1.Advances in chronic active Epstein-Barr virus infection
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(1):78-81
Chronic active Epstein-Barr virus infection( CAEBV) is an undefined illness, which is often characterized by severe. chronic, or recurrent infectious mononucleosis-like syndrome, such as fever, hepatosplenomegaly, persistenthepatitis and extensive lymphadenopathy . Patients with CAEBV have high viral loads in their penpheral blood and/ or an unusual pattem of EBV-related antibodies. It is an intractable disease with a poor prognosis. Patients with CAEBV have high mortality from hepatic failure, opportunistic infection, or hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. A definite treatment has not been established . There is accumulating evidence that the clonal expansion of EBV-infected T or natural killer cells play a key role in the pathogenesis of CAEBV.

Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(06):-
Since the current worldwide medical education and clinical practice lay a particular stress on training medical students with scientific knowledge and medical technical skills, enormous medical staffs are shaped into medical technical workers who lack medical morality and emotions, leading to the contradiction between medical morality and technologies.Medical personnel should know that medicine not only observes illness closely, but also attaches importance to the patients themselves who are suffering the pain.Medical students should pay attention to the forming process of medical morality and emotion in their preparative stage, accept the exercise to prepare for medical morality, and recalls their love and concern for life.

Mutual information(MI) is a tool of measuring the statistical dependence between two random variables. MI between two images, being considered as two random fields, can be calculated to determine the degree of information redundancy between the image intensities of corresponding pixels in both images. In this paper, we utilize the MI criterion to realize the generalized registration between two neighboring slices in a medical image sequence (CT, MR et al) and consider that they match with each other if the MI between them is maximal. Experimental results confirm performance of our algorithm.

Chinese Medical Ethics 1996;0(01):-
The development of medical technology draws the doctor-patient relationship ever closer. However, the abundance and complexity of medical knowledge and technology make it a difficult task for medical personnel to grasp medical knowledge and skills, setting up a higher request for handling physician-patient relationship.Besides, medical disputes between doctors and patients caused by the abuse of medical technology in clinical practice also contribute to the contradiction between the advancement of medical technology and the latency of medical morality. Therefore,it is one important part in the study on medical morality from the perspective of medical technology ethics to take a rational view on the development of medical technology and construct a harmonious physician-patient relationship.

Objective To explore the expression and effect of transforming growth factors-β1 (TGF-β1) and heat shock protein (HSP47) on gluteal muscle contracture (GMC). Methods We collected contraction band and adjacent muscle from GMC patients and explored the expression of TGF-β1 and HSP47 using immunohistohemistry, reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), and Western blot analysis. Results TGF-β1 and HSP47 were intensely expressed in fibroblast cells and vascular endothelial cells. The expression of them increased 8.1-fold and 3.6-fold at the mRNA level, respectively (P<0.05). The same changes were found at the protein level, which increased 11.2-fold and 7.6-fold, respectively (P<0.05). Conclusion Up-regulation of TGF-β1 and HSP47 may initiate fibrotic cascade in the gluteal muscles of GMC patients.
