Objective To establish the culture technology system for the in-vitro induction of adventitious buds of Sarcandra glabra(Thumb.) Nakai by investigating the induction factors of in-vitro adventitious buds. Methods Stem segments of Sarcandra glabra were cultured as explants. The effects of culture medium with different concentrations of 6-benzylaminopurine(6-BA) and indole butyric acid(IBA) added, lighting time, light intensity, and temperature on the induction of adventitious buds from the explants were observed. Results The medium containing both 6-BA and IBA was more effective to induce shoot formation of Sarcandra glabra than the medium only containing 6-BA or IBA;high concentration of plant hormones would block the growth of the plantlets. The scattering light or faint direct light was suitable for the shoot formation, while dark or strong light would induce the plantlets withered or even dead.Temperature in the range of 25 ℃~30 ℃ was beneficial for the growth of adventitious buds, and the bud induction rate arrived 100% at the temperature of 25 ℃.Conclusion At the temperature of 25 ℃,the faint sunlight or direct light less than 2000 lux,and the medium with 2.5 mg?L-1 6-BA and 0.1 mg?L-1 IBA added can stimulate significantly the adventitious bud formation of Sarcandra glabra, the induction rate up to 82.98%.

Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2011;31(2):277-84
A simple method has been proposed for the determination of clozapine (CLZ) and chlorpromazine (CPZ) in human urine by dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) in combination with high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detector (HPLC-UV). All important variables influencing the extraction efficiency, such as pH, types of the extraction solvent and the disperser solvent and their volume, ionic strength and centrifugation time were investigated and optimized. Under the optimal conditions, the limit of detection (LODs) and quantification (LOQs) of the method were 13 and 39 ng/mL for CLZ, and 2 and 6 ng/mL for CPZ, respectively. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) of the targets were less than 5.1% (C=0.100 μg/mL, n=9). Good linear behaviors over the tested concentration ranges were obtained with the values of R (2)>0.999 for the targets. The absolute extraction efficiencies of CLZ and CPZ from the spiked blank urine samples were 98.3% and 97.8%, respectively. The applicability of the technique was validated by analyzing urine samples and the mean recoveries for spiked urine samples ranged from 93.3% to 105.0%. The method was successfully applied for the determination of CLZ and CPZ in real human urine.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(4):566-572
Objective:
To explore the influence of self-determination theory (SDT) on adolescent physical activity promotion.
Methods:
Six electronic databases including EBSCO host, Science Direct, Sports Discus, Springer Link, Pubmed, and Web of Science. The search period is from all databases to all relevant documents from the start date to May 18, 2019. An exhaustive collection of studies was selected to assess the relationship between motivation and physical activity in children and adolescents.
Results:
A total of 41 studies met the inclusion criteria. The overall level of self-determination motivation had a weak to moderate promotion of physical activity level (ρ=0.21-0.31). Autonomous forms of motivation (internal motivation and identification regulation) had a moderate role in promoting physical activity(ρ=0.27-0.38), while controlled forms of motivation (ie, introversion regulation and external motivation) had weak inhibition(ρ=-0.17--0.03). Lack of motivation showed a weak inhibitory effect on physical activity(ρ=-0.21--0.11).
Conclusion
Self-determination motives are significatly correlated with continued health promotion behaviors. Therefore, it is an effective method to promote physical health among children and adolescents with self-determination motive as an objective in the intervention.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the changes in respiratory and circulatory functions in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients during sequential invasive-noninvasive mechanical ventilation therapy, and evaluate the effects of this new technique.
METHODSTwelve COPD patients with type II respiratory failure due to severe pulmonary infection were ventilated through an endotracheal tube. When the pulmonary infection control window (PIC-Window) occurred, the patients were extubated and were ventilated with a facial mask using pressure support ventilation combined with positive end-expiratory pressure. The parameters of hemodynamics, oxygen dynamics, and esophageal pressure were measured at the PIC-Window during invasive mechanical ventilation, one hour after oxygen therapy via a naso-tube, and three hours after non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
RESULTSThe variation in esophageal pressure was 20.0 +/- 6 cmH(2)O during naso-tube oxygen therapy, and this variation was higher than that during non-invasive mechanical ventilation (10 +/- 6 cmH(2)O, P < 0.01). The changes in respiratory and circulatory parameters were not significantly different between invasive mechanical ventilation and noninvasive mechanical ventilation (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThe respiratory and circulatory functions of COPD patients remained stable during sequential invasive-noninvasive mechanical ventilation therapy using PIC-Window as a switch point for early extubation. The COPD patients can tolerated the transition from invasive mechanical ventilation to noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
