Objective: To study the effect of nerve growth factor (NGF) on bone fracture healing of inflicted T10 spinal cord injury (SCI) complicated with tibia fracture in rats. Methods: Totally 120 rats were randomly divided into tibia fracture group (F group, n=40), T10 SCI + tibia fracture group (FS group, n=40), and T10 SCI + tibia fracture + NGF group (FSN group, n=40). Four weeks later, the fracture sites in the 3 groups were subjected to CT scanning; the maximum transverse diameter of the fracture ends and the gray scales of non-osseous area were measured; the changes of biomechanics property of the fracture ends were determined by three-point bending test; the bone morphometry, bone density, and histomorphology of callus were determined; the expression of OCN was detected by immunohistochemical method; the osteoblast ultrastructure was observed by TEM and the expression of I, II type collagen were examined by Western blotting. Results: The maximum transverse diameter of F group was less than those of FS group(P<0.01)and FSN group (P<0.05), and FS group was longer than FSN group(P<0.05); the comparison of gray scales among 3 groups had a similar result to that of the section diameter. Three points bending test and bone morphometry test showed that the biomechanics property of the fracture ends in F group were better than those of the other 2 groups (P<0.05), and FSN group was better than FS group (P<0.05). The expression of OCN and type I collagen in the callus of F group was significantly higher than that of the other 2 groups (P<0.05), and FSN group was higher than FS group (P<0.05); while the expression of type II collagen in F group was lower than that of the other 2 groups(P<0.05), and FSN group was higher than FS gourp (P<0.05). Morphological and ultrastructure observation showed that fracture in F group had the best healing result, and the healing result of FSN group was better than that of the FS group. Conclusion: It is suggested that denervation can affect the ossification of fracture ends and NGF can promote the ossification of fracture ends suffering denervation.

Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia is a rare hereditary ion channel disease, which mainly affects children and young adults.Clinically, the pathogenic genes of CPVT in adolescents are mainly RYR2, CASQ2, TRDN, CALM1 and TRD.Currently, beta blockers remain the first-line treatment for CPVT, and moderate exercise training is considered as an effective potential synergism for CPVT patients.Implantable cardioverter defibrillators are commonly used in the treatment of CPVT, but inappropriate shocks and device-related complications need to be carefully considered before implantation.Flecainide has been shown to be effective therapeutic agent, especially for the treatment of resistant CPVT cases with beta blockers.Left cardiac sympathetic denervation has also shown to be highly effective in preventing CPVT symtoms and cardiac events, and a combination of beta blockers can precede implantable cardioverter defibrillator implantation.

Hepatic hemangioma is the most common benign liver tumors in the clinic.Most of hemangioma does not require aggressive treatment,and the indications for resection remain controversial.Different scholars may have different ideas about the surgical treatment of hemangioma.This article will focus on reviewing literatures about indications of hepatic hemangioma.In this paper,we proposed a new standard of surgical indications that named health-related quality of life.

[Summary] Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy ( LSG) as a sole and definitive bariatric surgery has achieved well results in terms of decreasing the body mass index ( BMI ) and percentage of excess weight loss (%EWL ) , therefore reducing the obesity-related complications , but the mechanism remains unclear .As a restrictive surgical procedure , the most important mechanism of LSG might be the reduction of the volume of the stomach resulting in a limited food intake .Therefore, to achieve the best weight loss after surgery , measuring the gastric volume is an indispensable technology .Currently, gastric capacity measurement methods include imaging measurements and intraoperative direct measurement . Imaging methods include upper gastrointestinal radiography , CT three-dimensional reconstruction , MRI and radionuclide scanning , with each having its advantages and disadvantages .In this article, the measurement methods of gastric capacity before and after LSG were reviewed .

Objective To discuss the clinical features and coronary artery lesions in middle-aged and young patients of coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus. Methods The clinical data of 386 middle-aged and young patients (aged from 28 to 59 years) of coronary heart disease were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 176 cases were complicated with diabetes mellitus (diabetes group) and 210 cases didn′t have diabetes mellitus (non diabetes group). The general information, echocardiography and coronary angiography results between 2 groups were compared. Results The female ratio, incidences of hypertension and body mass index (BMI) in diabetes group were significantly higher than those in non diabetes group:28.4%(50/176) vs. 6.7%(14/210), 63.6%(112/176) vs. 43.8%(92/210) and (26.5 ± 2.5) kg/m2 vs. (23.8 ± 1.7) kg/m2, and there were statistical differences (P<0.01). There were no statistical differences in the age and the incidences of smoking history, family history of coronary heart disease and heart failure between 2 groups (P>0.05). The total cholesterol (TC) and triglyceride (TG) in diabetes group were significantly higher than those in non diabetes group:(4.96 ± 1.32) mmol/L vs. (4.67 ± 1.12) mmol/L and (2.77 ± 2.01) mmol/L vs. (2.09 ± 1.60) mmol/L, the high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) was significantly lower than that in non diabetes group:(0.92 ± 0.30) mmol/L vs. (1.10 ± 0.32) mmol/L, and there were statistical differences (P<0.01). There were statistical differences in the hemoglobin, platelet, total bilirubin, brain natriuretic peptide, fibrinogen (FIB) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) between 2 groups (P>0.05). There were no significant differences in the left atrial diameter, right ventricular diameter, left ventricular end diastolic diameter, ejection fraction, aortic root inside diameter and incidence of weakened ventricular wall motion between 2 groups (P>0.05). The incidence of 3 branch coronary artery lesions in diabetes group was significantly higher than that in non diabetes group:59.1%(104/176) vs. 37.6%(79/210), and there was statistical difference (P<0.01). The incidences of left main artery, circumflex artery trunk, diffuse vascular lesion and Gensini score in diabetes group were significantly higher than those in non diabetes group: 15.9% (28/176) vs. 6.2% (13/210), 79.5% (140/176) vs. 53.8% (113/210), 46.5%(82/176) vs. 23.8%(50/210) and (58.6 ± 17.9) scores vs. (49.5 ± 14.6) scores, and there were statistical differences (P<0.01). There were no statistical differences in incidences of anterior descending artery and right coronary artery between 2 groups (P>0.05). Conclusions In middle-aged and young patients of coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus, the female ratio is higher and hypertension, obesity and hyperlipidemia is more common. The lesions of coronary artery are more serious and diffuse. Three branch coronary artery lesions are the main ones, and the left main branch and the circumflex branch lesion is common.

Objective: To study correlation between plasma mitochondrial coupling factor-6 (MCF-6) level in coronary circulation and coronary stenotic degree in CHD patients. Methods: A total of 64 CHD patients were selected as CHD group, and they were further divided into single-vessel group, double-vessel group and multi-vessel coronary disease group; another 20 cases with normal coronary artery were enrolled as normal control group. Radioimmunoassay method was used to measure plasma MCF-6 concentration in peripheral, coronary sinus and aortic root in each group. Multivariant linear gradual regressive analysis was used to analyze above-mentioned correlation. Results: Compared with normal control group, there was significant increase in plasma MCF-6 concentration in peripheral, aortic root and coronary sinus in CHD patients (P<0.05 all) ；compared with aortic root and peripheral plasma, there was significant increase in MCF-6 concentration [(348±48) pg/ml vs. (340±51) pg/ml vs. (402±56) pg/ml, P<0.01 all] in coronary sinus of CHD group；Compared with single-vessel group, double-vessel group, there were increase in MCF-6 concentration in multi-vessel coronary disease group (P<0.05～0.01); Multivariant linear gradual regressive analysis indicated that Gensini score was significant positively correlated with plasma MCF-6 concentrations in coronary sinus and aortic root (r=0.650, P<0.01; r=0.711, P<0.01). Conclusion: Mitochondrial coupling factor-6 participates in the pathophysiological process of coronary heart disease, which may be an important vasoactive substance during development of coronary heart disease.

Neuroblastoma(NB)is the most common extra -cranial malignant tumor of children.While it ac-counts for 7% of all childhood malignancies,NB accounts for 1 0% of childhood cancer mortality.According to the risk group classification systems,there is high heterogeneity malignant degree of NB.Many bio -features are associated with the prognosis of NB.As the development of the diagnosis and therapy,the relationship between some bio -features and the prognosis has been changed.In the future,target therapy of molecular biology may be a new breakthrough in the therapy area.
