1.Research on serum TSGF levels in healthy people and cancer patients in Guangzhou area

Objective To investigate the results of tumor specific growth factor(TSGF) levels in in healthy people and cancer patients in Guangzhou areas .Methods The serum TSGF levels of 6 615 health check-up receivers and 287 patients with cancer in the hospital from July 2012 to June 2013 were detected .Results In health check-up receivers ,the level and positive rate of TSGF were higher in >40-50 age women .The level and positive rate of TSGF in men were increased with age .The levels of TSGF in pa-tients with lung cancer ,liver cancer and digestive system tumor were higher than that in health check-up receivers(P<0 .01) ,but there has no statistically difference between genital system cancer patients and healthy check-up receivers(P>0 .05) .Conclusion Performing TSGF test in health examination is great significance to the early diagnosis of malignant tumors .The reference value range of TSGF should be set according to different gender and age .
2.The expression and significance of serum ghrelin, leptin, IGF-1, and IGFBP3 in children with idiopathic short stature

Objective To examine the expressions of serum growth hormone (ghrelin), leptin (LP), in sulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 (IGFBP3) in children with id-iopathic short stature (ISS), and their significance. Methods A total of 40 patients with ISS were selected from May. 2012 to Oct. 2014 in Fuyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital, while a total of 40 children in good health were selected as the control group. Serum ghrelin and LP levels were measured by ELISA. Serum IGF-1 and IGF-BP3 levels were detected by chemiluminescence immune assay. Results were analyzed statistically. Results The height, weight, BMI, GH, serum LP, IGF-1, and IGFBP3 levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, while serum ghrelin expression level was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The correlation analysis showed that ghrelin and LP were negatively correlated(r=-0.611, P<0.01), ghrelin and IGF-1 levels were negatively correlated(r=-0.520, P<0.05), Ghrelin and IGFBP3 were pos-itively correlated (r=0.586, P<0.01), IGF-1 and IGFBP3 was negatively correlated (r=-0.576, P<0.01), and LP and IGFBP3 were negatively correlated (r=-0.609, P<0.01). Conclusions It shows that ghrelin, LP, IGF-1, and IGFBP3 levels in children with ISS are related to growth hormone secretion status. The interactions between ghre-lin and insulin-like growth factor axis regulate growth and development of children.
3.Perceived stress and coping style in college students with psychosis-risk syndrome

Objective:To investigate the characteristics of perceived stress and coping style and their relationship withsymptoms in college students with psychosis-risk syndrome (PRS).Methods:A two-stage screening process was conducted in 3160 college students.Participants were screened with 16-Item Version of the Prodromal Questionnaire (PQ-16).The students with scores of PQ-16 ≥9 were further interviewed with Structured Interview for Prodromal Syndromes (SIPS).Twenty-two individuals who met the criteria of PRS on SIPS were enrolled as the PRS group.The control group (n =22) were randomly selected from the participants with scores of PQ-16 <9 who were matched with age,gender and education level.Two groups were assessed with Chinese Perceived Stress Scale (CPSS),Trait Coping Style Questionnaire (TCSQ) and Self-rating depression scale (SDS) to measure subjective stress,coping style and depressive symptoms.Results:PRS group reported higher CPSS total scores [(34 ± 8)vs.(22 ± 8)] and negative coping styles scores [(35 ± 5)vs.(28 ± 7)],and lowerTCSQ positive coping styles scores [(31 ±6)vs.(37 ±4)] than the controls (Ps <0.05).The CPSS scores in PRS group were positively correlated with the scores of negative coping style (r =0.57,P <0.01),and the SDS scores were positively correlated with CPSS total scores and scores of negative coping style (r--0.86,0.66,Ps < 0.01).There was no significant relation of psychosis-risk symptoms to scores of CPSS and TCSQ (P >0.05).Conclusion:It suggests that college students with PRS have a higher perceived stress and tend to use more negative coping style,which may be positively correlated with depression.
4.The application status quo of structured education in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

5.Methodology Comparison Study on Two Analysis Systems of Procalcitonin

Objective To evaluate the comparability of the test results of two immunoassay systems based on the electrochemical luminescence and the fluorescence lateral flow immunoassay for serum procalcitonin (PCT).Methods Roche cobas system was used as the reference system,and fluorescence lateral flow immunoassay system of Shanghai Upper biotech company was used as evaluated system.A total of 141 clinical samples during November,2015 were detected by the two systems to obtain the correlation coefficient and the Kappa values at the two cutoff values(0.5,2.0 ng/ml).Results The two systems showed high correlation (Y=1.008X-0.032,r=0.995,P<0.001) and low deviation (t=-0.230,P=0.819>0.05) without statistic significance between two methods.Kappa values were 0.944,0.943 respectively at the two cutoff values (0.5,2.0 ng/ml).Conclusion The test results showed no significant difference between the two immunoassay systems,suggesting a consistency between them for clinical detection of PCT.All the observed indicators reached the clinical diagnostic requirements and the method of quantitative detection of PCT by fluorescence lateral flow immunoassya can be applied for the quick detection of clinical human PCT.
6.Difference of miRNA expression profile in plasma between Tibetan and Han nationality

Objective To measure and compare the expression profdes of plasma miRNA between Tibetan and Han nationality.Methods Plasma samples were taken from 246 healthy Tibetans and 128 Han individuals.The randomly selected 50 Tibetan and Han plasma samples were pooled respectively and the levels of 754 miRNAs were examined using a TaqMan Low Density Array.Two markedly differentially expressed miRNAs,miR-130a-3p and miR-629-5p,were verified in all the plasma samples by individual qRT-PCR.Results The Low Density Array results showed that the correlation coefficient of expression profiles of plasma miRNA for the Tibetan and Han population was 0.592.Compared with Han population,the expression levels of 139 miRNAs were distinctly different,in Tibetan (62 up-regulated and 77 down-regulated).The levels of miR-130a-3p and miR-629-5p were further verified to be significantly higher in the plasma from Tibetans than those in the plasma from Han population [(467 ± 27.30) × 10-5 vs (236 ± 9.69) × 10-5,p < 0.01;(14.67 ±0.94) × 10-5 vs(7.58 ± 0.52) × 10-5,P < 0.01] by qRT-PCR assay.Conclusion There may be marked difference of plasma miRNA expression profile between Tibetan and Han nationality.The influence of the nationality factors on miRNA profiles should be taken into account in the application of miRNAs in clinical detection in the future.
7.Research progress on tissue engineering in repairing tempomandibular joint.

Temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA) is mainly manifested as perforation of temporomandibular joint disc (TMJD) and destruction of condylar osteochondral complex (COCC). In recent years, tissue engineering technology has become one of the effective strategies in repairing this damage. With the development of scaffold material technology, composite scaffolds have become an important means to optimize the performance of scaffolds with the combined advantages of natural materials and synthetic materials. The gelling method with the minimally invasive concept can greatly solve the problems of surgical trauma and material anastomosis, which is beneficial to the clinical transformation of temporomandibular joint tissue engineering. Extracellular matrix scaffolds technology can solve the problem of scaffold source and maximize the simulation of the extracellular environment, which provides an important means for the transformation of temporo joint tissue engineering to animal level. Due to the limitation of the source and amplification of costal chondrocytes, the use of mesenchymal stem cells from different sources has been widely used for temporomandibular joint tissue engineering. The fibrochondral stem cells isolated from surface layer of articular cartilage may provide one more suitable cell source. Transforming growth factor β superfamily, due to its osteochondrogenesis activity has been widely used in tissue engineering, and platelet-rich derivative as a convenient preparation of compound biological factor, gradually get used in temporomandibular joint tissue engineering. With the deepening of research on extracellular microenvironment and mechanical stimulation, mesenchymal stem cells, exosomes and stress stimulation are increasingly being used to regulate the extracellular microenvironment. In the future, the combination of complex bioactive factors and certain stress stimulation may become a trend in the temporomandibular joint tissue engineering research. In this article, the progress on tissue engineering in repairing COCC and TMJD, especially in scaffold materials, seed cells and bioactive factors, are reviewed, so as to provide information for future research design and clinical intervention.

Objective To evaluate the effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell (BMSC) on the expression of interleukin (IL)-10 and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α in mice with ischemia-reperfusion acute kidney injury (IR-AKI). Methods All mice were randomly divided into the sham operation group (control group), ischemia-reperfusion injury group (IRI group) and BMSC treatment group (BMSC group), with 6 mice in each group, respectively. The renal function and pathological changes of mice were detected. The cell apoptosis of renal tissues of mice was determined. The expression levels of serum IL-10 and TNF-α of mice were quantitatively measured. The mouse BMSC was randomly divided into the control and hypoxia-reoxygenation groups (IRI group), and the expression levels of IL-10 and TNF-α in cell supernatant were determined. Results The renal structure of mice was normal in the control group, severe damage was observed in the IRI group, and mild damage occurred in the BMSC group. Artemsia argyi Levl.et Vant is a commonly used Chinese herbal medicine and moxibustion raw material plant,so far has more than two thousand years of medicinal history,as one of the most commonly used Chinese medicinal materials.The incopat patent database was used to search the worldwide patent data of the last 20 years,and a total of 25279 argyi related patents were retrieved.The pattern of argyi patents was analyzed from the perspectives of global application trend,main technical fields,national economy composition,applicant ranking,patent value and other aspects by means of graph combination.The analysis shows that the innovation and development of argyi is in the stage of rapid development;The medical,Chinese patent medicine,cosmetics and physiotherapy of argyi are the hot research and development of current technology;There are a large number of patents related to argyi in the world,but they are mainly distributed in China and South Korea.Among them,the number of patents related to argyi in China reaches 20381,far higher than that in other countries,but the number of high-value patents is not very large,and the value and quality of patents are still insufficient compared with other countries.From the perspective of the current development trend of argyi,with the deepening of clinical application recognition and scientific research of argyi,there is a large patent space in the field of argyi.Patent applicants can formulate corresponding patent application strategies according to the global development opportunities,technological development status and existing weaknesses.
10.Clinical analysis of non-small cell lung cancer patients with leptomeningeal metastasis

Objective:To investigate the treatment, safety and prognosis of advanced non-small cell lung cancer patients with leptomeningeal metastasis and performance status score more than 3.Methods:The clinical data of 6 NSCLC patients with leptomeningeal metastasis admitted to the People's Hospital of Wuhan University from November 2016 to September 2018 were analyzed retrospectively. The curative effect and adverse reactions were observed, and the prognosis was analyzed.Results:There were 5 females and 1 male among 6 patients. The median age was 57 years old (46-74 years old). All 6 patients were diagnosed as stage Ⅳ lung adenocarcinoma. There were 3 patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 21 mutation, 2 patients with exon 19 mutation and one with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) fusion mutation. The time window of leptomeningeal metastasis occurred after the progression of adenocarcinoma of lung: 3 cases was more than 12 months, the other 3 cases was less than 12 months, and the average was 20.3 month. Performance status score was more than 3 when leptomeningeal metastasis occurred. The brain magnetic resonance imaging of 6 patients showed linear enhancement of leptomeningeal, cancer cells were found in cerebrospinal fluid in one case, 4 cases were treated with a combination of bevacizumab and EGFR-tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR-TKI), 1 case was treated with oral administration of EGFR-TKI, 1 case was treated with oral administration of EGFR-TKI combined with temozolomide. The median overall survival (mOS) was 9 months (2-13 months), and the median progression free survival was 6 months (2-11 months).Conclusion:Lung adenocarcinoma may be prone to leptomeningeal metastasis; for NSCLC patients with leptomeningeal metastasis and performance status score more than 3, a combination of EGFR-TKI and bevacizumab has good tolerance, high safety and considerable curative effect.
