Objective To investigate the relationship of the expression of DNA methyltransferase,demethylase(mbd2) and tumor-associated genes in human gastric cancer. Methods Tissue samples of cancerous,para-cancerous and normal gastric mucosa were obtained surgically from 28 primary gastric cancer patients. The transcription level of DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1),mbd2,methyl-CpG binding protein (MeCP2),p16 INK4A and c-myc were determined by using real-time RT-PCR and RT-PCR. The relationship between the expression of DNA methylation-associated genes and tumor-associated genes was analyzed. Results The mRNA level of DNMT1 was higher and the mRNA level of mbd2 gene was lower in cancerous tissue than that in normal tissue. The expression of c-myc instead of p16 INK4A and MeCP2 was increased in cancer tissues. The mRNA level of c-myc related negatively to mbd2 when gastric cancer developed. However,there was no any close relation between the transcription level of all above genes and tumor biological behavior in human gastric cancer. Conclusion This study indicates that MeCP2 but not DNMT1 may contribute to the regulation of tumor-associated genes expression in human gastric cancer.

Objective To evaluate the effects and methods of interventional therapy of the atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis(ARAS).Methods 28 cases of ARAS were implanted with stents by guiding catheter or guidewire exchanging, 31 stents were implanted (Palmaz stent in 22, Wallstent in 4, and Symphony stent in 5). Follow up was undertaken for 6 months to 1 year, together with recording the blood pressure, creatinine, the effective number of antihypertensive medication and comparing with those before the procedure. Results Stents were implanted successfully in all cases. Complication of renal arterial embolism happened in 2 cases with recanalization by guidewire exchanging. Restenosis happened in 4 cases.Conclusion Stent implantation for renal artery stenosis by guiding catheter is an ideal method or probably the chief interventional therapy to preserve the renal function.

Objective To study the application of doses of remifentail intravenous anesthesia in vocal nodule extirpation.Methods Sixty ASAⅠ～Ⅱpatients with vocal nodule were selected and randomly divided into three groups. Group F were given anesthetic induction with fentanil and maintenance with isoflurane; Group L were given anesthetic induction and maintenance with remifentail at the dose of 0.5?g/(kg?min); Group H were given anesthetic induction and maintenance with remifentail at the dose of 1?g/(kg?min).The anesthetic induction time,blood flow dynamics during maintenance phase,recovery time and quality were recorded. Results (1)Anesthesia produce less circulatory fluctuation in group H than in group F and L.(2) Group L and H were faster than group F on recovery profile including the time of response to verbal commands,autonomous breathing,tracheal extubation and discharging from operating room. The OAA/S score was higher in group L and H than in group F 5 min after intubation. There were no significant differences between group L and H. Conclusions Remifentanil intravenous anesthesia can achieve better recovery profile from anesthesia than fentanyl in vocal nodule extirpation. 1?g/(kg?min) remifentanil can inhibit the stress responses to tracheal intubation and laryngoscope inserted effectively with a stable circulatory function.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of bone allograft plus interlock plate internal fixation in the treatment of tibial plateau fractures.Methods 43 patients with tibial plateau fractures were treated by open reduction,bone allograft,locking plate fixation and early knee joint function training.Results All patients were followed up for 8 ～ 14 months with an average of 10 months.All patients achieved bone union and the duration of union was averaged 6.9 months.Knee joint function was rated based on HSS score system as excellent in 30 cases,good in 9 cases,fair in 3 cases and poor in 1 case.The excellent and good rate was 90％.Conclusion Reliable effect can be achieved for fracture of tibial plateau treatment with bone allograft plus interlock plate internal fixation.It provides satisfactory function of the knee.It has many advantages,such as stable and durable fixation and avoidance of secondary compression of tibial plateau.

OBJECTIVE:To establish UV-spectrophotometry method in the determination of metformin hydrochloride in compound metformin hydrochloride tablets.METHODS:The determination was carried out with water as the solvent under the detection wavelength of233nm.RESULTS:There was a good linear relationship between metformin hydrochloride and its absorbability(r=0.9999)within the concentration range of1～10?g/ml.The average recovery was99.3%with RSD at0.24%(n=9).CONCLUSION:The method is accurate,fast,convenient,and which can be used to determine the contents of metformin hydrochloride in compound metformin hydrochloride tablets directly without isolation.

Objective To explore the relationship between the hemodynamic changes in head-up tilt test(HUTT) and the height,body quality and body mass index in children.Methods We choosed 1906 cases of unexplained syncope,headache,dizziness in children who came from Children Syncope Outpatient in the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University from Jan.2000 to Aug.2012,Male 964 cases and female 942 cases.Their ages were 2 to 17.92 years old.The average age was 10.84 ± 2.97 years old.The height and body mass in children was measured,BMI was calculated.After obtain written informed consent subjects or guardian,the HUTT was carried.According to the result of HUTT and reaction type,the children were divided into HUTT negative group,orthostatic tachycardia syndrome(POTS) group,vasovagal syncope (VVS) vascular inhibitory type group,VVS heart inhibited type group,the VVS mixed group.Results Compared to the HUTT negative group,the age increased in POTS group and VVS vascular inhibitory group and VVS mixed group(P ＜ 0.05),height and body quality and body surface area increased in POTS group and VVS vascular inhibitory group and VVS mixed group(P ＜ 0.01).Compared to POTS group,body quality and body surface area reduced in VVS vascular inhibitory group and VVS mixed group(P ＜ 0.05).VVS heart inhibitory group was no statistically significant difference compared with the other groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion There is a certain relationship between the hemodynamic changes in HUTT and the height,body quality and BMI in children.
