3.Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation following reduced intensity conditioning regimen as salvage therapy for refractory leukemia
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2009;18(2):65-68
Several hot questions such as selection of patients and favorable time of transplantation, design of conditioning regimen, monitoring of chimerism and complication of graft versus host disease (GVHD) in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation following reduced intensity regimen (RIC-HSCT) as salvage therapy for refractory leukemia are discussed in this article. More and more investigators began to recognize that it was not a fundamental to undergo transplantation in complete remission for patients with refractory leukemia, since it may expend patients' physical status. RIC-HSCT may be substantially considered as a kind of adoptive immunotherapy, so that immunologic attacking targets and the latency of immunoreactian must be considered when making the decision to use, lacking of attacking targets and rapidly growing diseases seemed to be less susceptible to control. Commonly used reduced intensity regimens differed significantly, but it was clear that dose intensity was very important in refractory leukemia. In fact, many investigators used intermediate dosage between criteria of non-myeloablative and conventional myeloablative regimens. Complete donor chimerism is the hallmark of engraftment but often delayed in RIC-HSCT. Since sustained complete donor chimerism induced persistent graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) effect play an important role in patients' long-term survival, it was recommended that sensitive techniques (eg. STR-PCR) should be used to analysis chimerism and should be measured more frequently (every 2-4 weeks), and lineage-specific chimerism (eg. T cell) analysis was also recommended. As compared with traditional HSCT, the incidences of acute and chronic GVHD are similar and the onset of GVHD is associated with the GVL effect. Decrease or interruption of immunosuppressive drugs early after transplantation and donor lymphocyte infusion may facilitate transformation to complete donor chimerism, so that it may benefit patients with advanced disease at time of transplantation from avoiding disease relapse in one hand, but may induce GVHD in the other hand.
4.Origin, distribution and progression of abnormal clone with the myelodysplastic syndrome
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2008;17(2):147-149
The myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS) comprise a heterogeneous group of clonal disorders.A unique aspect of MDS is the notion that both bone marrow failure and the propensity toward development of acute leukemia coexist. Origin of abnormal clone with MDS occurs at the level of multipotent progenitors or above it. Recently some kinds of MDS were observed the abnormal clone has been potentially originated from normal CD+34 CD-38 Thy-1 + hematopoietic stem cells. The abnormal clones with different chromosomal abnormality have different distribution. With the propotion of abnormal clonality increasing MDS has aggravated. Coherent result will provide new insight into the clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of MDS by strengthening the research of MDS clonality.
5.Research progress of pharmacokinetic study on paeoniflorin
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2014;(12):1646-1650
Total glucosides of paeony (TGP)is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis(RA)as the first immunoregulatory drug in clinic. The efficacy of TGP in treating RA patients is definite, which is accompanied with mild adverse reaction and slow effects simultaneously.Paeoniflorin (Pae ),the main constituents of TGP,has a bioavailability of 3% ~4%,which may be served as the main reason for its slow effects. Therefore,in this paper, the pharmacokinetics of Pae as well as its influencing factors were re-viewed on basis of pulished papers. In addition, some problems about Pae were also discussed.
6.A clinical survey on application of diagnosis and treatment guidelines of acquired pneumonia in cerebrovascular disease combined communities in partial areas of Shenyang
Clinical Medicine of China 2015;(2):100-102
Objective To survey the application of diagnosis and implementation of treatment guidelines of cerebrovascular disease( CAD)combined community acquired pneumonia( CAP)in the community of Shenyang. Methods Randomly chose 7 hospitals in different levels in districts and counties of Shenyang, and made a retrospective survey on the treatments of CAD combined CAP from Oct. 2009 to Jun. 2012 to clear the implementation. Meanwhile, the collected cases were divided into in compliance with guidelines group and non compliance with guidelines group. The information including clinical stable time, length of hospital stay, efficient treatment, empiric therapy and prognosis with the help of guidelines were collected. Results Four hundred and eighty-eight cases were qualified from collected 532 cases,in which,38. 5% initial diagnosis and treatment was accord with the guidelines formulated by the Respiratory Branch of Chinese Medical Association. The efficiency of initial empirical treatment was 84. 5%. The clinical stable time in compliance with guidelines group was (5. 00 ± 0. 27)d,better than that in non compliance with guidelines group((8. 00 ± 0. 45)d;P=0. 021). The length of hospital stay was(11. 00 ± 0. 25)d in compliance with guidelines group, significantly less than that in non compliance with guidelines group(( 14. 00 ± 0. 53 ) d;P =0. 015 ). The effective rate of patients with respiratory failure in compliance with guidelines group was 90. 9%,higher than non compliance with guidelines group(58. 6%),and the difference was significant(P=0. 026),while there were no significant differences in terms of gender, heart and lung diseases. Conclusion There is the smaller patient proportion that diagnosed and cured in accordance with the guidelines formulated by the Respiratory Branch of Chinese Medical Association. It is no distinctive difference for the efficient treatment of guidelines. But selected antibiotic application according to the guidelines can improve the clinical stable time and hospital stay of CAD combined CAP,as well as reduce invalid cases and reduce the mortality rate. The guidelines need to be further extended.
7.Personality Correlates to Attributional Style in Undergraduates
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(01):-
Objective: To investigate the relationship between attributional style and personality. Methods: We measured undergraduates with Attributional Style Questionnaire(ASQ)and Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire(16-PF).Results: Students with high-sensitivity, high-insecurity, high-tension, anxiety, not tough poise and low marks in Mental Health are apt to have negative attributional style. These personalities are the nuclear personalities of negative attributional style. Students with high-suspiciousness, high-insecurity,anxiety and low marks in Academic Achievement and Adjustment are apt to attribute fatefully. Conclusion: The nuclear personalities for negative attributional style are high-sensitivity, high-insecurity, high-tension, anxiety, not tough poise and low marks in Mental Health.

9.Neuronal degeneration in inner retina of rats after photic injury
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2000;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the degenerative changes in the inner rat retina after photic injury. Methods After 24 hour-dark adaptation, sixty Lewis rats were exposed in a ventilated green plexiglass chamber that transmitted continuous green light between 480-520 nm with an intensity of 900~1 000 lx. After 24-hour exposure, the rats stayed in darkness and were sacrificed after 1 day, 3,7 or 14 days. The neurons in the inner retina were marked by immunohistochemical technique and observed by light and electronic microscope. Results The apoptotic photoreceptor cells were noted after photic injury. The degeneration and decreasing number of rod bipolar cells were found after 3 days; the edema of horizontal cells occurred after 1 day but ameliorated gradually; decreasing number of amacrine cells was found after 1 day; sustained edema of ganglion cells and prolifeeration of the M?ller cells were found after photic injury. Pyknotic and edematous neruronal degenerations of inner retina were found in ultrastructural study. Conclusion The neurons in the inner retina as well as M?ller cells are involved in the degeneration after photic injury. Different neurons manifest different patterns of degeneration.
10.Effects of peripheral inflammatory hyperalgesia on expression of GABA and its receptors in the rat spinal dorsal horn
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1996;0(09):-
Objective To study the changes in the expression of GABA and its receptors in the dorsal horn of rat spinal cord induced by hind paw formalin injection. Methods Twelve healthy male SD rats weighing 300-325 g were randomly divided into two groups: (A) control group (n=6) and (B) peripheral inflammatory hyperalgesia group in which 5% formalin 50?l was injected subcutaneously into the plantar region of right hind paw to produce persistent pain(n=6). The animals were killed 24h after formalin injection. L_(4-6) segment of the spinal cord was removed. The number of GABA immuno-reactive cells was examined by immuno-cytochemistry technique and the exprpession of GABA_(A?3) and GABA_(B1) receptor mRNA in the spinal dorsal horn were determined by in situ hybridization. Results In control group(A), GABA immuno-reactive cells and GABA_(A?3) and GABA_(B1) receptor mRNA were observed throughout the lumbar spinal dorsal horn. The density of GABA immuno-reactive cells and GABA_(B1) receptor mRNA was highest in the superficial laminae Ⅰ-Ⅲ; while the GABA_(A?3) receptor mRNA was evenly distributed in the spinal dorsal horn. In group B, 24h after formalin injection there was a significant increase in the GABA immuno-reactive cells in the ipsilateral spinal dorsal horn. The expression of GABA_(A?3) and GABA_(B1) receptor mRNA were significantly increased in bilateral dorsal horn compared to group A. The three parameters were positively correlated and their locations in the spinal dorsal horn were not significantly different from those in group A. Conchusion GABA and its receptors may play an important role in nociceptive modulation.
