Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of carvedilol and metoprolol in the treatment of dilated cardiomyopathy patients with heart failure (DCM).Methods According to the different treatment method,90 DCM patients with heart failure patients were divided into the observation group and the control group,45 cases in each group.Both groups were given a diuretic,vasodilator,cardiac and other drug treatment,and the control group were added with metoprolol,and the observation group were added with carvedilol.The treatment lasted 4 to 6 months.Before and after treatment,the levels of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESVI),left ventricular diastolic diameter (LVEDVI),left ventricular fractional shorteningrate (FS),largest peak velocity (hCFV),coronary flow reserve (CFR),simultaneous detection of serum levels of endothelin (ET) and nitric oxide(NO) content were observed and compared betweon the two groups.Results After the treatment,the levels of LVEF,LVESVI,LVEDVI,FS,hCFV,CFR,ET,NO of the observation group were (44.0 ± 3.4) ml/m2,(45.2 ±6.9)mm,(20.9 ±5.4)mm,(30.4 ±5.3),(78.2 ±31.6) cm/s,(3.12 ±0.36),(52.2 ±5.6) ng/L,(5.2 ± 0.67) μmol/L,respectively,which were better than those of the control group[(37.9 ± 3.5)mL/m2,(51.1 ± 7.6)mm,(20.7 ±6.3) mm,(25.2 ±7.3),(70.5 ± 31.8)cm/s,(2.85 ±0.23),(63.5 ± 1.8)ng/L,(2.55 ± 0.33) μmoL/L] (t =8.386,-3.856,-4.487,3.867,-1.152,-4.239,12.887,-23.802,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Carvedilol is an effective drug for the treatment of DCM consolidated psychological failure,which can improve heart function and coronary flow reserve capacity and endothelial function in patients,which is worth in the clinical with satisfactory results.

Objective:To compare the estimation of glomerular filtration rate(GFR)by renal dynamicimaging with that estimated by two-sample method and evaluate the reliability of measurement of GFR byrenal dynamic imaging.Methods:The study was performed in 54 patients(33 males and 21 females;aged 15 to 82 years)with primary or secondary chronic nephrosis.The patients were intravenously bolusinjected with 185 MBq/1 mL of (99)~Tc~m-DTPA 20 min after drinking 300 mL of water.Renal dynamic ima-ging was performed and the image was processed according to standard procedure(Gates' method)to ob-tain GFR.3mL of blood was withdrawn 2h and 4h postinjection,respectively,and radioactivity of 1mLplasma was measured.GFR was calculated by the formula of two-sample method.The correlation ofGFRs measured by renal dynamic imaging and by two-sample method was analyzed using regression anal-ysis.The correlations of GFRs determined by the two methods with urea and creatinine were also meas-ured.Results:The GFR measured by renal dynamic imaging was slightly lower than that measured bytwo-sample method.Excellent correlation was obtained by two methods with r=0.881 5 and P

Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders (PTLD) is one of the most potentially lifethreatening complications after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (a]lo-HSCT),and is mostly associated with Epstein-Barr virus infection.PTLD may have a wide range of clinical manifestations and pathological classifications.The rapid progression and high fatality of early PTLD should prompt clinicians to a timely diagnosis.This paper presents a review of the latest update on epidemiology,pathogenesis,clinical manifestations,diagnosis,management and prognosis of post allo-HSCT PTLD.

Objective:Establishing a simple useful method of the ultraviolet spectrophotometric to determine the arteannuin element content,providing the fast basis for screening and shopping high quality arteannuin.Method:Carrying on the wave length scanning with the ultraviolet spectrophotometer to arteannuin element standard solution, establishing the standard curve, according to standard curve determination sample content. Results:Arteannuin element most suitable absorption wave length is 290 nm, and the extinction-density regression equation is:Y=0.043X+0.006. The different arteannuin element sample content has the difference.Conclusion:The method of ultraviolet spectrophotometric determining arteannuin element content operation is quickly,simple and accurate.

Objective:To investigate the proliferation inhibitory effect of crocin on transitional cell carcinoma of urinary bladde(rTCCB). Methods:MTT assay was used to evaluate the inhibitory effect of Crocin on the proliferation of T24 cells. Microscope was used to observe the morphological changes of the T24 cells. Flow cytometry was used to measure the cell cycle. T24 cells were inoculated in to BALB/c nude mice to establish bladder cancer model. After treatment with Crocin,the inhibitory effects were observed on the growth of tumors. Results:The proliferation of T24 cells were inhibited remarkably. Objective To construct eukaryotic expression vector of attenuated Salmonella typhimurium containing hCTLA-4Ig cDNA and identify its expression in COS-7 cells for the further study of function in SLE models. Methods Touchdown PCR was used to amplify hCTLA-4Ig cDNA.The PCR product was ligated into the multiple clone site of eukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1(+) by gene recombination technique.Then the recombinated plasmid pcDNA3.1(+)-CTLA-4Ig was transfected into COS-7 cells using DOTAP.The expression of interest protein in the supernatant of the cell disruption was detected with SDS-PAGE and Western blotting.Results Restriction analysis and DNA sequence analysis showed that the CTLA-4Ig cDNA had been successfully inserted into pcDNA3.1(+) eukaryotic expression vector.The interest protein could be detected in the supernatant of cell disruption 48h after the transfection of pcDNA3.1(+)-CTLA-4Ig.This protein specifically bound with human CTLA-4 monoclonal antibody.Conclusion The eukaryotic expression vector containing hCTLA-4Ig gene was successfully constructed and bioactive interest protein could be successfully expressed in mammalian cells.

Application of TMS technology in newborn screening has resulted in major expansion of disorder panel for metabolic diseases in recent years. This automated, multiplex testing methodology detects multiple analytes from single analysis of one blood spot, which leads to detection of 30-35 disorders of amino acids, organic acids, and fatty acids metabolism. The early identification of persons affected with inborn errors of metabolism has led to unexpected discoveries related to the natural history of the disorder or options for therapy. This article summarized (1) the basic principles of this technology and methodology. (2) Current status of application of this methodology in the United States, European countries and in China. (3) The positive impacts on the public health and advances in medical genetics. Finally (4) Challenges, issues and possible solutions. The purpose of this article aimed at introducing new technology and exploring the possibilities of implementing into developing countries where medical genetics is not developed and foreseeing the possible problems and obstacles.

Objective To investigate the influence of biochemical indices and coagulation function in severe burn patients with chemical poisoning by continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT)treatment.Methods 60 patients were randomly divided into CRRT treatment group(n=30)and basic therapy(n=30).The control group received conventional treatment,based therapies in the treatment group based on the use CRRT treatment,the average course of 2 or 3 times to observe the biochemical indicators coagulation,and cytokine before treatment compared with that after treatment.Results In treatment group,the index of heart rate,arterial partial pressure of oxygen,blood urea nitrogen,serum creatinine after treatment[(110.0±26.0)times/min,(93.3±11.0)mm Hg,(6.1 ±1.3)mmol/L,(106.4±24.8)μmol/L],compared with before treatment[(148.0±38.0)times/min、(84.5 9.1)mm Hg,(8.6±1.9)mmol/L,(172.6 ±29.8)μmol/L]were significantly different(t=2.154,2.345、2.458,2.544,all P＜0.05),and compared with control group[(133.0±37.0)times/min,(86.5 ±9.9)mm Hg,(8.3 ±2.0)mmol/L,(134.6±26.8)μmol/L]were statistically significant(t=2.174,2.245,2.558,2.444,all P＜0.05);The index of IL-1,IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α after treatment in treatment group[(260.7 ±25.9)ng/L,(327.6±129.2)ng/L,(300.3±146.6)ng/L,(97.1±22.3)ng/L)compared with control group after treatment[(368 .2±24.8)ng/L,(400.2±198.3)ng/L,(482.9±198.5)ng/L,(225.0 ±22.3)ng/L]had significant differences(t=2.314、2.371、2.278、2.316,all P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment group of patients with severe burns could remove the inflammatory mediators and cywkines,to improve their inflammatory state and maintain stability in the environment.
