1.Clinical investigation of epilepsy after stroke attack
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(11):-
Objective To investigate and analyze the characteristics, therapy and prognosis of epilepsy after stroke attack. Methods Different loci of stroke attack induced epilepsy were analyzed and compared of the time and chance, therapy and prognosis. Results The most common chance of epilepsy was seen in subarachnoid hemorrhage and cerebral embolism, dominated 14.78% and 10.28% respectively, and also happened in the initial stage. The most high epilepsy rate was shown in cortex and involved cortex lesions. Conclusions Stroke attack was one of im- portant cause of epilepsy in senile. The incidence rate of epilepsy was prominently related to location and nature of the focus, because of the difference of pathologic mechanism,it was easier to control early epilepsy, late epilepsy mostly need antiepilepsy drugs for a long time.
2.Clinical analysis of 106 cases of brain metastatic carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the clinical and CT characteristics of metastatic brain carcinoma and the differential diagnosis with other intracranial lesions and promote diagnostic level one step more, and to diminish misdiagnosis. Methods 106 cases metastatic brain tumor confirmed by CT and other methods in our hospital from 1990 to 2005 were retrospectively studied about clinical appearance and the relationship with anatomy and physiology, characteristics of CT and the main point of differential diagnosis. Results Metastatic brain carcinoma mainly could be devided to three following types based on clinical expressions, among them, apoplexic type dominated 46 cases(43.4%),epileptic type 26 cases(24.5%),brain tumor type 24 cases(21.6%),the clinical expressions correlated to anatomy and phyiology of lesion in each type,CT plain scan most appeared low density or equal density space occupying enhanced CT scan foci showed different degree stronger in lesion, and characteristic of perifocal edema. Conclusion The clinical appearance of brain metastatic carcinoma is various, easily misdiagnosed in early stage, looking for the primary tumor is the rather important diagnostic dependencies, enhanced CT scan is an important diagnostic method.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2002;0(S1):-
Objective To investigate etiology , clinical characteristics and imaging expression of senile brain stem infarct. Methods The etiology and characteristics of clinic, CT and MRI of 51 cases had been summarized . Results The main causes had hypertension, diabetes mellitus and hyperlipidemia, symptoms complicated, frequently occuring site was brain pontine. Conclusion The main clinical appearances of brain stem infarct are complicated and varies, including typical cranial and cross symptoms, and non-typical early diagnosis, so it is easy to misdiagnose and miss diagnose, MRI had unique advantage in the diagnosis of brain stem infarct .

OBJECTIVE:To compare the cost-effectiveness among four different antiemetic schemes for prevention vomiting induced by chemotherapy in patients with lung cancer.METHODS:120 patients receiving cisplatin chemotherapy were divided into 4 groups:Ondansetron(Group A),Tropisetron(Group B),Ramosetron(Group C),and Metoclopramide(Group D).The therapeutic effects were monitored and the cost-effectiveness analysis was performed on the four treatment schemes.RESULTS:The effective rates of the four groups were 87.3%,92.7%,90.7% and 61.3% respectively;the cost-effectiveness ratios were 684.77,906.37,222.33 and 45.02,respectively;and the incremental cost-effectiveness ratios of A,B and C group were 2 193.08,2 587.90 and 592.01 respectively as against Group D.CONCLUSION:Ramosetron is the most rational one among the 4 schemes.
