1.Research progress on type Ⅱ innate lymphoid cells in respiratory mucosal immunity and lung diseases
Chinese Journal of Immunology 2015;(4):433-439
Type Ⅱ innate lymphoid cells is an emerging family of innate lymphocytes mainly distributed in mucosal tissues such as the lungs, intestines, skin, etc. These cells are capable of producing Th2-type cytokines including IL-5 and IL-13 in response to IL-25 and IL-33.ILC2s has attracted much attention for its important roles in anti-infection immunity and allergic diseases in respiratory tract.Studies have shown that ILC2s represented a crucial source of Th2-type cytokines and could regulate the adaptive immune response in allergic airway diseases.Meanwhile,ILC2s was able to fulfill vital functions in parasite clearance, anti-virus infection and subsequent tissue repair. Therefore, research in ILC2s phenotype, development and function has great practical significance. This paper reviews the definition, classification, developmental regulation of ILC2s with a particular focus on its role in respiratory mucosal homeostasis and lung-related diseases.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2014;30(6):460-462
OBJECTIVE:
To explore the applications of imaging examination on rib fracture sites in forensic identification.
METHODS:
Features including the sites, numbers of the processed imaging examination and the first radiological technology at diagnosis in 56 cases of rib fractures from 163 injuries were retrospectively analyzed.
RESULTS:
The detection rate of the rib fractures within 14 days was 65.6%. The initial detection rate of anterior rib fracture proceeded by X-ray was 76.2%, then 90.5% detected at a second time X-ray, while the detection rate of CT was 66.7% and 80.0%, respectively. The initial detec- tion rate of rib fracture in axillary section proceeded by X-ray was 27.6%, then 58.6% detected at a second time X-ray, while the detection rate of CT was 54.3% and 80.4%, respectively. The initial detection rate of posterior rib fracture proceeded by X-ray was 63.6%, then 81.8% detected at a second time X-ray, while the detection rate of CT was 50.0% and 70.0%, respectively.
CONCLUSION
It is important to pay attention to the use of combined imaging examinations and the follow-up results. In the cases of suspicious for rib fracture in axillary section, CT examination is suggested in such false X-ray negative cases.

4.Autologous bone marrow stem cell transplantation for arteriosclerosis obliterans:a 7-year outcome evaluation
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(41):6671-6676
BACKGROUND:With the development of surgical techniques and endovascular treatment techniques, the therapeutic efficacy on arteriosclerosis obliterans of the lower limbs has been improved greatly. As the long-term prognosis is stil not clear, how to treat arteriosclerosis obliterans of the lower limbs is stil a problem for vascular surgery. OBJECTIVE:To observe the long-term clinical efficacy of autologous bone marrow stem cel transplantation in the treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans of the lower limbs. METHODS:Thirty-nine patients with arteriosclerosis obliterans who had undergone autologous bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels (totaly 56 times of cel transplantation) from September 2007 to July 2013 were enroled in this study. As of February 2015, the folow-up time was 7.5 years. After treatment, regular telephone folow-up about limb pain, cold sensation, intermittent claudication distance, resting ankle-brachial index and limb ulcer size and depth was done annualy; at 1 year after treatment, limb arteriography and venous blood gas analysis were reviewed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Of the enroled 39 patients, 4 patients were subjected to amputation because of poor efficacy, 2 patients died of acute myocardial infarction, and 2 patients died of not timely amputation. There were 31 patients who had been folowed up for over 3 years. After treatment, the resting ankle-brachial index and limb ulcer size and depth limb pain were both improved significantly. There were significant differences in 1-year limb blood oxygen partial pressure and oxygen saturation before and after treatment, and the postoperative number of capilaries also increased significantly. These findings indicate that autologous bone marrow stem cel transplantation is a safe treatment for arteriosclerosis obliterans of the lower limbs with better and stable long-term curative effects. This method is a good choice for patients who have poor blood vessels and poor efficacy of traditional methods.
5.Correlation between polymorphism of CYP2D6 gene with effect of tamoxifen in patients with breast cancer
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2014;29(4):299-302
Objective To investigate the correlation of CYP2D6 gene polymorphism and serum tamoxifen (TAM) and its active metabolites (4-hydroxy tamoxifen,4-OH-TAM) in terms of prognosis of breast cancer patients. Methods The oral mucosas and serum were obtained from 200 breast cancer patients receiving oral TAM from Jan 2008 to Oct 2010.Real-time RT-PCR was used to determine CYP2D6* 10 gene polymorphism. The relationship between CYP2D6* 10 gene polymorphism and clinicopathological features and prognosis was assessed by Chi-square test and Cox proportional model.Serum TAM and 4-OH-TAM concentration were determined by liquid chromatography-trap mass spectrometry (LC-MS).Results Of 200 breast cancer patients,CYP2D6 * 10/* 10 homozygotes were found in 94 cases (47%),CYP2D6 wt/wt wild type in 48 cases (24%) and CYP2D6 wt/* 10 heterozygote in 58 cases (29%).The concentration of serum 4-OH-TAM in patients with CYP2D6 wt/wt wild type and wt/* 10 heterozygote was significantly higher than that in patients with CYP2D6 * 10/ * 10 homozygote (F =4.31,P =0.01).CYP2D6 gene polymorphism was not related to clinicopathological features (P > 0.05).Logrank test showed that patient's disease-free survival with mutational CYP2D6 (mean,47.2 months) was significantly shorter than that in patients without mutational CYP2D6 (mean,51.2 months) (P =0.018).Cox proportional model showed that CYP2D6 genotype was related to disease-free survival (HR =2.755,95%CI:1.230 ~6.173,P =0.014).Conclusions CYP2D6 *10/* 10 genotype is related to curative effect of TAM on breast cancer patients, detection of CYP2D6 * 10/* 10 genotype helps improve the choice of TAM therapy.

China Oncology 1998;0(01):-
Protein tyrosine kinase genes are the largest family of oncogenes. This is not surprising since protein tyrosine kinases are important components of signal transduction pathways that control cell shapes, proliferation, differentiation, and migration. This review will address the recent progress in understanding the function of Eph receptor and ephrin ligands in normal development and how disregulation of these functions could promote tumorigenesis.
