By combining clinical observation and animal experiments and using FASCO - 3010 hemorheological devices to examine the relevant indices, it was found that no obvious changes can be found in the group treated with hormone before and after the treatment, whereas in the group with traditional drugs added, the RBC deformation, and specific viscosity of plasma were all markedly lowered. Comparison of rheological changes in SD rat showed that traditional Chinese drugs can markedly improve the hemorheology in such patients, indicating that these TCM treating principles can improve the concentrated, viscous, coagulated, agglutinated pathological blood status in SLE patients.

; Objective; To observe the preventive and therapeutic effects of Jieduquyuziyin methods in treating corticosteroid osteoporosis in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and investigate into its mechanism. Method; 147 cases of SLE were randomly divided into the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine group (79 cases) and the western medicine group (68 cases). There 21 cases which were diagnosed primarily among all 147 cases. 30 healthy cases were taken as the normal control group. The western medicine group (68 cases) was treated mainly with prednisone only, while the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine group (79 cases) with Jieduquyuyiyin methods on the basis of normal western medicine. Both groups were treated for 3 months as a course. 16 cases in the western medicine group and 25 cases in the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine group were kept on being treated and observed for 2 years. The lever of serum Ca, P, ALP, BGP, IPTH, 25-(OH) D3 and urinary Ca, P and BMD were checked and observed. Objective To explore the effects of Jiedu Quyu Ziyin Recipe (JQZR) on the apoptosis and expressions of bcl-2 and bax mRNA of peripheral-blood lymphocyte in MRL/lpr mice. Methods 80 MRL/lpr mice were randomly divided into model group,TCM group, Western medicine group and TCM and Western medicine group,20 mice in each group, meanwhile,20 Kunming mice were selected as normal group, then intragastrically administered normal sodium, JQZR apozem, prednisone suspension and JQZR apozem and prednisone suspension, 0. 5ml every time,once daily for 12 weeks respectively. At the end of the 12th week, peripheral-blood lymphocytes of every mice purified by gradient centrifugation were cultivated for 48 hours ,then the apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry. Furthermore,the expressions of bcl-2 and bax mRNA of peripheral-blood lymphocyte were detected by RT-PCR. Results At Oh or 48h,the apoptosis ratios of PBLC in normal group, TCM group,Western medicine group and TCM and Western medicine group are higher than model group and the differences are significant(P <0. 05 ,P <0. 01 ) ,while,at Oh,which are not significant within Western medicine group, normal group and TCM and Western medicine group ( P > 0. 05) ,even if which are significant between TCM group and TCM and Western medicine group or between model group and TCM and Western medicine group( P < 0. 05 ). Aims To study the changes of serum me-tabolites in systemic lupus erythematosus ( SLE ) mice ( MRL/lpr) by treatment of Qinghao-Biejia and to ex-plore the pathogenesis of SLE and mechanism of drug action. Methods The serum samples of control group, SLE model group and Qinghao-Biejia treatment group ( low and high dose ) were collected, the metabolic profile of samples was analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight mass spectrometry system ( HPLC-Q-TOF/MS ) . Software of Mass Hunter and Mass Profiler Professional ( MPP ) were used to process the data. A supervised mode of partial least squares-discriminant analysis ( PLS-DA ) was applied to recognize the data pattern. Results There were obvious disorders of lipid metabolism in SLE model. Compared with control group, Qinghao-Biejia treatment group improved lipid metabolism, af-fected the thrombosis development of SLE; and Qing-hao-Biejia treatment group reduced the pathological damage by improving inflammatory acute phase of SLE in mice. Conclusion Qinghao-Biejia treatment plays a therapeutic role in repairing the imbalance by multidi-mensional metabolic pathways in SLE mice.

[Objective] To systematically study the characteristics of the key syndromes of systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),summarize its clinical efficacy,and explore the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).[Methods] The main clinical syndrome features of SLE are heat-toxicity,blood stasis and Yin-deficiency.Compared with glucocorticoids(GCs) alone,combination with JP can significantly improve the clinical efficacy and reduce the glucocorticoid treat consumption effectively.[Results]Our results showed that in MRL/LPR model mice,JP could restore the balance between TH17 and regulatory T cells through CaMK4 signaling pathway,and the interaction between T cells and B cells.JP could promote DNA methylation,inhibit the over-activated lymphocytes,improve the prognosis of SLE and prevent renal damage.JP could up-regulate the concentration of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and the level of glycine,phenylalanine and tryptophan dramatically.Furthermore,JP could reduce the abundance of pathogenic bacteria(such as Parabacteroides) and increase the abundance of beneficial bacteria (such as Odoribacter and Ruminococcus) by regulating gastrointestinal function,which was not found in GCs treated subjects.JP can also obviously reduce the expression of TLR7,TLR9 and IL-6 in intestinal mucosa,showing the effect of multi-target therapy on SLE.[Conclusion] The most common clinical syndromes of SLE are heat-toxicity,blood stasis and Yin-deficiency.JP can effectively control the progress of SLE and exert its clinical function from different aspects.Our research laid the scientific basis for the popularization and application of TCM in clinical treatment of SLE.

Pre-rheumatoid arthritis （Pre-RA） is the asymptomatic state of rheumatoid arthritis （RA）， and its progression showed complexity， dynamics and significant individual differences. The dynamic prediction model is valuable in identifying individual risks and taking timely preventive and control measures. It is believed that applying the dynamic prediction model to traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） clinical studies of Pre-RA is expected to predict the critical state of Pre-RA to RA， reveal the evolution of Pre-RA， reflect the external authenticity of the TCM clinical studies， and complement the clinical efficacy evaluation method. Accordingly， it is envisioned to construct a dynamic prediction model for Pre-RA progression based on TCM clinical trial data through the dynamic prediction model algorithm， and to apply long-term follow-up cohort data for external validation， thereby providing a basis for scientific warning and clinical decision-making on the evolution of Pre-RA.

It is proposed that the disease mechanism evolution of systemic lupus erythematosus can be summarized into four stages： initial invasion and latency， the pathogenesis remains concealing； latent toxin accumulation， the disease gradually becomes apparent； active toxin begins damaging， the disease manifests aggressively； damage resulting to deficiency， the disease course prolonged. Based on the stages of latent toxin evolution， the syndrome differentiation and treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus can be summarized as follows： during the initial latent stage， characterized by latent dampness and heat stagnation， modified Sanren Decoction （三仁汤） should be used； in the toxin outbreak stage， marked by intense heat toxin， modified Xijiao Dihuang Decoction （犀角地黄汤） combined with modified Qingwen Baidu Decoction （清瘟败毒饮） should be used； during the toxin damage stage， which presents as latent toxin damaging zang-fu organs， modified Qinghao Biejia Decoction （青蒿鳖甲汤） should be used； in the healthy qi deficiency stage， characterized by deficiencies of qi， blood， yin， and yang， modified Xieli Shiquan Ointment （燮理十全膏） should be used.
