Objective To test the reliability and validity of international physical activity questionnaire (IPAQ) in patients with hypertension.Methods It used international physical activity questionnaire and PA diary to evaluate the physical activity of patients with hypertension.Results The two re-test coefficients of IPAQ were related in hypertensive patients with different blood pressure level and physical activity.The energy consuming of different level of physical activity and total physical activity was correlated to each dimension of IPAQ.The first Spearman coefficient was 0.27～0.61,0.28～0.58 for the second time.Conclusions IPAQ had better reliability and validity,and could be used in hypertensive patients.

This study was aimed to analyze the similarities of characteristics between members of“metal family” in the five elements. Wittgenstein’s family resemblance theory was used in the analysis of members assigned to the category of“metal family”, which included metal, autumn, west, white, pungent and lung. The results showed that there was family resemblance between members of“metal family”. It was concluded that members were classified into the category of“metal family” through analogical reasoning of family resemblance. Any member to be classified as a member of“metal family” showed similarity with at least one of other family members. Certain member in the“metal family” had similarities in different aspects with multiple members in the family. Any two members of“metal family” may not always have any similarities. It can be deduced that certain physiological functions of lung were not owned by the lung itself, but by the characteristics of“metal family”. The range of“metal family” can be expanded and multiplied. The“metal family” can build new members in different areas.

Objective To explore the factors of treatment adherence for patients with hypertension.Methods Data were collected among 520 patients with essential hypertension from 2009 to 2010.It investigated the factors of treatment adherence for patients with hypertension by self-report scales.Results Structural equation model analysis showed age,self-rated health,self-eificacy,quality of life,family function and health concept were all directly associated with treatment adherence,and these variables explained 52.0％ of the total variance.Self-efficacy and quality of life were regarded as mediators in predicting treatment adherence of hypertensive patients,other variables indirectly affected adherence behavior by two mediators.Age and self-efficacy showed a strong independent predictive role to adherence.Conclusions Healthcare providers should take effective measures to improve treatment adherence for patients with hypertension based on patients characteristic once they make reasons for adherence clear,which can enhance quality of life,control blood pressure and prevent complications.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of splenic internal jugular shunt for Budd Chiari Syndrome (BCS). Methods A retrospective analysis was made on the clinical data of 21 patients of BCS who underwent this operation. Results There was no death in 21 patients receiving this operation, The average post operative reduction of FPP was 0.97Kpa.2 suffered postoperative lung infection . Abdominal incision infection occurred in one patient. Tweenty cases were followed up for one month to forty five months. Lower extremity varicose veins and abdomen wall varicose veins basically disappeared a month postoperatively; ascites vanished completely 3 months postoperatively,and lower limb ulcer healed 6 months postoperatively. Seventeen patients followed by CDFI showed that no thrombus was found in their artificial vessel. Barium meal studies in 12 cases displayed that oesophageal varicose veins had basically disappeared during the follow up period. Conclusions Splenic jugular shunt bridged by artifical vessel is safe,effective and less traumatic for patients with type III and some patients with type II Budd Chiari syndrome. It is currently the best choice for treatment of BCS.

AIM: To observe the effect of Dianxiankang Capsules (Radix Codonopsis, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria, Pericarpium Citri Reticulate, etc) on experimental rabbit with epilepsy induced by injecting trace of ZnSO 4. METHODS: Rabbits'behaviour and electricity hippocampuses graph(EHG) were taken as index. RESULTS: Danxiankang Capsules of large or middle dosage could significantly improve the epilepsy behaviour, change and lower hippocampuses graph potential and continural slow frequency and ampilitude. CONCLUSION: Dianxiankang Capsules has the effect on improveing the electricity hippocampuses graph of rabbit with epilepsy.

Protein-protein interactions and recognition are the focal and hot themes of the life science field in the 21st century. Molecular docking approach is the effective computer modeling technology in the study of this topic. Generally, the protein-protein docking procedure is composed of four stages: searching of the binding modes of the receptor and the ligand, filtering of docked modes to eliminate the irrational docked structures, optimizing the structures, evaluating the docked modes with the refined scoring function and ranking them to obtain the near-native structures. Combining the research group's works, in terms of the international and national progress of protein-protein docking approaches, the detailed review was made about the four stages mentioned above. Additionally, the existing major questions are analyzed and the prospects of the future study are made.

ObjectiveTheaimofthisstudywastoprovideabetterpositivecontrolforallergictestbycomparing the allergic effect of two kinds of positive materials , human albumin and ovalbumin , on active systemic anaphylaxis in guinea pig.Methods Guinea pigs were randomly divided into 14 groups, and were given human albumin , ovalbumin (2, 10, 100 mg/animal), or 0.9%sodium chloride injection as test substances , to assess the symptoms and incidence of systemic allergic responses induced by different sensitizing substances in different challenge doses and different challenge intervals.Results In the range of 2 to 100 mg/animal, the guinea pigs showed a 100%incidence rate of positive allergic reaction to human albumin and ovalbumin , the severity of anaphylactic symptoms was increasing along with the increase of sensitizing doses and challenge doses , and the allergic reaction was more strong induced by the same dose of ovalbumin than human albumin .Conclusions Our findings indicate that in the active systemic anaphylaxis test in guinea pigs , we recommend ovalbumin as the positive control in a dose of 2 mg/animal.

Objective To summarize and analyze the effect of hand hygiene(HH)cost on the incidence of health-care-associated infection (HAI),evaluate continuous improvement method,and provide data for hospital manage-ment.Methods The cost of HH project and incidence of HAI in a hospital from January 2013 to June 2014,as well as HH compliance in the first half year of 2014 were investigated.Results Semiannual statistics were performed, the cost of HH project in the first half of 2013,second half of 2013,and first half of 2014 were 283 490,414 232, and 522 345 yuan respectively,compared with the first half of 2013,the cost of HH in the first half of 2014 in-creased by 84.26%;incidence of HAI were 3.13%,3.33%,and 3.03% respectively,difference was significant(χ2=10.37,P <0.001).In the first half of 2014,HH compliance rate increased from 35.00% in January to 59.49% in June.The top three factors that affecting the implementation of HH were busy work,had no time for handwashing;inadequate HH facilities or supplies;inadequate knowledge about HH.Conclusion Increasing the investment of HH products can improve HH compliance and reduce the incidence of HAI.
