Object To identify the differences of chemical constituents of Dragon's Blood obtained by different extract processing. Methods The mentioned Dragon's Blood was analyzed by TLC, UV spectro photometry, and HPLC. Results The contents of dihydrochalcone in Dragon's Blood by the new extract processing were higher than that by traditional one's, while the contents of flavonoid and stibene were lower. Conclusion The heating free technology is a new technique that is an original with higher extract rate, and it is worth of spreading. It will promote the modernization of TCM.

Objective To investigate the effect of Mucin 3A (Muc3A) gene silencing by shRNA mediated with lentivirus vector on human extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Methods Short hairpin RNA (shRNA) interference sequence targeting Muc3A gene was designed and synthesized.Recombinant lentiviral plasmids were packaged to produce virus venom and their titers were determined. After transfected with QBC939 cells of extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, stable positive cell lines were obtained by optimal drug screening concentration.QBC939 cells were divided into three groups:lentivirus mediated shRNA transfected cells (transfected group),empty virus transfected cells (negative control group),and untransfected cells (blank group).ShRNA silencing efficiency of Muc3A gene was detected with Western blot.Cell growth was assessed by MTS assay, cell colony formation was detected with plate clonogenesis assay, and cell cycle distribution were detected by flow cytometry. Results Lentivirus was successfully packaged and titer of virus suspension was 1 × 108 TU/ml.Western blot confirmed that shRNA worked well in QBC939 cells.3 μg/ml puromycin concentration was added for table cell lines selection.Western blot results showed that the expression of Muc3A in the transfection group was significantly decreased comparing with negative control group and the blank group (P < 0.05).The MTS results showed that the value of OD490nm in the transfected group was significantly lower than that in the negative control group and the blank group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).The number of clone formation in the transfection group was significantly lower than that in the negative control group and the blank control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).Cell cycle of the experimental group was in G2/M is more, but S phase is less, but there is no statistical difference compared with blank group (P > 0.05).Conclusion Lentivirus mediated shRNA transfection can significantly inhibit the growth, proliferation and colony formation of QBC939 cells of extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma after interfering with Muc3A gene expression, which sugests that Muc3A can promote the growth of cholangiocarcinoma cells.

Three hundred and twenty endophytic actinobacterial strains were isolated from psammophytes collected from Taklamakan Desert and identified.Among them, three strains already had been identified as new species of two genera and sixteen isolates showed relatively low 16S rRNA similarities<98.6%to validly described species.Seventy-five of the isolates were selected as representative strains to screen antibacterial activity and mechanism.Forty-seven strains showed antagonistic activity against at least one of the indicator bacteria. Two Streptomyces strains produced bioactive compounds inducing DNA damage, and two Streptomyces strains produced bioactive compounds with inhibitory activity on protein biosynthesis.Notably, the strain Streptomyces sp.8P21H-1 that demonstrated both strong antibacterial activity and inhibitory activity on protein biosynthesis was prioritized for exploring new antibiotics.Under the strategy of integrating genetics-based discovery program and MS/MS-based molecular networking, two new streptogramin-type antibiotics,i.e.,acetyl-griseoviridin and desulphurizing gri-seoviridin,along with known griseoviridin, were isolated from the culture broth of strain 8P21H-1.Their chemical structures were determined by HR-MS,and 1D and 2D NMR.Desulphurizing griseoviridin and griseoviridin exhibited antibacterial activities by inhibiting translation.

To evaluate the implementation of Survey of oncomelanid snails (WS/T 563—2017) in schistosomiasis-endemic foci, two schistosomiasis-endemic counties were selected from two provinces of Sichuan and Anhui. Professional staff working in province-, city-, county- and township-level disease control and prevention institutions, parasitic disease control institutions or medical institutions were recruited, and the understanding, use and implementation of Survey of oncomelanid snails (WS/T 563—2017) were investigated using questionnaires and interviews. The awareness, use, proportion of propagation and implementation and correct rate of answering questions pertaining to Survey of oncomelanid snails (WS/T 563—2017) were analyzed. A total of 270 questionnaires were allocated, and 269 were recovered, including 254 valid questionnaires. The overall awareness of Survey of oncomelanid snails (WS/T 563—2017) was 84.64% (215/254), and propagation and implementation of Survey of oncomelanid snails (WS/T 563—2017) was not performed in 23.28% (17/73) of the survey institutions following implementation of Survey of oncomelanid snails (WS/T 563—2017), with meeting training and allocation of propagation materials as the main type of propagation and implementation. Among 254 respondents, 77.16% (196/254) were familiar with the standard, 66.14% (168/254) understood the conditions for use of the standard during snail surveys, and 96.85% (246/254) had the approach for identifying snails. In addition, there were 41.73% (106/254), 50.78% (129/254) and 7.48% (19/254) of respondents that considered the operability of Survey of oncomelanid snails (WS/T 563—2017) was very good, good and general, respectively. The findings demonstrate that the issue and implementation of Survey of oncomelanid snails (WS/T 563—2017) has filled the gap for the standardization of snail control techniques, and which plays an importang guiding role in the national schistosomiasis control program.

The ongoing pandemic coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) remains a significant issue for global health, economics, and society. In order to balance epidemic control and economic recovery, many countries have successively announced the gradual relaxation of some lockdown restrictions. Hospitals and medical staff constitute the backbone in this war against COVID-19. In response to this serious situation, many hospitals went into emergency and impaired healthcare access to patients with conditions other than COVID-19. Therefore, gradually promoting hospital operations and functions back to the new normal is important, especially when this outbreak has been effectively controlled. In this study, we introduce existing and potential problems that could seriously affect people's health. Additionally, we propose that an especial transition phase between the emergency and regular modes of hospitals can be well adapted to the current situation.
