Objective To explore the effect of risk management on the perioperative nursing of elderly patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery. Method Sixty-two elderly patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries were managed by management, which included establishing risk management team, identity and evatuating risk factors, applying risk manadement. Result There was no nursing risk events among them. Conclusion For elderly patients with cardiovascular surgery, risk management can enhance nurses′ability of discerning, assessing and managing the nursing risks so that it is effective in avoiding possible risks, reducing nursing adverse events during perioperative period, improving nursing quality and ensuring the safety of surgery.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of the concentration of plasma circulation microRNA155 (miRNA155) in ulcerative cilitis (UC) and its correlation with clinical characteristic of UC.Methods From October 2010 to August 2012,a total of 136 patients diagnosed as UC were enrolled,and at same time,170 healthy individuals were set as healthy control.The blood samples of all participants were obtained and plasma was isolated.The adsorption column was used for RNA extraction according to miRNeasy kit instruction.RNA was reverse-transcribed into cDNA with miScript reverse transcription kit.cDNA was a template and miRNA155 real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was performed with miScript SYBR Green PCR kit.The relative quantity of miRNA155 expression was calculated with 2-△△Ct method.Analysis of variance were performed for comparison between groups.Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was used for the diagnostic value of miRNA155 concentration in UC.Multiple linear regression analysis was used for the correlation between miRNA155 concentration and clinical characteristics of UC.Results The concentration of plasma circulation miRNA155 of patients with UC ((1357.43±326.15) fmol/L)was higher than that of healthy controls ((1140.70 ± 312.47) fmol/L) and the differences were statistically significant (F=35.56,P＜0.01).The area under receiver operating characteristic curve of the concentration of plasma circulation miRNA155 of patients with UC was 0.847,and the 95 ％CI was 0.806 to 0.888 (P＜0.01).When the concentration of plasma circulation miRNA155 was 1404.51 fmol/L,its specificity in the diagnosis of UC was 94.7％,and sensitivity was 40.4％.There was correlation between the concentration of plasma circulation miRNA155 and the disease activity in patients with UC (F=12.91,P＜0.05).However there was no correlation with the severity and location of the disease (both P＞0.05).Conclusion Plasma circulation miRNA155 highly expressed in patients with UC,and its concentration is correlated with the disease activity.

Objective BOLD-fMRI was used to observe the activated auditory cortex evoked by pure tone stimuli in patients with sensorineural hearing loss and this paper is to discuss the objective measure for patient with sensorineural hearing toss. Methods BOLD-fMRI examinations were taken in 22 patients with unilateral moderate to severe sensorneural hearing loss and 15 control subjects. The volumes and intensities of the two hemispheres of the activated auditory cortex were analyzed quantitatively. Results Significant activation was found in the temporal lobe in control subjects, and significant differences in the volume and intensity were noted between the contralateral and ipsilateral activated auditory cortexes in them (P<0.01), exhibiting clearly eontralateral predominance. When the normal ear of patients with sensorineural hearing loss received signals, there was no significant difference be-tween contralateral and ipsilateral activated auditory cortexes (P>0.05). Conclusion When the normal ear of pa-tients with sensorneural hearing loss was stimulated by pure tone, the contralateral hemisphere predominance disap-peared. This result seems to show the plasticity of auditory cortex of patients with unilateral hearing loss.

Objective:To study the influence of miR-221 in theβcells of mice with diabetic nephropathy (DN), and to clarify the protective effect of miR-221 on DN.Methods:Twenty wild type C57BL/6J mice aged 8 weeks were divided into control group and DN group (n=10).The DN mice models were constructed with 14 weeks of high fat diet,and 100 mg·kg-1 streptozotocin (STZ)was used to induce the partial insulin deficiency.10 weeks later the blood glucose,serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen content and 24h-urinary albumin excretion rate were detected.Theβcells of islet were isolated from the DN mice.The expression level of SOCS3 mRNA inβ cells of islet was valued by Real-time PCR.The proliferation of pancreaticβcells of islet was examined by MTT assay.The contents of insulin and insulin release levels in pancreaticβ cells of islet were detected by ELISA assay.Luciferase reporter gene assay was used to detect the luciferase reporter gene activity of SOCS3.Results:The DN mouse models were constructed successfully.The blood glucose,serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen and 24h-urinary albumin excretion rate of the mice in DNA group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05 ).After overexpression of miR-221,the expression level of SOCS3 mRNA in pancreaticβcells of islet and the proliferation ability ofβcells of islet of the mice in DN group were lower than those of normal islet cells (P < 0.05).Then luciferase reporter gene method found SOCS3 as one of the target genes of miR-221.After overexpression of miR-221,the insulin release level and insulin content in pancreaticβcells of islet were higher than those of normal islet cells (P <0.05).Conclusion:miR-221 can promopt the synthesis and secretion ofβ cells of islet and inhibit the dysfunction ofβcells of islet in the DN mice by down-regulating the SOCS3 level.

Objective To investigate whether there is an inhibition of the human lung cancer cell line A549 induced by the culture supernatant of Toxoplasma gondii in vitro and the mechanism of the inhibition. Methods A549 cells 5 x 10~4mL~(-1) were cultured and harvested. The cells were treated for different hours with different concentrations of Toxoplasma gondii culture supernatant (the concentrations of tachyzoites were 4×10~7mL~(-1), 8 × 10~7mL~(-1), 16 ×10~7mL~(-1) respectively). Growth inhibition rate was measured with the MTT method; Cell cycle was checked with flow cytometer. Western blot was used to detect the level of cyclinBl and cdc2 of cells. Results The culture supernatants of Toxoplasma gondii inhibited proliferation of A549 cells in a time-dose dependent manner. Cell cycle was significantly stopped at G_2/M phase by the culture supernatants with FCM technology. The culture supernatant of Toxoplasma gondii reduced the expressions of gene cyclinBl and cdc2 of A549 cells. Conclusion The culture supernatant of Toxoplasma gondii may inhibit A549 cell and arrest the cell cycle of A549 cells mainly by regulating the expression of gene cyclinBl and cdc2.

Objective To study the effect of computerized pressure hemostat on lower limb deep vein thrombosis in high-risk elderly patients.Methods From September to December 2013,36 orthopedic hospitalized patients who received operations were divided into the hemostat group and the non-hemostat group with 18 patients in each group.D-dimer changes and lower limb deep vein thrombosis were observed in both groups.Results D-dimer was significantly increased in both groups compared with that before operation,but the extent of elevation in the non-hemostat group was lower than that in the hemostat group.D-dimer and cases of lower limb deep vein thrombosis in the hemostat group was higher than those in the non-hemostat group after operation,which showed significant difference.Conclusions The use of computerized pressure hemostat will increase the risk of lower limb deep vein thrombosis in elderly patients,so the technical operation procedures should be strictly enforced accompany with safely use of computerized pressure hemostat.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality standard for Prostatitis capsules. METHODS:TLC method was performed to qualitatively identify Pseudostellaria heterophylla,Acortw tatarinowii,Sargentodoxa cuneata,Rubia cordifolia and Vaccaria segeta-lis in the preparation. HPLC method was adopted to determine the content of leonurine in the preparation. The determination was performed on Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column with mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.025 mol/L potassium dihydrogen phos-phate(pH adjusted to 2.5)(24 : 76,V/V)with phosphoric acidat the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The detection wavelength was set at 277 nm,and column temperature was 30 ℃. The sample size was 10 μL. RESULTS:The TLC spots of P. heterophylla,A. tatari-nowii,S. cuneate,R. cordifolia,and V. segetalis were clear and well-separated without interference from negative control. The lin-ear range of leonurine were 4.05-81.00 μg/mL(r=0.9999). RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were all lower than 2.0%. The recovery was 98.47%-103.83%(RSD=2.04%,n=9). CONCLUSIONS:Established standard can be used for quali-ty control of Prostatitis capsules.

Objective To study the effects of 8-methoxypsoralen (8-MOP) on a ctivation, proliferation and melanin synthesis of hair-follicle melanocytes. Me thods The cultured human hair follicle melanocytes were treated with various con centrations of 8-MOP(10～500 ?mol/L) in vitro. The effects of 8-MOP were obse rved on cellular morphologic changes, proliferation, tyrosinase activity and mel anin contents of cultured melanocytes. Results Seven days after treatment with 8-MOP(50 ?mol/L), striking changes were found in cellular morphology with many elongated dendrites, and deposition of brown granules in cytoplasm. Objective To detect and analyse the levels of nitrite in marketed milk powder.Methods 6 brands of maketed milk powder were selected in this study.Interferents,such as protein,were removed from milk powder preliminarily by using potassium ferrocynide and zinc acetate.The levels of nitrite were detected by using fluorospectrophotometry method,and compared with na-tional standard(2 mg/kg).Results The levels of nitrite in the 6 brands of maketed milk powder were lower than the national stand-ard limit,had statistically significant differences(P <0.05).Conclusion The levels of nitrite of 6 brands of milk powders do not ex-ceed the national standard.

Aim To investigate the effects of the alco-hol extract from Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt. on urinary metabolomics of spontaneous hypertension rats ( SHR) . Methods SHR were fed with normal diet for 1 week and then, they were randomly divided into six groups:untreated control, the high, middle, low dos-age group of the alcohol extract(3.2 g·kg-1 ,1.6 g· kg-1,0.8 g·kg-1) , captopril group(4 mg·kg-1) and Duzhong tablet group(187.5 mg·kg-1). The u-rine of normal rats and SHR hypertension model rats was collected on 1,2,3,4 weeks. The metabolic pro-files were analyzed using 1 H-NMR. PLS-DA methods were used to discriminate the difference and the bio-markers. Results Compared with model group, the blood pressure of all groups was significantly lowered after 4 weeks ( P <0.01 ) . The alcohol extract from Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt. could significantIy reduce blood pressure, and the urinary metabolic profiles trea-ted with Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt. were changed signifi-cantly such as IIL,creatine,β-glucose,etc. Conclusion The alcohol extract from Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt. could significantIy reduce blood pressure and change the urinary metabolomics profiles of SHR rats.
