2.RANDOM AMPLIFIED POLYMORPHIC DNA(RAPD)REVEALED THE HETEROKARYON OF AGARICUS ARVENSIS PRODUCED BY MATING REACTIONS
Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
s: The horse mushroom (Agaricus arvensis Schaeff ex Fr.) is one of most excellent edible mushroom, and was cultivated in world at resent year. But up to now,the breeding systems and life-cycle of horse mushroom has been poorly know.In this study, the random amplified polymorphic DNA was employed to analyse the mating reaction between self-fertile homokaryonic isolates by paired. The results demonstrated: (1) the mating reaction happened and the heterokaryonic offspring formed when the intercompatible self-fertile homokaryonic isolates were paired;(2) perhaps the horse mushroom is possessed of double breeding systems-homothallism and heterothallism;(3) RAPD is very effective method for verifying artificially synthesized heterokaryons and monitoring the transmission of genetic loci in mating of fungi.
3.Clinical analysis of posterior capsular rupture in small incision non -phacoemulsification cataract surgery
International Eye Science 2015;(8):1432-1434
AIM:To analyze the cause of posterior capsular rupture in small incision non - phacoemulsification cataract surgery and investigate the treatment methods.
METHODS: The clinical data of 108 cases ( 121 eyes ) undergone small incision non - phacoemulsification cataract surgery combined with intraocular lenses ( IOL) implantation were retrospectively analyzed. The causes of posterior capsular rupture and treatment of 6 patients (6 eyes) after surgery were analyzed and summarized.
RESULTS: Six cases ( 6 eyes, 4. 96%) occurred posterior capsular rupture during the operation, of which 2 cases ( 2 eyes ) underwent posterior chamber IOL implantation intraoperative, 2 cases (2 eyes) receivedIIstage IOL implantation in the ciliary sulcus at 1wk postoperative, 2 cases ( 2 eyes ) were given anterior chamber IOL implantation. One case ( 1 eye ) whose vision acuity <0. 1 was macular degeneration; One case ( 1 eye ) whose vision acuity = 0. 3 was diabetic retinopathy;0. 4~0. 6 in 2 cases (2 eyes), 0. 6~0. 8 in 2 cases (2 eyes) after 1 ~3mo postoperatively. No severe syndrome was found after surgery.
CONCLUSION:Posterior capsular rupture which occurs in different stages of the operation is the commonest intraoperative complication in small lincision non -phacoemulsification cataract surgery. With improving operative techniques, and continuously accumulating experience, incidence of posterior capsular rupture can be effectively reduced. Even posterior capsular rupture occurs intraoperative, patients can still get a good outcome after timely and proper treatment.
4.Corticosteroid-induced severe glaucoma and posterior subcapsular cataract: a case report
International Eye Science 2009;9(9):1652-1654
Corticosteroid-induced glaucoma (CIG) is a form of open angle glaucoma associated with both topical and systemic administration of corticosteroids. Here we described the clinical findings in a patient with severe glaucoma and posterior subcapsular cataract (PSC) after topical administration of corticosteroid eye drops. We concluded corticosteroid eye drop was an effective medicine for inflammation of the eyes; however, prolonged use could cause severe vision loss as a result of intractable corticosteroid-induced glaucoma and cataract.
5.The role of psychological stress and the hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis in the pathophysiology of central serous chorioretinopathy
International Eye Science 2009;9(5):809-811
Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) is characterized by serous detachment of the sensory retina as a consequence of the focal leakage of fluid from the choriocapillaries to subretinal space through a defect of the retinal pigment epithelium(RPE). The exact cause of CSC is not well unknown. Psychological stress is thought to contribute to CSC, but the physiologic mechanisms are unclear. It is hypothesized that psychological stress can induce CSC through the mechanism of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) system. Psychological stress can adversely affect HPA axis and causes glucocorticoid levels to elevate. Increased glucocorticoids constrict choroid vessels, which leads to ischemia of choroids and damage vascular endothelial cells, thus causing vasopermeability to increase. RPE dysfunction will occur as a result of abnormalities in the choroidal circulation. The large molecules including protein may enter the subretinal space through the damaged vessels and RPE.
6.Clinical observation of sitagliptin combined with insulin aspart 30 with in the treatment of secondary failure of sulphonylurea in type 2 diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2016;39(3):258-260
Objective To observe the effect of sitagliptin combined with insulin aspart 30 in the treatment of secondary failure of sulphonylurea in type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods Fifty-six cases were divided into group A and group B in random block design, with 28 cases of each group. The patients in group A was treated with sitagliptin combined with insulin aspart 30, while the patients in group B was given subcutaneous injection of insulin aspart 30R. All patients were treated for 12 weeks. Fasting plasma glucose(FPG), 2-hour postprandial plasma glucose(2 hPG), glycosylated hemeglobin(HbA1c), insulin secretion index (HOMA-β), body mass index (BMI), and incidence of low blood glucose before and after treatment were compared. Results Compared with that in group B, FPG [(5.61 ± 1.14) mmol/L vs. (7.8 ± 1.22) mmol/L], 2 hPG [(7.62 ± 1.35) mmol/L vs(9.72 ± 1.41) mmol/L] and HbA1c [(7.11 ± 0.83)%vs.(8.32 ± 1.04)%] in group A had a significant decrease;HOMA-β[(50.31 ± 5.12) vs. (41.86 ± 4.53)] of group A was higher than that of group B (P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To explore the roles of Notch2,Notch4 in hyperoxia induced lung injury in premature rats. Methods At the postnatal 1 day Sprague-Dawley premature rats were randomly assigned to about 85% hyperoxia group and air group. At the 1,7,14,21 days after exposed,8 rats of each group were used to evaluate expressions of Notch2,Notch4 in lungs by immunohistochemistry and the level of Nothch2,Notch4 mRNA by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results Expressions of Notch2,Notch4 had their rules in rats′ different stages of development;85% oxygen exposed would change their tracks. Conclusion Prolonged 85% oxygen exposure result in abnormal expressions of Notch2 and Notch4 ,which is likely to lead to the pathogenesis of hyperoxic lung injure in premature rats.
