Objective To observe the effects of early intravenous administration of Astragalus on brain inju-ry in neonates with severe asphyxia. Methods According to hospital serial number, 80 neonates with severe as-phyxia were divided into conventional treatment group (control group) (n=40), which was on the basis of symp-tomatic support treatment for the use of cerebrolysin and citicoline treatment; Astragalus injection treatment group (n=40), which, apart from the conventional treatment, Astragalus injection was given as soon as possible (within six hours after birth). The incidence of convulsions or frequent seizures convulsions and the mortality in two groups, the clinical degree of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and the behavior nerve score determination were ob-served and compared. Results The incidence of convulsions or frequent seizures convulsions was significantly lower in the Astragalus treatment group than in the control group (45.00% vs 67.50%, χ24.501,P<0.05). The per-centage of the behavior nerve score determination in 7 d-8d and 12 d-14d after birth was obviously lower in the for-mer group than the latter one (48.57% vs 74.19%, χ2 4.642,P<0.05; 31.42% vs 58.06%, χ24.601, P<0.05). The mortality was not significant different between the two groups (12.50 % vs 22.50%, χ22.000, P>0.05). Conclusion For severe asphyxia neonates, on the basis of the symptomatic support treatment, the use of Astragalus injection, as soon as possible, can significantly reduce the hypoxic ischemic brain injury.

OBJECTIVETo determine the pesticide residues in Shengmaiyin.
METHODThe residues were simultaneously identified and quantified by capillary gas chromatography. The capillary column was OV-1701(0. 32 mm x 30 m, 0.5 microm), splitless injection and Agilent 63Ni electron capture detector ECD were adopted. The carrier gas were high-pure nitrogen, the flow rate were 60 mL x min(-1), the injector temperature was 260 degrees C, and the detector temperature was 300 degrees C.
RESULTIt showed a good linear relationship between peak area and pesticide concentration for 11 kinds of pesticides in the detection concentration range. All correlation coefficients were higher than 0.996 2. The average recovery was 83.1% -114.7%.
CONCLUSIONA simple and efficient monitoring method of pesticide residues is established which provides the foundation for the safe use and analysis of Shengmaiyin.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2018;34(28):2182-2186
Objective To test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Insomnia Severity Index(ISI-C) in patients with insomnia. Methods One hundred and twenty patients with insomnia were selected from Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Dalian University. The subjects had completed the ISI-C scale and Pittsburgh Sleep quality Index(PSQI) scale, Epworth Sleepiness Scale(ESS) at the same time. The reliability and validity of the scale were tested by Cronbach α coefficient, item correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis and ROC curve test. Results The Cronbach α coefficient of the ISI-C was 0.804,the test-retest reliability was 0.887 (P<0.01). The items of ISI-C scale were correlated with the corresponding items of PSQI (r=0.831, P<0.01), ESS(r =0.218, P<0.05). Two common factors were extracted by factor analysis including the severity of insomnia and the influence of insomnia, and the cumulative contribution rate was 63.117% (P<0.01).When the cutting point was 10.5 points, the sensitivity and specificity were 84.0% and 92.3%, respectively (P<0.01). Conclusions ISI-C scale is a reliable and valid instrument. It can be used to measure the insomnia of patients in hospitals.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of 980 nm diode laser therapy for treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods Data of 170 patients with BPH treated with 980nm diode laser system were reviewed. The mean operative time, blood loss, surgical complications, the international prostate symptom score (IPSS), bladder residual urine volume and flow rate changes were collected and analyzed. Results One hundred and seventy cases were safe during the perioperative period. The average operation time was (74 ± 11) min, surgical removal of prostate tissue mass of (54±12) g, blood loss (72±11) ml. There was no TUR syndrome occurred. 170 patients were followed up 2 to 24 months. The IPSS decreased from preoperative 25.0±5.5 to 9.0±2.5. The maximum flow rate increased from preoperative (6.2±2.3)ml/s to post-operative (17.4±3.5) ml/s. The residual urine volume decreased from preoperative (210.0±25.6) ml to postoperative (25.2±4.6) ml. All the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Transurethral vaporization of 980 nm diode laser could be a safe and effective treatment modality for BPH.

Objective:To investigate the effect of early gradual diet on reducing delirium in elderly patients with hip arthroplasty. Methods:From January 2018 to January 2020, 74 cases of hip arthroplasty patients aged over 65 years old who were treated in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University were selected as the observation objects. They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 37 cases in each group. The experimental group was given early gradual diet on the basis of routine postoperative care, while the control group was given routine postoperative diet on the basis of routine postoperative care. The incidence of postoperative delirium, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), patient satisfaction rate, average hospitalization days and average hospitalization expenses were used to evaluate the effect of early gradual diet on reducing delirium in elderly patients with hip arthroplasty. Results:The incidence of delirium in the experimental group was 2.70% (1/37) and 16.22% (6/37) in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( χ2 value was 3.945, P<0.05); the hospitalization days of the experimental group were (10.68±5.13) d, (13.62±7.19) d in the control group. The difference of hospitalization days was statistically significant ( t value was 2.877, P<0.01). The incidence of difficulty in falling asleep and the satisfaction rate of the experimental group were 8.11% (3/37) and 94.59% (35/37) respectively, and those in the control group were 29.73% (11/37) and 78.38% (29/37) respectively, and the differences were statistically significant ( χ2 value was 5.638, 4.163, P<0.05). Conclusions:Early gradual diet after operation can reduce the incidence of delirium in elderly patients with hip arthroplasty, shorten the average hospitalization days, reduce the incidence of difficulty in falling asleep, improve patients' satisfaction, and help patients to pass through the perioperative period more safely and comfortably.

Circular RNA (circRNA) is involved in tumor progression. CircPVT1 is an oncogene that is abnormally expressed and correlated with a variety of tumors. It can regulate tumors' malignant behavior and affect the survival and prognosis of patients. This article reviews research on the regulatory roles of circPVT1 in tumors to provide references for accurate treatment.
