Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2011;17(3):213-218
ObjectiveTo explore the time of chronic spinal cord injury and to determine the time and spatial distribution of glial scar after completely transected rat spinal cord injury. Methods24 adult female Wistar rats were completely transected spinal cord. The responses of activated glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), NG2 and the length of the cavity on the 1st, 3rd, 7th day, 2nd week, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 3.5th month after operation were examined with histochemistry and immunohistochemistry. ResultsThe length of the cavity and the expression of GFAP begun to be stable at the 2nd month post injury, and were fully stable at 3rd month. The expression of NG2 begun to be stable at the 1st month post injury, and fully stable at 3rd month. ConclusionThe injury begun to stabilize at 1st month post injury, and fully stabilized at 3rd month.

China Medical Equipment 2014;(3):4-7
Objective:To detect the anti-cancer component, trans-resveratrol in red wine by high performance liquid chromatography, and to determine the influence of environmental factors on its content. Methods: A method for determining trans-resveratrol in red wine by HPLC is described. The operating conditions were ZORBAX-C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5μm) at room temperature, 30%acetonitrile as mobile phase at a flow of 1ml/min and UV detection at 306 nm. Results:The content of trans-resveratrol in Changyu dry red wine and Great Wall Claret Cabernet are (1.01±0.03)mg/L and (2.36±0.02)mg/L, respectively. The results show that, sunlight, high temperature and poor seal condition can decrease the content of trans-resveratrol. Conclusion:The content of trans-resveratrol varies in different brands of red wine. Red wine should be stored in cool, dark and sealed conditions.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2001;0(10):-
10 h. Results 15 patients had been misdiagnosed as epididymis orchitis or acute abdomen and undergone orchiectomy because of necrosis of the testicles, including 11 cases of intrascrotal torsion (testicular torsion in scrotum with an orchiectomy rate of 79%) and 4 cases of cryptorchidism with torsion.3 cases scrotal orchidopexy has been performed and during the follow up ( 6~36 months) the testicle in 2 of which appeared viable and normal while testicular atrophy has been observed in 1.In recent years 11 adolescents underwent exploration because of acute scrotal pain,7 cases being testicular torsion and 4 acute epididymitis. Conclusions It is emphasized that in younger patients suffering suddenly from pain in scrotum, especially occurring at night, the diagnosis of testicular torsion should be considered.Differentiating cryptorchidism with torsion from incarcerated hernia or acute abdomen, testicular torsion in scrotum from acute testitis and epididymitis should be serious considered. In order to save the testicle with early surgical exploration orchidopexy might be mandatory to aviod recurrence.

Objective To explore the usage of anatomic al M-mode echocardiography in observing pulmonary artery motion curve of pulmonary hypertension patients. Methods The subjects included 21 pulmonary hypertension patients complicated with tricuspid valve insufficiency, and 21 controls whose age and gender matched with the patient group. The inner diameter of main pulmonary artery and right atrium, acceleration time of pulmonary valve Doppler signal and maximum velocity of tricuspid insufficiency (ACTpv) were measured during routine echo examination. From the maximum velocity of tricuspid insufficiency the pulmonary artery systolic pressure (PASP) was calculated. The pulmonary artery motion curve and pulsating amplitude of pulmonary artery wall (PAWPA) was observed and measured with a home-made anatomical M-mode echocardiography with instrument. Results PAWPA in the patient group was lower, and simultaneously complicated with broader pulmonary artery, larger right atrium and shorter ACTpv in comparison with normal group (all P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
To study the diagnosis of pulmonary stenosis (PS) in patients with the secundum atrial septal defects(ASD) by the measurement of maximal velocity through pulmonary valve (Vpv max ). There were 98 cases with secundum ASD, and 27 cases with secundum ASD and PS diagnosed by echocardiography(TTE). All the cases with secundum ASD were confirmed by surgery. The diagnosis of 19 cases out of 27 cases as diagnosed by TTE were confirmed by surgery, and the other 8 cases were simple secundum ASD. These results suggested that the two dimensional echocardiography and Vpv max should be utilized in order to achieve a better diagnostic accuracy in the diagnosis of PS in the patients with ASD, and PS should be considered if the Vpv max increased to 2 65 to 3 25m/s.
