Inrecentyears, somecardiovascularguidelineshavegradualyintroducedambulatory blood pressure monitoring ( ABPM ) as an indispensable means for better diagnosis and management of hypertensive patients. ABPM can more comprehensively provide 3 types of information that has potential clinical value:the assessment of real or mean blood pressure level, the diurnal rhythm of blood pressure, and the blood pressure variability. This article review s the roles of ABPM in the outcome assessment in patients w ith acute ischemic stroke.

Objective:
To investigate the reproductive and developmental toxicity of 2- (2H-1, 2, 3-benzotriazol-2-yl) -4-methyl-6- (2-methylpropen-2-yl) phenol in mice and to provide a basis for its risk assessment.
Methods:
The reproductive and developmental toxicity of 2- (2H-1, 2, 3-benzotriazol-2-yl) -4-methyl-6- (2-methylpropen-2-yl) phenol was tested using the screening method of chemicals with reproductive and developmental toxicity in "Chemical Testing Method" (SEPA). After five days of adaptive feeding, 120 specific pathogen-free healthy Kunming mice (male/female ratio=1:1) were orally administered 0 (control) , 146, 292, and 584 mg/kg 2- (2H-1, 2, 3-benzotriazol-2-yl) -4-methyl-6- (2-methylpropen-2-yl) phenol for two weeks. One male mouse was mated with one female mouse in a single cage. The day on which a vaginal plug was observed was defined as gestation day 0 (GD0). The exposure for female mice was sustained to four days postpartum and the exposure for male mice was sustained for two weeks after mating. The body weight, food intake, body length, tail length, and sex ratio were recorded and the reproductive index was calculated. The reproductive organs were weighed and subjected to histopathological examination.
Results:
The 584 mg/kg group had significantly lower body weight at weeks 5 and 6 and food intake at week 6 in male mice, uterus weight and uterus/body weight ratio in female mice, and body weight, body length, and tail length on day 0 in offspring compared with the control group (all

Genome shuffling methods were explored for Bacillus subtilis strain molecular breeding. Recycling protoplast fusion, recycling transformation and recycling universal transduction were used for genome shuffling in B. subtilis. Four strains with different nutrition-deficiency markers were used as initial strains. After five rounds protoplast fusion, transformation or transduction, the descendant with 4 markers had not been detected, and the rate of descendant with 3 markers were 4.53 x 10(-4), 1.64 x 10(-4), 4.47 x 10(-3), respectively. A computer program was made to simulate the recycling fusion process. Based on simulation result and comparing the genome shuffling result of B. subtilis in this experiment and that of Streptomyces coelicolor reported in references, effective genome shuffling needs a high recombination rate of at least between 10(-3) and 10(-2).

Guideline or consensus for the vaccination of children with special conditions like immunocompromised children may be more suitable for pediatricians. However, the vaccination of children in China is mainly performed by general practitioners or child health care practitioners in community health service centers. They need to master the screening knowledge of contraindications and precautions for the vaccination of children, and make the decision to referral to specialists.Based on the technical guidelines for Immunization of National Health Commission of the People′s Republic of China, Best Practices Guidance of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and contraindications and precautions proposed by the Immunization Action Coalition, 20 suggestions for primary screening of children with vaccination contraindications and referral recommendations for primary care providers were developed by experts from the Integration of Medicine and Prevention in Children of Health Commission of Shenzhen Municipality.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Jianpi Yichang power on the nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome signaling pathway in a rat model of ulcerative colitis (UC). MethodSixty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into a normal group (n=10) and an experimental group (n=50). The experimental group received 5% dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) solution freely for 7 days to induce UC, and then they were further randomly divided into model group, sulfasalazine (0.3 g·kg-1) group, and high-, medium-, and low-dose Jianpi Yichang power groups (54.4, 27.2, 13.6 g·kg-1) for continuous treatment of 14 days. The general condition of the rats was observed and recorded daily, and the disease activity index (DAI) was scored before and after treatment. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the levels of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and interleukin-18 (IL-18) in the serum of rats in each group. Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining was performed to observe the histopathological changes in the colon tissue. Immunohistochemistry, Western blot, and Real-time polymerase chain reaction (Real-time PCR) were used to detect the positive protein expression, protein expression, and mRNA expression of NLRP3, apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD (ASC), and cysteine aspartate-special proteases-1(Caspase-1) in the colon tissue. ResultCompared with the condition in the normal group, the general condition of rats in the model group was relatively poor, with increased DAI scores (P<0.01), pathological changes in the colon, increased levels of IL-1β and IL-18 in the serum (P<0.01), and enhanced positive protein expression, protein expression, and mRNA expression of NLRP3, ASC, and Caspase-1 in the colon tissue (P<0.01). Compared with the condition in the model group, the general condition of rats in the Jianpi Yichang power groups at various doses improved significantly, with reduced DAI scores (P<0.05, P<0.01), alleviated pathological changes in the colon as revealed by HE staining, and reduced protein expression levels of NLRP3 and Caspase-1 in the colon tissue (P<0.05, P<0.01). The serum levels of IL-1β and IL-18, and ASC protein expression in the colon, as well as the mRNA expression levels of NLRP3, ASC, and Caspase-1, decreased in the high- and medium-dose Jianpi Yichang power groups (P<0.05, P<0.01). The positive protein expression levels of NLRP3, ASC, and Caspase-1 were reduced in the high-dose Jianpi Yichang power group (P<0.01). The positive protein expression levels of ASC and Caspase-1 were reduced in the medium-dose Jianpi Yichang power group (P<0.05). The mRNA expression level of ASC was reduced in the low-dose Jianpi Yichang power group (P<0.05). ConclusionJianpi Yichang power can reduce colon immune inflammatory damage by regulating the NLRP3 inflammasome signaling pathway, thereby exerting a role in treating UC.
