methods 48 patients with advanced cervical carcinoma were randomly divided into two groups including concurrent radiotherapy combied with interventional artery.infusion ehemotherapy group (25 patients) and radiotherapy group (23 patients).Each patient in the concurrent radiotherapy combined with interventional artery infusion chemotherapy group was given THP,DDP and 5-Fu,repeatedly every 28 days,total 3-4 cycles.Radiotherapy was given at the same time.Results The effective rates of the concurrent radiotherapy combined with interventional artery infusion chemotherapy group and radiotherapy group were 92.0 ％ (23/25)and 69.6 ％ (16/23),respectively.The overall 3 year survival rates for the patients in concurrent radiotherapy eombined with interventional artery infusion chemotherapy group and radiotherapy group were 80.0 ％ (20/25)and 52.2 ％ (12/23),respectively,and there was statistically significant between the 2 groups (all P ＜ 0.05).No more side effects were found in the concurrent radiotherapy combined interventional artery infusion chemotherapy group (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Concurrent radiotherapy combined with interventional artery infusion chemotherapy in advanced cervical carcinoma can increase short term therapeutic effect and improve the survival rate of the patients without more side effects.
