Objective]To prove that Fujian Province is also a natural focus of Pagumogonimus veocularis(Pv).[Methods]The adult worms were obtained from a cat fed with Pv metacercariae.[Results]Pv were found in Jianou,Fujian Province. All 1 873 Semisulcospira libertina showed negative. The positive rate of Tricula fujianensis and Erhaia jianouenensis were 0.10%(1/695) and 0.25%(5/2 038), respectively. The main crab host was S.fujianensis.Ps alone and mixed infection with Pv were found in the Sinopotamon ,the infection rates were 36.8%(43/117)and 20.5%(24/117), respectively. The numbers of the metacercariae were 806 and 40, respectively. A cat was infected with 12 metacercariae of Pv , eggs were found in the stool 56 days after infection, and 6 worms were found in the lungs 68 days after infection. [Conclusion]Fujian is one of the natural focus of Pv, cat is the adequate host. The fluke was identified as Pv according to the characteristics of the metacercariae.

To evaluate the therapeutic effect of using micro-implant anchorage (MIA) to rotate the functional occlusal plane (FOP) counterclockwise. Forty skeletal class Ⅱ high-angle patients who had completed orthodontic treatment were enrolled, including 20 patients treated with MIA orthodontic system (MIA group) and the other 20 patients treated with traditional sliding straight wire appliance (control group). Cephalometric measurements on the lateral cranial radiographs before and after treatment were performed, all acquired data were statistically analyzed with SPSS 26.0. At the end of treatment, MIA group obtained better effect of FOP and mandibular plane counter-clockwise rotation than the control group. In the MIA group, the average change of FOP-frankfort horizontal plane (FH), FOP-SN and mandibular plane angle (MP-FH) angle was -4.5(-7.3, -3.7)°, (3.3)° and -1.7(-3.0, -0.9)°, respectively. In the control group, the average change of FOP-FH, FOP-SN and MP-FH angle was -0.1(-4.1, 3.0)°, (-0.1±5.1)° and -0.4(-2.4, 0.7)°, respectively. There was significant difference between the change of the two groups (all <0.05). Compared with the traditional sliding straight wire appliance, counterclockwise rotation of FOP can be more effectively reversed by using MIA orthodontic system, and the MP-FH can be reduced as well.

Objective To investigate the clinical, imaging and pathological characteristics of angiocentric gliomas (AG) in Chinese patients, and provide opinions for diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Methods Eight patients with AG confirmed by histology in our hospital from January 1,2011 to March 31,2015,were chosen in our study;the clinical, imaging, and pathological data were retrospectively analyzed. Results In these 8 patients, one had onset of dizzy giddy and the other 7 had onset of epilepsy.T1-weighted imaging hypointense signal and T2-weighted imaging isointense or hyperintense signals were noted.CT scan showed calcification in 3 patients.Pathology indicated WHO grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ gliomas.Neoplastic cells were bipolar, round, oval or spindle shaped around capillary, and they expressed both glial markers (glial fibrillary acidic protein) and neuronal markers (neuronal nuclei antigen and synaptophysin).MR imaging showed that all the 8 patients got total resection, and follow up of 6-47 months recorded no epileptic seizure, neoplasm recurrence or death. Conclusions AG is a kind of low-grade glioma in children or young adults. And it may be a mixed neuronal-glial neoplasm originating from radial glia, enjoying good surgical effects.
