Objective To study the change of interleakin-18 (IL-18) in patients of pregnancy induced hypertension syndrome(PIH) and its correlation with endothelint-1 (ET-1). Methods Serum levels of IL-18 and plasma levels of ET-1 in 47 PIH patients and 30 normal pregnancy women were measured with ELISA and RSA respectively. Results (1)Serum IL-18 of PIH group (M=43.76 ng/L) was significantly higher than that of normal pregnancy group (M=37.975 ng/L) , H=42.845,P

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1976;14(4):395-399
We presented a case of Reiters syndrome consisting of conjunctivitis, arthritis and mucocutaneous lesions, occurring in 49 year-old Korean male. He had an pisode of dysentery 18 months before the onset of the syndrome and later followed by transient conjunctivitis but no history of venereal disease was revealed. He had the relatively well demarcated erythematous scaly patches on the scalp, face and back, and also the solitary or confluent thickened hyperkeratotic plaques on the dorsum of the feet and hands and lower extremities. Balanitis circinata as .a lesion of the mucous membrane, was seen but there were no lesions on the oral mucosa and palate. Arthritis of the knee and elbow joints were very scvere, accompanied by severe pain and limited motion, and severe wasting and weakness of the muscles of both lower extremities were noticed. He was treated with penicillin and corticosteroids systemically combined witb physiotherapy with some improvement of both skin lesions and joint pain but he died 3 months later probably of the far advanced pulmonary tuberculosis, gastrointestinal bleeding and cachexia.

Objective To investigate the feasibility and results of the application of both expanded cutaneous flap and temporoparietal fascia flap in total ear reconstruction with Medpor framework. Methods The main procedures consisted of three stages:stage Ⅰ-skin expansion, stage Ⅱ auricle formation that consisted of orientation of Medpor implant and creation of coverage for the implant by both expaned skin flap and temporoparietal fascia flap, and stage Ⅲ-treatment of residual ear and recontruction of auricular lobule. Results Twenty-two ears in 22 unilateral microtia patients were constructed using Medpor implants covered with both expanded cutaneous flap and temporoparietal fascia flap over the last three years, and they were accepted as pleasing by the patients. Conclusions Application of both expanded cutaneous flap and temporoparietal fascia flap can assure no extrusion of Medpor implant in ear reconstruction.Further more, the two layers of transferred tissues will not affect the profile details of the reconstructed ear.And because the skin covering the framework and fascia is derived from frommastoid region, the appearance and profile of the reconstructed auricle is true to nature and close to that of the opposite one.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(19):3772-3776
Eight phenolic compounds were isolated from Rhododendron phaeochrysum var. agglutinatum and their sructures were identified as phaeochrysin (1), (2R)-4-(3',4'-dihydroxyphenyl) -2-butanol (2), (-) -rhododendrol (3), rhododendrin (4), (+) -isolariciresinol (5), (-) -lyoniresinol (6), lyoniresinol-9'-O-β-D-xylopyranoside (7), and dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl-3a-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (8). Compound 1 is new, and compounds 2, 5-8 were isolated from this plant for the first time.

Herald of Medicine 2016;35(4):349-352
Objective To observe the effects of sevoflurane and propofol on cerebral oxygen metabolism and postoperative cognitive function during cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB). Methods Fifty ASA Ⅱ or Ⅲ patients aged 40-65 years old scheduled for cardiac valve replacement surgery with CPB were randomly assigned into two groups, sevoflurane group (group S) and propofol group (group P),25 in each group. Two groups of patients used the same method of anesthesia induction:midazolam 0.1 mg?kg-1,sufentanil 0.7 μg?kg-1,vecuronium 0.1 mg?kg-1,and etomidate 0.2 mg?kg-1 were intravenously injected successively, and then tracheal intubation was performed. For maintenance of anesthesia, patients of group S continuously inhaled 3%-4% sevoflurane, and patients of group P were intravenous pumped with propofol 4-6 mg?kg-1?h-1 via vein;midazolam, sufentanil and vecuronium bromide were intermittently injected in both groups. At the time points of pre-bypass (t1), nasopharynx temperature dropping to constant temperature regularly ( t2 ) ,nasopharynx temperature rising to constant temperature regularly ( t3 ) ,1 h after the end of CPB ( t4 ) ,and 6 h after the end of CPB ( t5 ) ,blood from radial artery and right jugular bulb was harvested for blood gas analysis, and mini-mental state examination( MMSE) score were evaluated before and 24 and 48 h after the surgery. Results The jugular venous bulb oxygen saturation( SjvO2 ) in the two groups were both increased during T2 period and then decreased during t3 period, but arteriovenous oxygen content difference ( AVDO2 ) and oxygen extraction rate (O2ER) were both decreased during t2 period and then increased during t3 period. There was no significant difference between the two groups during t2 and t3 period (P>0.05).MMSE scores of the two groups after operation were all less than those before operation, but that was significantly higher in the sevoflurane group than in the propofol group 24 h after the surgery ( t=4.34,P<0.05) . Conclusion The two anesthesia methods can meet the need of valve replacement surgery and maintain the cerebral oxygen balance during CPB period, but sevoflurane anesthesia has fewer influences in post-operation mental nerve functional changes.
