Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(10):-
Objective To understand the testing capability for organochlorine pesticides of the food inspection labs in China. Methods The CNCA organized the proficiency testing(PT) of determination of heptachlor, aldrin and dieldrin in the vegetable oils. 21 labs from 14 provinces (cities) took part in the PT. The GC method prescribed by official method of AOAC was recommended, other method was also permitted. Results The PT showed that 81.0%-85.7% labs presented satisfactory results, 9.5% had questionable results and 4.8%-9.5% had dissatisfactory results. Conclusion Most of the labs that took part in the PT have good competence in analyzing organochlorine pesticides.
2.Clinical observation on medulla oblongata palsy after brainstem infarction treated with electroacupuncture at eight-neck-occiput points.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(6):539-542
OBJECTIVETo compare the differences in the efficacy on speech and swallowing dysfunction of medulla oblongata palsy (MOP) after brainstem infarction between electroacupuncture at eight-neck-occiput points and routine acupoints.
METHODSSeventy-two patients were randomized into a neck-occiput points group and a meridian points group, 36 cases in each one. In the neck-occiput points group, the eight-neck-occiput points (Neck 1-4 points, Occiput 1-4 points) were selected. In the meridian points group, Lianquan (CV 23), Futu (LI 18), Tongli (HT 5), Hegu (LI 4) and the others were selected. Electroacupuncture was used in the two groups, dense-dispersion wave, retaining for 30 min. The treatment was given once a day, 5 treatments a week. Totally, 4 weeks were required. The symptom scores of speech and swallowing dysfunction were observed before and after treatment in the two groups. The efficacy was compared between the two groups.
RESULTSThe scores of speech and swallowing dysfunction were improved significantly after treatment in the two groups (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The results in the neck-occiput points group were better than those in the meridian points group (both P < 0.01). The curative rate of speech dysfunction was 30.6% (11/36) and that of swallowing dysfunction was 22.2% (8/ 36) in the neck-occiput points group, which were better than 11.1% (4/36) and 5.6% (2/36) in the meridian points group, respectively. The differences were significant in comparison of the two groups (P < 0.01, P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONElectroacupuncture at eight-neck-occiput points achieves a better efficacy on speech and swallowing dysfunction of MOP after brainstem infarction as compared with the routine acupoints. This therapy is characterized as more accurate point localization and safer operation.

3.Surgical Intervention Combined with Steroid Therapy on Persistent Jaundice in Infantile Hepatitis
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(20):-
Objective To investigate the effect of surgical intervention combined with steroid therapy on infantile hepatitis(INS) with persistent jaundice. Methods Twenty-two patients (19 males,3 females, aged 2-6 months) with persistent jaundice(therapy group) were admitted into hospital in the period of Jan.2007-Dec.2008.The patients were performed with surgical intervention after they were confirmed with diagnosis as INS.Then, sodium chloride, gentamicin and Dexamethasone were used to irrigate the biliary tract during and after the operation for 14 days.Three days after operation,20 mg,15 mg,10 mg,5 mg of methylprednisolone were administered intravenously to the patients every 3 days, followed with 4 mg/(kg?d) prednisone by oral for 2-3 months. The 17 cases of INS with persistent jaundice were treated with medicine as control(control group).By following-up,the jaundice free and 2 years survival rate of 2 groups were compared by counting the cases of jaundice free and recording the survival time. Results Two cases of 22 patients performed with surgical intervention were diagnosed as biliary atresia and others were INS,90.0% patients were free of jaundice in surgical intervention combined with steroid therapy group, which was higher than that in control group(52.9%,P

Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2014;30(6):511-515
The aims of this paper were to define (1) criteria of cerebral palsy; (2) classification of cerebral palsy; (3) etiology, neuroimaging, and epidemiology of cerebral palsy; (4) different kinds of treatments of cerebral palsy. Data were drawn from an international survey of PUBMED (1994-2014) and CNKI (1994-2014). An expert panel used a consensus building technique. The10-point Jadad scale was used to assess the quality of the trials based on the following items, including allocation sequence generation, randomization concealment, methods of blinding, and descriptions of withdrawals and dropouts. Our clinical experience was also summarized. Below is a summary. (1) Further work is warranted to reach agreement for the classification of cerebral palsy. (2) A worldwide prevalence of 1.5-4.0 per 1 000 live births, with an average lifetime cost of 1 million dollars per person in the United States, while it is 1.8-6.0 per 1000 live births in China. (3) Comparison of clinical efficacy of different treatments. In this review, the current advances in different kind of treatments of brain injury are discussed with specific relevance to cerebral palsy.

Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2013;(1):4-7
Objective Arrhythmias are one of the main causes of postoperative morbidity after thoracic surgery. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery decreases the risk of postoperative arrhythmias compared with traditional open lung lobectomy. Methods 138 consecutive patients were enrolled from January 2011 to February 2012,after five age and risk factors matched,68 patients undergoing video-assisted thoracic surgery and 70 patients undergoing traditional open lung lobectomy were eligible for analysis. The rhythm was documented preoperatively and postoperatively with standard electrocardiogram (ECG) recording and ECG monitoring. All patients followed 3 months after hospital admission. Results There was a 17.6% incidence (12/68) of postoperative new-onset arrhythmias undergoing video-assisted thoracic surgery and 18.6% of patients (13/70) undergoing thoracotomy, but the difference was not statistically significant. In both groups, atrial fibrillation was the most common arrhythmia (60%).There was no significant difference in the other morbidity (P >0.05) and mortality rate(P =0.57,1.5% vs 2.9%) between the two groups. Conclusion New-onset arrhythmias, most frequently atrial fibrillation, are common after lung lobectomy.Regardless of surgical approach, postoperative arrhythmias after lobectomy occurred with equal frequency.New insights in the pathophysiology of postoperative thoracic arrhythmias and advances in prevention and therapy are need future study.

Chinese Journal of Microbiology and Immunology 2013;(8):627-633
Objective To investigate whether HIV-1 Nef could promote the angiogenesis and tu-morigenesis induced by KSHV vIL-6 through regulating PTEN/PI3K signaling pathway .Methods Lipo-some transfection was used to transfect cDNA of pPTEN , dominant-negative ( DN) construct of PI3K and control vector into endothelial cells , which stably express KSHV vIL-6 and HIV-1 Nef.Microtubule forma-tion assay and chicken chorioallantoic membrane ( CAM) assay were used to evaluate microtubule formation and angiogenesis , respectively .Expressions of PTEN and PI 3 K were measured by Western blot .Results Both overexpression of PTEN and inhibited expression of PI 3K suppressed the vIL-6-induced microtubule for-mation and angiogenesis in CAM mediated by Nef .Conclusion HIV-1 Nef enhances vIL-6-induced angio-genesis and tumorigenesis through regulating PTEN/PI3K signaling pathway .
