AIM: To explore the changes of von Willebrand factor (vWF) and soluble vascular-cellular adhesion molecule-1 (sVCAM-1), and the correlation of vWF, sVCAM-1 with acute myocardial ischemia. Objective To investigate the levels of complement and activated complement factors in peripheral blood and skin in patients with psoriasis and their significance in the development of psoriatic lesion.Methods Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and immuno turbidi metric analysis were used to determine the levels of C3d, sC5b-9, C3 and C4 in sera from 57 patients with psoriasis vulgaris.Immunohistochemistry was employed to assess in situ expression of SC5b-9 in lesional and non lesional skin of 37 patients.Results There was a significant decrease of C3 and C4, and increase of C3d and sC5b-9 in patients with psoriasis in comparison with those of normal controls (t=10.88～ 24.80, P<0.01).The levels of C3 and C4 were significantly lower, while the levels of C3d and sC5b-9 were significantly higher in progressive stage than those in static stage (t=4.55～ 6.77,P< 0.01).In situ expression of sC5b-9 was significantly higher in stratum corneum and dermo epidermal junction of lesional skin than that in non lesional skin and normal controls (χ2=62.90,45.45;P< 0.01).There was no significant difference of C5b-9 expression in stratum corneum and dermoepidermal junction of lesional skin between progressive and static stage.Conclusions There is significant correlation between the development of psoriatic lesion and local deposit of activated complement factors.

The present study on 24 cases disclosed that the erythrocyte deformability(ED) of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) was significantly lower than normal control. After incubate the patients' erythrocyte with Prop-lene Glycol Mannituse Sulfate(PGMS) and Pro-plene Glycol Alginate Sudium Sulfate (PSS ) , The ED was significantly higher than that of in-cubated without drug. PGMS was more effi-cious. The result indicated that PGMS and PSS may have high value in improving the microcir-culation of patient with AMI, increasing the blood flow of capilliaries in ischemic myocardium and reducing the area of infarction.

Objective:To investigate the feature of depression in patients with Parkinson's disease(PD) and the related factors.Methods:Use Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) to measure the level of depression of 60 patients with PD.Functional state of the patients was evaluated by Motor Dysfunction Rating Scale for Parkinson's Disease(MDRSPD).Results:29 cases(48.3%) were identified to have depression,among whom 40% were of minor or moderate degree,8.3% were severe.The main manifestations of depression were anxiety/body,retardation,hopelessness and insomnia.Scores of hopelessness,retardation,and insomnia factor were significantly higher in the rigidity and tremor combining rigidity patients than those in tremor patients.The level of depression positively correlated with the duration of disease and degree of dysfunction due to PD,and it has no relation with age,sex,and education.Conclusions:The incidence of depression was higher in patients with PD.PD patients of different clinical types had different characteristics of depression.The rigidity type is more likely to get depression.The degrees are closely related to duration of disease and degree of dysfunetion.

Objective　To investigate the clinical results of the medial multiplex flap pedicled with the posterior tibial vessel. Methods　Twelve cases with soft tissue defects and bone defects of limbs were treated with the medial multiplex flap pedicled with the posterior tibial vessel from September 1992 to May 1999. Among them, bone and soft tissue defects following opened fracture in 7 cases, chronic ulcer following chronic osteomyelitis in 2 cases, melanoepithelioma in 2 cases, bone and soft tissue defects following osteoma resection in 1 case. The bone defect area was from 2.5 cm×5.0 cm to 4.5 cm ×11.0 cm. Free graft was performed in 5 cases, bridged transposition in 3 cases and reversal transposition in 4 cases, among them, periosteal myocutaneous flap with autogenous or allogeneic bone grafting in 8 cases, myocutaneous flap in 4 cases. The area of the flaps from 6 cm ×8 cm to 12 cm×25 cm. Results　All flaps were healed by first intention, but in the distal fragments of bigger flaps were partially necrosed in 2 cases. In 10 cases bone healing were obtained after 16 weeks of operation according to the X-ray photos. All cases were followed up from 6 to 18 months. All cases achieved satisfactory result but 1 case died because of lung metastasis of osteoma. Conclusion　The multiplex graft pedicled with the posterior tibial vessel is an ideal graft for repairing the large soft tissue defects and bone defects, because it has such advantages as adequate blood supply, big vascular diameter, long pedicle and big dermatomic area.

Objective To observe and classify the structure of the circle of Willis by using magnetic resonance angiographic(MRA)method. Methods A total of 2104 MRA head images from October 2013 to May 2015 in Shenyang Weikang Hospital was retrospective analyzed ,and the structure was classified by anterior circle or posterior circle according to the actual situation of the cerebral basilar artery. Results According to the origin of anterior cerebral artery and whether there was anterior communicating artery or not ,anterior circle was classified into three types:type Ⅰ,type Ⅱ and type Ⅲ. Type Ⅱ was classified into two subtypes,namely,type ⅡR and type ⅡL. Posterior circle,on the basis of whether there was posterior communicating artery or not,was classified into three types,which were type Ⅰ,type Ⅱ and type Ⅲ. According to the origin of posterior cerebral artery,type Ⅰ was classified into four subtypes,including type ⅠB,type ⅠC,type ⅠRC and type ⅠLC;type Ⅱ was classified into eight subtypes,including type ⅡBR,type ⅡBL,type ⅡCR,type ⅡCL,type ⅡRCR,type ⅡRCL,type ⅡLCR and type ⅡLCL;type Ⅲ was classified into four subtypes,including type ⅢB,type ⅢC,type ⅢRC,type ⅢLC. Conclusion There is a correlation among the different types of cerebral basi-lar artery,and each type of artery has their own sources of blood supply and the traits of communication compensation. When the anterior circle and posterior circle were both type Ⅲ,the complete ring structure of cerebral basilar artery,namely the circle of Willis,was formed. The existing rate of the circle of Willis was about 10.7%. Understanding of the differences among the individual types of arteries has great significance to the prevention and treatment of the cerebrovascular disease.

ObjectiveTo explore the recurrence inhibition of colorectal cancer by adenoviral transducted endostatin gene. Methods The recombinant adenovirus expressing endostatin was constructed. Its biological activities were observed. The levels of endostatin in mice peripheral blood, tumor local recurrence and tumor cell apotosis were analyzed after the endostatin gene transduction by adenovirus. Results The infecting supernatant of recombinant adenovirus significantly inhibited HUVEC proliferation. After the injection of the recombinant adenovirus, persistent high serum levels of endostatin in peripheral blood was observed, local recurrence rate decreased, and apotosis of recurrence tumor cells increased.Conclusions The intraveneously injection of recombinant adenovirus mediated endostatin gene produces high concentration and stable expression of endostatin,which effects prevention of local recurrence after surgical resection of colorectal cancer.
