ObjectiveTo discuss the application of clinical pathway in the health education for spinal cord injured patients in rehabilitation department. Methods56 patients with spinal cord injury were divided into 2 groups: treatment group and control group. Both groups were cared with holistic nursing. However, the health education to the treatment group was given by clinical pathway, while to the control group by traditional way. On the day of discharge, the health education standard and the satisfaction of patients were investigated. ResultsBoth the rates of standard in health education and satisfaction were more in treatment group than in control group. ConclusionApplication of clinical pathway can regulate the health educational behavior, improve the communication between nurses and patients, and the quality of nursing.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2015;14(10):25-29
Objective To study the effects of integration of medical treatment and care giving on patients' rehabilitation efficacy after hip replacement. Methods One hundred and six patients having undergone hip replacement in rehabilitation ward were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group from August 2013 to February 2015, 53 cases in each group. The control group received the traditional mode while taking the new integration of medical treatment in the observation group. The two groups were compared in terms of score on patients'ability of daily living, Harris score and patients'satisfaction. Result The score on patients'ability in daily living, the Harris hip score, joint function score were all higher than those of the control group (all P < 0.05). Conclusion The new integration of medical treatment can effectively improve the patients'ability in daily living , the hip joint function and the satisfaction of patients, reduce the potential complications after surgery and optimize the process of management in rehabilitation ward, which is worthy of promoting.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of innovative bladder irrigation on prevention of urinary tract infection in neurogenic bladder patients with clean intermittent catheterization after spinal cord injury (SCI). Methods 40 neurogenic bladder patients with clean intermittent catheterization after SCI were divided into observation group (n=20) and control group (n=20). The observation group received innovative bladder irrigation with normal saline 500 ml every other day, and the control group received normal bladder irrigation with normal saline 500 ml every day. Results 4 weeks and 6 weeks after treatment, the incidence of urinary tract infection was lower in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The innovative bladder irrigation method can decrease the rate of urinary tract infection in neurogenic bladder patients with clean intermittent catheterization after SCI.

ObjectiveTo explore the factors associated with activity of daily living (ADL) in patients injured from earthquake and to observe the rehabilitation nursing of fractures for them. Methods367 patients were reported and analyzed with Logistic regression. Results and ConclusionThe age (OR=1.016), renal failure (OR=4.648), lower limb fractures (OR=2.404), spine fracture (OR=3.558), right hand fractures (OR=1.190), right foot fractures (OR=4.389) and the complex fractures (OR=2.600) were associated with the poor ADL (<60). The rehabilitation nursing for fracture were reported and discussed.

Objective To investigate the effect of health education under Doctor-nurse-therapist Integrated Model on patients after lower limb amputation. Methods 70 patients after lower limb amputation were divided into experimental group (n=35) and control group (n=35). The experimental group received health education under the Doctor-nurse-therapist Integrated Model, while the control group received the routine health education. The success rate of health knowledge, satisfaction to nursing care, activities of daily living (ADL) and time stay in hospital were compared. Results The success rate of health knowledge, satisfaction to nursing care and score of ADL were more in the experimental group than the control group (P<0.05), while the time stay in hospital was less (P<0.01). Conclusion The Doctor-nurse-therapist Integrated Model can make the health education continuous and comprehensive, and it is more effective on patients with lower limb amputation.

Objective To investigate the security characteristics of rural young boarding pupils and its influencing factors. Methods 210 boarding and 265 non-boarding rural young pupils of Huojia in Henan were tested by questionnaires, including of a self-developed questionnaire, security questionnaire and adolescent mental resilience scale. Results ①The scores of the interpersonal security (25.99 ± 5.53),the determine control sense factor (24.63 ±6.17) and the total security(50.62 ± 10.37) in the boarding pupils were statistically lower than non-boarding pupils (27.36 ± 6.38,26.00 ± 6.55,53.36 ± 11.77,P <0.05).②There were statistically significant difference in the scores of the interpersonal security, the determine control sense factor and the total security among the different grades(P<0.05),but there were no statistically sex difference in the scores(P > 0.05).③Group regression analysis showed that,no family factors in the young boarding pupils had influence on the score of the security sense factors and the total (P>0.05),and marital relationship of parents, only child, father' s and mother(')s education background of non-boarding pupils had certain influence on the score of the interpersonal security, the determine control sense factor and the total security (β =-0.43-0.27,P< 0.05).④The group regression analysis showed that, the problem solving and self-efficacy,parents'high expectations in mental toughness respectively had some effect on the interpersonal security of boarding and non-boarding pupils(β =-0.15,β =0.25,P<0.05),and social ability and family care, schools resilience respectively had influence on the determine control sense in boarding and non-boarding pupils (β =-2.91-2.87,P<0.05),and social ability, parents'high expectations respectively had influence on the total security in boarding and non-boarding pupils (β =-0.17,β=0.22,P<0.05).Conclusion The security-sense in boarding young pupils are lower than the non-boarding young pupils, and family factors and mental toughness have different effects on security-sense of two kinds pupils.
