Oviduct, egg and protein contents of 1~3 years old Rana chensinensis were studied. Results showed thatthe oviduct content and the absolute value of eggs were significantly higher in 3-year o1d frogs,While the rela-tive va1ue of eggs was highest in 2 years old frogs- Crude protein content varied in different aged group as wellas in different parts of the body, with eggs containing the highest amount. Protein in oviduct was comparative-ly consistant. Protein content in deviscerized body was rather high with no significant difference between maleand female. Frogs before and after hibernation have essentially similar oviduct and protein content, but eggcontent were significantly higher after hibernation. Protein content in eggs was not notab1y changed.

Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2003;0(02):-
Objective: This study is to examine the effects of different protective methods with DHCA on neuron injury of hippocampus. Methods: Sixteen pigs (22-25 kg) were divided randomly into four groups. Group I: DHCA; group II: ACP; group III: RCP; group IV: RCP+Nim. All animals were under deep hypothemia (18℃) and total circulatory arrest for 90 minutes, and then rewarmed 120 minutes until the pharyneal temperature to 36℃. End of the study, left hippocampi were removed and then dissociated. These dissociated cells were stained with Annexin V-FITC and then measured with flow cytometry to analyze neuron apoptosis. The morphological changes were examined by electron microscope. Results: Normal cell percentage was the lowest in group I. Compared with group III, normal cell percentage was higher in group II. There were no significant differences between group II and group IV, or group III and group IV. Early apoptotic cell percentage was higher in group I than that in the other three groups, and it is higher in group II than that in group III. There were no significant differences between group II and group IV, or group III and group IV. Both necrotic cell percentage and dead cell percentage were higher in group I than that in the other three groups and there was no significant difference between the other three groups (P=0.05). Conclusion: Apoptosis, necroses and death of neuron after DHCA is the main cause of postoperative nervous dysfunction. ACP has better protective effect on neuron by decreasing cell apoptosis and death. RCP could also reduce cell apoptosis and death but the effect is not as good as that of ACP. Nimodipine depresses partly calcium influx by blocking up VDCC and its protective effect is slight.

Objective To study the resuscitation effect of cavum ossis infusion of hypertonic saline solution on hemorrhagic shock canine, and investigate the corresponding internal microenvironment changes. Methods Eighteen healthy Wiggers dogs weighed 16-19kg were adopted in present study and assigned into three groups(6 each): group HSH,group NS and group Sham.Hemorrhagic shock canine model was established.Dogs in HSH group received a rapid cavum ossis infusion with 7.5% hypertonic resuscitation solution(sodium chloride + 6% hydroxyethyl starch),and the dogs in group NS was only given 7.5% sodium chloride solution, while the dogs in Sham group were treated by general anaesthesia, assisted respiration with breathing machine and without bleeding and transfusion.Changes of central venous pressure(CVP),mean arterial pressure(MAP),intramedullary pressure(IMP),and the levels of blood lactate and sodium were monitored during the resuscitation phase. Results During hemorrhagic shock stage, the haemodynamic parameters MAP,CVP and IMP in groups HSH and NS decreased significantly, while blood lactate significantly increased at each time point as compared with that in group Sham(P0.05).The lactate level during resuscitation phase in group HSH decreased significantly as compared with that during hemorrhagic shock stage(P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(02):-
Objective To study the therapeutic action of SHENFU (ginseng-aconite) injection on post-operation of liver transplantation. Methods From Jan. 2004 to Mar. 2005, 30 cases underwent orthotopic liver allotransplantation were divided into two groups randomly. The patients in control group received routine transfusion, while the patients in SHENFU injection group, besides the routine transfusion, received SHENFU injection as well. Results 120 minutes after the SHENFU treatment, the mean arterial pressure (MAP) of the patients was raised from 53.21?8.52mmHg to 75.62?7.58mmHg, meanwhile the heart rate (HR) declined from 115.3?13.2/min to 90.1?7.2/min. At the same time, the contents of lactic acid, IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-? in the patients also declined from 9.82?3.96mmol/L, 89.02?43.75pg/ml, 58.24?33.61 pg/ml and 42.33?28.15pg/ml to 4.31?2.11mmol/L, 30.08?25.12pg/ml, 29.83?20.05pg/ml and 24.52?15.61pg/ml, respectively. Compared with the control group, there existed significant differences (P

ObjectiveTo observe the risk factors influencing the prognosis of critical ill patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).MethodsThe clinical data of 67 critical ill patients with ARDS from 2003 to 2004 were reviewed retrospectively.ResultsThe acute physiology and chronic health evaluation (APACHEⅡ) scores and age were all differed significantly between survivors and non-survivors groups (P<0.05). The earlier of respiratory supported, the lowest of mortality (P<0.05).Conclusion APACHEⅡ scores, age and the time of starting respiratory support are main risk factors for mortality of critical ill patients with ARDS.

Objective To analyze health status and characters of health service demand and utilization among farmers and herdsmen in Kangxiwa and Saitula border areas from the altitude of 3700m to 4300m for offered scientific advices to the health management institutions for optimizing the allocation of health resources. Methods A total of 51 families in the Kangxiwa and Saitula areas in Karakorum-Kunlun Mountains were randomly chosen with stratified sampling method for the family health survey.Physical and biochemical examination were carried out for each herdsman. Results Among the participants, the most disease the two-week medical consultation rate was 1.74%.the hospitalization rate was 0.98%.The two-week medical consultation and hospitalization rate of herds were lower than the national and Xinjiang level for rural area.Herdsmen's doctor poor accessibility and low-income may be the main reasons for the underutilization of health services ;The difficult situation of herdsmen has been initially improved after participating in the new rural cooperative medical care. Conclusion The health status of native herdsmen in Kara Kunlun mountains was poor, and the provision of health services cannot meet the demand for health service of native herdsmen. It's necessary to improve efficiency of utilization of health service and optimize the allocation of health resources.
