Objective The aim of study is to explore the TORCH infection status on the pre-pregnancy women and analyze the relationship with pregnancy outcome in Hongkou District,Shanghai, and provide the reference for the eugenic and superi-or nurture. Methods Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)was used to detect the specificity antibodies to Toxo-plasma (TOX),Rubelavirus (RUV),Cytomegalovirus (CMV)IgG and IgM in sera of the 3 500 pre-pregnant women in Hongkou District,Shanghai.Chi-square test was used for comparative analysis of the different rates. Results The positive rate of TOX-IgG,TOX-IgM,RV-IgG,CMV-IgG and CMV-IgM in pregnancy women from Hongkou district were 1.37%, 0.34%,89.7%,96.2% and 0.60% respectively. The total positive rate of TOX and (or)CMV IgM was 0.94%.According to age group, the results showed that TORCH infections with three pathogens associated with the pre-pregnancy women’s age,and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=102.9,P<0.01).The abnormal pregnancy rate of TORCH infec-tion-positive pregnancy women (25.0%,3/12)was higher than that of TORCH-negative pregnancy women (6.62%,27/408),and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =4.43,P=0.04).Conclusion The infection opportunity of TORCH in pregnant women in Shanghai Hongkou district was obviously existent and the TORCH infection status could effect on pregnancy outcome.TORCH testing has important practical significance as a routine examination of the pre-preg-nancy healthy service.

OBJECTIVE:To establish an HPLC method for the detection of Prednisone acetate, Hydrocortisone, Dexamethasone acetate, Piroxicam, Diclofenac sodium, Indometacin and Ibuprofen, the 7 chemical constituents in antirheumatic traditional Chinese medicine. METHODS: The chromatographic separation was performed on a Hypersil BDS C18 column (200 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) using methanol-1 g?L-1KH2PO4(58∶42) (adjusted to pH 4.0?0.05 with H3PO4) as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1. The detective wavelength was set at 220 nm. RESULTS: Seven chemical constituents were all well-separated with good linearity within respective range of sample size. CONCLUSION: The method is rapid and convenient, and can be used for the quantitative and qualitative analyses of 7 chemical constituents in antirheumatic traditional Chinese medicine and to detect whether there is addition of chemical constituents in antirheumatic traditional Chinese medicines.

Objective To prepare an influenza A(H1N1) split-virus vaccine and observe its safe-ty and effectiveness. Methods According to the process for preparing seasonal flu split-virus vaccine two batches of vaccine were prepared with the flu A (H1N1) vaccine virus strain recommended by WHO. The pilot products were tested against the requirements of flu split-virus vaccine. Results The quality of the pi-lot vaccine has been tested by National Control Laboratory and conformed to the requirements. Nine hundred and sixty volunteers received one dose of vaccine containing either 15 μg or 30 μg of hemagglutinin. The re-suits indicated the both seroconversion rate and protection rate were higher the 70%. The GMT of HIAb of the volunteers who received 1 dose of 15 μg increased significantly by 15, 39, 37 and 25 times compared to those before vaccination in the age groups of 3-11, 12-17, 18-59 and ≥60, respectively. And 26, 72, 68 and 36 times rise were found in the postvaccinated volunteers of 30 μg group. The total adverse reaction rates of 15 μg and 30 μg dose group were 29.38% and 43.75%, respectively. The grade 2 adverse reaction rates of 15 μg and 30 μg dose group were 6.25% and 15.42%, and the grade 3 adverse reaction rates of 15 μg and 30 μg dose group were 0.83% and 1.46%, respectively. No serious adverse reactions were found. Conclusion The influenza A (H1N1) split-virus vaccine prepared according to the requirements of season-al flu vaccine is safe and effective.

This paper is aimed to investigate the effect of titanium (Ti) particles and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) on the expressions of MMP-1, 2, 3 in human synovial cells, so as to explore the possible mechanism of osteolysis post-operation of metal-on-metal total joint arthroplasty in human synovial cells induced by Ti particles. In vitro cell cultures, human synovial cells were treated by Ti particles and/or TNF-alpha. The total RNA was isolated at 2 hours after the treatment. The gene expression of MMP-1, 2, 3 was analyzed by Semi-quantitative Reverse-transcriptional PCR and quantitative real-time PCR. Cell supernatant was collected at 12, 24, 48 hours after the treatment and Gelatin zymography was performed to detect the activity of MMP-2. Compared to those in the control group (untreated), Ti particles and TNF-alpha increased the gene expression of MMP-1, 2, 3 respectively (P < 0.05), and the effect of combination of the two was even more significant (P < 0.01). The trend of activities of MMP-2 is similar with gene expression. Ti particles and TNF-alpha increased MMP-2 activities by 1.3 times and 1.5 times respectively (P < 0.05), and the combination of the two increased by 1.7 times (P < 0.01). Ti particles and TNF-alpha-induced the stimulation of MMP-1, 2, 3 expressions and MMP-2 activities in human knee joint synovial cells may be involved in aseptic loosening after metal-on-metal arthroplasty through increasing the degradation of bone matrix and declining of osseous support structure mechanics.

Trauma is the leading cause of death for people under 40 years old in the world. At present, the rescue and treatment system of trauma patients in China is not yet well established, and the mortality of trauma patients is higher than those in the developed countries. Improving the treatment system is the key to reducing the trauma mortality. In order to innovate the service mode of trauma first aid, further promote the establishment of regional trauma first aid system, improve the ability of trauma treatment, reduce the mortality and disability rate of trauma patients in Jiangxi Province, recently Health Commission of Jiangxi Province and the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University have reached a consensus on the establishment of Jiangxi trauma first aid center. In order to provide reference for the construction of trauma treatment system, the author analyzes the following aspects including functional positioning, basic requirements, organization management, and evaluation of core indicators.
