Object To investigate the saponin from the seeds of Trigonella foenum graecum Linn (STFG) Methods The total saponin from STFG was extracted and purified by using the absorptive resin, the single saponin was isolated by using the column chromatography as well as dry column chromatography of silica gel H The chemical structure was elucidated by 13 CNMR , FAB MS, DEPT spectroscopic evidence and the results of fraction hydrolysis of acquiring their secondary glucosides Results A new saponin A from the total saponin has been obtained, the fraction hydrolysis carried out and the secondary glucoside Ⅰ and Ⅱ identified by determining the structure of saponin A The chemical structure of saponin A is: diosgenin 3 O ? L rhamnopyranosyl(1→4) ? D glucopyranosyl(1→4) ? D glucopyranoside The secondary glucoside Ⅰ is: diosgenin 3 O ? D glucopyranoside; Ⅱ is: diosgenin 3 O ? D glucopyranosyl(1→4) ? D glucopyranoside Conclusion Glucoside A is a new saponin with three molecules of sugar

Object To do detail investigation of the saponins from the Chinese materia medica Huluba (the seeds of Trigonella foenum graecum L ) Methods The pure saponins from the total saponins were isolated by employing the column chromatography and dry column chromatography of silica gel H Their chemical structures were elucidated by 13 C NMR , FAB MS, DEPT spectroscopic evidence and the results of the fraction hydrolysis of acquiring their secondary glucosides were obtained Results Two new saponins B and C were isolated and both were the glucosides consisted by four molecules of sugar with diosgenin The chemical structure of B is: diosgenin 3 O ? L rhamnopyranosyl (1→3) ? L rhamnopyranosyl (1→4) ? D glucopyranosyl (1→4) ? D glucopyranoside And saponin C is: diosgenin 3 O ? D glucopyranosyl (1→4) ? L rhamnopyranosyl (1→4) ? D glucopyranosyl (1→4) ? D glucopyranoside Conclusion Saponins B and C are two new ones with four molecules of sugar respectively

Objective To investigate the saponins from the Chinese materia medica Huluba (the seeds of Trigonella foenum-graecum L.). Methods To isolate and purify the single saponin by the column chromatography and dry column chromatography of silica gel H. The structural elucidation was carried on by spectroscopic evidence of (()~(13)C-NMR), FAB-MS, DEPT and the results of the fraction-hydrolysis of acquiring the secondary glucosides. Results The newly isolated saponin D was consisted by six molecules of sugar with diosgenin. The chemical structure of saponin D is: diosgenin-3-O-?-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→3)-?-D-glucopyranosyl (1→4)-?-L-rhamnopyranosyl [(1→3)-?-L-rhamnopyranosyl] (1→4)-?-D-glucopyranosyl (1→4)-?-D-glucopyranoside. Conclusion Saponin D is a new one consisted of six molecules of su-(gar) with diosgenin.

Objective To improve the 2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride (TTC) solution method for measuring the viability of Cistanche deserticola seeds and investigate the change in viability during storage at 5 ℃. Methods The effect of the testa,TTC concentration, sodium hypochlorite concentration (NaClO),and staining time were studied, and seed viability during storage at 5 ℃ was measured with the improved method. Results Seeds were kept for 48 h in 0.5% TTC solution at 40 ℃,and then for 2 h in 0.2% NaClO solution;Seed viability was measured under a stereomicroscope. Storing seeds of C. deserticola for 1 to 2 years at 5 ℃ had no significant effects on their viability. However, the percentage of seeds with high viability was increased with the extension of the storage time at 5 ℃. Conclusion A convenient and rapid method for measuring the viability of C. deserticola seeds is developed. Storing C. deserticola seeds at 5 ℃ could improve their viability

Objective To investigate the applicability of zebra fish thrombosis model in antithrombotic activity screening of Chinese materia medica. Methods The living zebra fish thrombosis model was induced by adrenaline hydrochloride. Zebra fish were randomly divided into blank control group, model group, positive medicine group and medication group. Each group was given the corresponding medicine or embryo culture water. O-anisidine staining solution was used to stain and calculate the staining intensity of erythrocytes in zebra fish heart, and quantitative analysis was carried out. The platelet aggregation of transgenic zebra fish was observed and under qualitative analysis. Results Compared with the model group, 100μg/mL salvianolic acid B, 300, 900μg/mL aqueous extract of Salvia miltiorrhiza, 45μg/mL 95% ethanol extract and 400, 1200μg/mL hypothalamus could significantly inhibited the formation of zebra fish thrombosis (P<0.01).ConclusionZebra fish thrombosis model has good applicability in antithrombotic activity screening of Chinese materia medica.

Objective:By comparing preoperative high resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination with postoperative pathologic results, to investigate the effects of MRI examination evaluation on the anatomical level and clinical outcome. Methods:We conducted a retrospective study on 72 patients who underwent resection of rectal cancer at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University between Apr 2017 and Nov 2018, including 35 patients undergoing laparoscopic resection and 37 patients doing open resection. All cases received high resolution MRI examination before operation. The diagnostic accuracy of MRI, operation safety, and the short-term outcomes were analyzed. Results:There were no postoperative tumor recurrence. The accuracy rate of preoperative MRI evaluation of T stage was 85%, and positive N+ was 74%. There were no difference in postoperative complications between the open resection group and laparoscopic resection group (29% vs. 22%, χ 2=0.463, P=0.496). The proximal and distal margin was negative, postoperative circumferential resection margin and preoperative mesorectal fascia was consistent, the distance between the lower margin of the tumor and the anal right angle measured by MRI were consistent with the distance between the tumor from the dentate line. Conclusion:High resolution MRI with a good tissue resolution, has a high preoperative diagnosis accuracy for T and N staging of the low rectal cancer, with decisive role in the evaluation on the anatomical level, improving the quality and safy of surgery.

The incidence of testicular infarction secondary to epididymal-orchitis is extremely low. It usually manifests as acute testicular enlargement and pain, which requires differentation with testicular tumors and testicular torsion. This article reported a case with 10 days unsatisfied conservative treatment. Scrotal exploration operation revealed no obvious formation of abscess cavity. Subdivision of spermatic cord sheath, testicular sheath reversal drainage, and testicular sheath decompression treatment were performed. The pain of the patient relieved significantly after surgery. No abnormality was recorded within 6 months follow-up.
