This investigation was aimed to explore whether over-expression of 27heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) could protect bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)against injury induced by high-concentration glucose. We cultured BMSCs in high-concentration glucose medium, and up-regulated or inhibited HO-1 expression in BMSCs through its agonist or inhibitor. We detected the ability of BMSCs proliferation and secretion respectively by MTT and enzyme-linked immunosorbnent assay (ELISA). Then we detected the effect of BMSCs conditions medium on proliferation and migration of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) through scratch experiments and transwell assay. It was found that HO-1 over-expression could not only promote BMSCs proliferation, but also promote secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and could further accelerate the proliferation and migration of HUVECs. It could be well concluded that HO-1-over-expressing BMSCs can not only inhibit damage induced by high-concentration glucose, but can promote the proliferation and migration of vascular endothelial cells through paracrine as well. The result indicated that HO-1-over-expressing BMSCs played an important role in the treatment of diabetic vascular complication.

Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2011;36(2):138-142
OBJECTIVE:
To explore the correlation among coping style, social support, and negative emotion in Chinese infertile women.
METHODS:
A total of 211 infertile women was enrolled for this study. Participants completed questionnaires including Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ), Selfrating Anxiety Scale (SAS), and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS).
RESULTS:
The mean scores of the 2 dimensions of SCSQ for the infertile women were 20.18±5.43 (positive coping) and 10.19±3.83 (negative coping), respectively. The total mean score of SSRS was 38.95±6.87, and the mean score of 3 dimensions of SSRS were 22.63±4.15 (subjective support), 8.97±2.73 (objective support), and 7.35±1.87 (extent of using the support), respectively. The mean scores of SAS and SDS were 43.44±10.45 and 50.06±10.59, respectively. SAS scores were negatively correlated to the scores of positive coping, subjective support, objective support and extent of using the support (P<0.01) while positively correlated to the scores of negative coping (P<0.01). SDS score were negatively correlated to the scores of positive coping, subjective support, objective support, and extent of using the support (P<0.01). SEM analysis showed that positive coping had direct and positive effect on social support (β=0.49, P<0.01) while direct and negative effect on negative emotions (anxiety and depression, β=-0.27, P<0.01). Negative coping had direct and negative effect on social support (β=-0.21, P<0.01) while direct and positive effect on negative emotions (β=0.21, P<0.01). Positive coping and negative coping also had indirect effects on negative emotions through the pathway of social support, which had direct and negative effect on negative emotions (β=-0.21, P<0.01).
CONCLUSION
Coping styles have direct and indirect effects on negative emotions for the infertile women. As a mediator, social support regulates the relationship between coping styles and negative emotions. Using positive coping more frequently while using negative coping less frequently can alleviate the negative emotions of the infertile women through improving social support levels directly or indirectly.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2020;26(30):4239-4243
Objective:To explore the mediating effect of emotional exhaustion of nurses on occupational stress and recovery experience, so as to provide reference for clinical nursing management. Methods:From June to August 2019, clinical registered nurses of the First BethuneHospital of Jilin University were selected as the research objects by convenient sampling method. Occupational Stress Inventory (OSI-R) , emotional exhaustion subscale of Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS) and Recovery Experience Questionnaire (REQ) were used to investigate and analyze the correlation between occupational stress, emotional exhaustion and recovery experience of clinical nurses. In this study, a total of 560 questionnaires were issued and 538 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 96.1%.Results:The total OSI-R score of 538 clinical nurses was (350.60±68.80) , the emotional exhaustion subscale score of MBI-GS was (22.65±7.05) and the total score of REQ was (51.16±12.20) . The occupational task, individual stress response and individual coping resource dimension scores of clinical nurses in REQ were all correlated with the total score of emotional exhaustion subscale ( P<0.05) , but negatively correlated with the total score of REQ ( P<0.05) . The relationship model of occupational stress, emotional exhaustion and experience recovery showed that occupational stress of clinical nurses had direct and indirect effects on experience recovery. Conclusions:There is a certain correlation between occupational stress, emotional exhaustion and recovery experience of nurses, and emotional exhaustion plays a mediating role between occupational stress and recovery experience. Nursing managers should provide a good working environment for clinical nurses, reduce occupational stress of clinical nurses, and reduce the level of emotional exhaustion to improve recovery experience of nurses.

Objective To investigate the demand for perioperative health education in liver transplantation patients at different stages, and to discuss its influencing factors, so as to provide the empirical evidence for nurses to satisfy patients' health education demand. Methods From July 2014 to March 2016, the self-designed health education demand questionnaire for patients undergoing liver transplantation was used to investigate 71 patients who met the criteria. Single factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to explore the influencing factors of the health education demand. Results The score of health education demand in liver transplantation patients was (114.48±5.27), which was at a relatively high level. The item with highest demand at preoperative stage was the financial burden of the surgery, with the score of (4.52±0.81). Diet guidance was the highest at postoperative stage, and the score was (4.61±0.57). Before discharge, review follow-up guidance was the most popular item, with the score of (4.72±0.45). Multiple regression analysis demonstrated that education background and waiting time for liver were the main influencing factors of health education demand (P<0.05). Conclusions The nursing staff should realize the current situation of health education demand in liver transplantation patients and provide individualized health education for each individual patient to improve the patients' quality of life.
