Modern Hospital 2015;(4):148-149,152
Objective To investigate the health status of the medical staffs in our hospital , find risk factors and make corresponding strategies to improve health of status .Methods Results of physical examination on 1203 medical staffs were analyzed by SAS 9.2.Results Total residual test ratio is 9.3%, and the residual test ratio of male was significantly higher than female (χ2=38.399,p <.0001).The prevalence ratio of all subject is 60.9%, and there was no significant difference between male and female , but the higher age category, the higher prevalence ratio (χ2=211.4037,p <.0001).The top 5 diseases our staffs suffering are waist and cervical vertebra disease , thyroid nodule, hyperlipidemia, breast hyperplasia and fatty liver, in which the prevalence ratio of thyroid nodule and hyperlipidemia was different between male and female .Conclusion The health status of our medical staffs should be improved by paying high attention to medical examination and health management .

Objective To observe the repairing effects of myoblasts from mesenchymal stem cells induced by MyoD transfection on muscle injury, and to explore its mechanism. Methods One hundred and sixty male SCID mice were randomly assigned into 4 groups [normal group, control group with injury, implantation with mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) group, and implantation with myoblasts group]. MSCs were transfected by pIRES2-EGFP-MyoD and differentiated into myoblasts. Myoblasts and MSCs were injected respectively into the muscular tissue injuried by cardiotoxin. The repairing effect in injuried muscles, which were injected with myoblasts and MSCs, was observed 1, 2, 4 and 6 weeks after the injection. Results The muscular tissue injury model was successfully reproduced. Both MSCs and myoblasts showed obvious repairing effects on the injured muscular tissue, and the strength of muscular tissue in myoblasts group was stronger than that in MSCs group. Western blot assay showed that MyoD expression in myoblasts group was much higher than that in both MSCs and control groups, the expressions of JNK1 and ERK2 were up-regulated in myoblasts group, and the p38 expression was down regulated significantly in the 1st week, but no significant difference was found when compared with those of the normal group at the 6th week. Conclusion Myoblasts transdifferentiated from MSCs induced by MyoD can repair the injuried muscular tissue effectively. JNK1, p38 and ERK2 play important roles in the repairing process.

BACKGROUND: With the development of neural interventional therapy, the application of covered stents in neural intervention is becoming a topic of general interest.OBJECTIVE: To introduce the structure of stent-graft, and to summary the application of covered stents in clinical treatment of the neural interventional therapy and the shortage of covered stents.RETRIEVAL STRATEGY:The relevant articled were searched for in Pubmed database by researcher of this article with the key words of "stent graft, covered stents, cerebrovascular disease" in English, and with the key words of "covered stent, cerebrovascular disease" in Chinese in VIP database. 223 English and 196 Chinese articles were selected and reviewed primarily. Inclusive criteria: Articles having a close relation with the application of covered stents in neural intervention, especially in cerebrovascular disease, and the latest articles or articles published in authority journals in the same field were chosen. Exclusive criteria: articles with repetitive studies were excluded.LITERATURE EVALUATION: 223 English and 196 Chinese articles were primarily checked by reading titles and abstracts. Among the 31 collected articles, 4 are reviews, 3 are experimental studies and others are clinical studies.DATA SYNTHESIS: Covered stents show special advantages in neural interventional therapy and become a hot spot in present study. There are individual case reports or small group case reports on the application of covered stents in hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease. It is reported that the covered stent effectively occludes aneurysm, dissecting aneurysm and arteriovenous fistula, keeps patency of the parent artery. The covered stent isolates ulcerated plaque via physical barriers, avoids the abscission of embolus, which can further reduce the development of embolism in percutaneous carotid artery stenting. After releasing covered stents, polytetrafluoroethylene makes the disepiment smooth. Its good biocompatibility reduces thrombosis, and then decreases the incidence of restenosis. Covered stents in vessel for cerebrovascular disease have achieved good effects, but there are some problems in clinic as follows. ①The main shortage of covered stents is to occlude small branch vessels. ②Thrombosis and restenosis occur after covered stenting. ③Covered stents increase the volume of the stent, reduce the compliance and flexibility of the stents, and increase the pushing difficulty and vascular injury. ④Covered stents cannot be used in vessels of less than 4 mm.CONCLUSION: Covered stents for intracranial ischemic and hemorrhagic diseases shows significant outcomes, but there are disadvantages. With the clarification of the related theories and the improvement of new material technology, there will be a brighter future of the application of covered stents for treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.

Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of female bladder outlet obstruction (BOO) with bladder pain as major symptom. Methods From November 2008 to December 2012,21 female patients suffered from urinary frequency, urgency, pain in suprapubic area during bladder filling phase were enrolled in the study.Video-urodynamics (VUD) study combined with free urinary flow rate andresidual urine were performed in all patients in order to make the diagnosis of BOO clearly. The mean maximum urinary flow rate was (11.5±3.6) ml/s,and the mean maximal detrusor pressure was (39.1±17.8) cmH2O.Combining with the voiding radiography,19 patients were diagnosed as bladder neck obstruction, and the other 2 were diagnosed as urethral stricture. All patients were accepted the hydrodistension under the epidural anesthesia. The bladder biopsy was performed if the typical glomerulations were observed under the cystoscopy.Bladder neck incision and urethral dilatation were performed on these patients respectively.Symptom changes of bladder pain were recorded by using O'Leary-Sant scale, the pain, urgency, frequency symptom (PUF) scale and quality of Life (QOL) Scale. The data were collected within 48 months postoperation, respectively. Results The pathological findings of bladder mucosa biopsy showed acute or chronic inflammation in all patients. The mean follow-up was 6.7±5.9 months. We compared the corresponding data such as:voiding times per day, nocturnal frequency,O'Leary Sant scores,PUF and QOL between pre and post-treatment.Significant differences were observed during all corresponding data (P<0.05).The voiding times per day changed from 24.3± 11.8 to 13.0±5.9.The nocturnal frequency decreased from 6.5±2.7 to 3.3± 1.6.O'Leary Sant scores changed from 24.6±7.3 to 14.7±7.4.The PUF scores changed from 22.9±6.2 to 12.0± 7.1.And the QOL scores changed from 5.0±0.8 to 2.9±1.5.Conclusions Free urinary flow rate and residual urine combined with VUD are very important in diagnosing female BOO with bladder pain as major symptom.Bladder pain symptoms will be significantly improved after the obstruction was relieved according to VUD results.
