Objective To investigate antimicrobial resistance and change trends ofUreaplasma urealyticum (Uu) from reproductive system of female patients at a traditional Chinese medicine hospital in three consecutive years. Methods Antimicrobial resistance of Uu isolated from gynaecology leucorrhea and cervical secretion specimens of patients of dermatology & sexually transmitted diseases department and gynaecology department from January 2011 to December 2013 were analyzed retrospectively. Results A total of 327 Uu strains were isolated, except resistance rates of Uu to doxycycline(5.23%-6.12%)and josamycin(0-1 .96%)remained at a relatively low level in three consecutive years, resistance rate to the other antimicrobials showed an upward trend year by year, but the difference was not significant (P >0.05).The resistance of Uu to ofloxacin, clarithromycin and sparfloxacin were relatively high(42.11 %-61 .40%),to josamycin, doxycycline and minocycline were lower(0-13.07%),and multidrug re-sistance was serious. Conclusion Antimicrobial resistanc of Uu isolated from reproductive system of female patients in this hospital is high.It is necessary to realize the status and change trends of antimicrobial resistance of Uu for the treatment of disease and control of the emergence of multidrug resistance pathogens.

Objective To evaluate the effect of traditional Chinese medicine sputum discharge liquid on preventing ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP).Methods A randomized double-blind,placebo-controlled study was con-ducted,according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, patients with respiratory failure and mechanical ventilation in the intensive care unit (ICU)of a hospital in 2011 -2014 were selected and divided into treatment group and con-trol group.Treatment group received sputum discharge liquid in addition to conventional treatment, control group adopted simulation agent based on conventional treatment. The incidence, treatment effectiveness, occurrence time, and prognosis of VAP between two groups of patients were compared. Results A total of 139 patients were monitored,70 cases in treatment group and 69 in control group. The incidence of VAP in treatment group and con-trol group were 37.14% (n =26)and 57.97%(n =40)respectively;the average onset time of VAP in treatment group and control group were (76±3.2)hours and (45±8.9)hours after admission to ICU respectively;treatment effectiveness rates in treatment and control group were 88.46% and 55.00% respectively;the incidence, occurrence time, and treatment effectiveness rates of VAP between two groups of patients were both significantly different (all P <0.05).There were no significant difference in blood routine, liver and kidney function, urine routine, stool rou-tine,and electrocardiogram results between two groups of patients (all P >0.05 ).Conclusion Intervention in patients with mechanical ventilation by sputum discharge liquid can reduce the incidence of VAP,and has a positive effect on the prognosis of disease and pulmonary infection in patients.

Objective To investigate clinical value of the anti-nuclear antibody (ANA ) ,anti-double strand DNA (dsDNA ) anti-body and anti-extractable nuclear antigen(ENA) antibody repertoire in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) diagnosis .Methods 158 SLE patients were served as SLE group and another 50 healthy people as the control group .Indirect immunofluorescence(IIF) and immunoblotting test(IBT ) were employed to detect ANA ,anti-dsDNA antibody and anti-ENA antibody repertoire .Results Positive rates of ANA ,anti-dsDNA antibody and anti-ENA antibody repertoire in SLE diagnosis were 81 .65% ,68 .35% and 87 .34% ,respectively ,which were all lower than that of their combined detection (93 .04% ) ,with statistically significant difference (P<0 .05 ) .Among anti-ENA antibody repertoire ,the positive rate of anti-U1-nuclear ribonucleoprotein (U1-Nrnp ) antibody (52 .53% ) was the highest .Conclusion Combined detection of ANA ,anti-dsDNA antibody and anti-ENA antibodies repertoire has some clinical value of early diagnosis of SLE .

Objective To explore the changes on the value of CVP with different body postures after upper abdominal surgery in order to provide accurate basis for better monitoring of central venous pressure(CVP). Methods The CVP, blood pressure, pulse, respiration of 43 patients after upper abdom-inal surgery with indwelling central venous catheter were measured under supine position, 15°dorsal ele-vated position and 30°dorsal elevated position. The data were collected for correlation and regression analysis. Results The CVP value increased with the elevation of body postures, the CVP value under supine position was linearly positively correlated with the other two positions(P<0.01).The regression e-quation of supine position and 15°dorsal elevated position was:Y=1.009X1+0.811; the regression equation of supine position and 30°dorsal elevated position was:Y=1.005X2+1.630. Conclusions Through moni-toring the CVP value under 15°dorsal elevated position and 30°dorsal elevated position, and substitute it in equation,we can evaluate the CVP value under supine position.

OBJECTIVETo compare the rutin and syringin content in tissue culturing seedlings and in botanical drug of Saussurea involucrata.
METHODThe HPLC with Hydro-RP C18 (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 microm) column was used, a mixture of acetonitrile-water (5:95) was used as a mobile phase, with flow rate of 1 mL x min(-1), column temperature at 25 degrees C and detection wavelength at 220 nm.
RESULTThe effective constituents of tissue culturing seedlings were almost similar to the botanical drug. And syringin in tissue culturing seedlings was increased 4.35 times.
CONCLUSIONIt has a good prospect to acquire high-quality S. involucrata by tissue culturing seedlings.
