Objective: To discover the connection between migraine and Tianmashouwu Tablet (TMT) in endothelial cell perspective. Methods: Serum containing TMT was added to rat's cerebral capilary endothelial cell's culture to observe the changes of NO and ET, and effect on express of ETmRNA and iNOSmRNA. Results: Levels of iNOSmRNA, rCMECs and ETmRNA were all downregulated, and contents of both NO and ET were decreased. Conclusions: TMT is effective in protection against rCMECs induced apoptosis, and has a therapeutic effect on migraine.

Guidelines of Prevention and treatment of Children's Influenza A (H1N1) with TCM includes four parts of prevention, diagnosis, clinic treatment and nursing. The drug prophylaxis stresses on administration by identified body without diseases, which includes normal constitution, qi-deficiency constitution, inner-heat constitution and phlegm-damp constitution, children of different constitution are given different appropriate drugs. The treatment bases on syndrome differentiation, such as mild syndrome, severe syndrome, crises and convalescence. The syndrome-classification includes wind-heat invading the exterior, dampness obstructing defensive qi, the heat-toxin blocking the lung, exuberant toxin in both qi and ying, deficiency of heart-yang, the evil sinking into jueyin, residual evil remaining in the body and the deficiency of both qi and yin. The nursing emphasizes the isolation, keeping body warm, bland diet and nursing during convalescence.

Objective:To examine the relationship between cross-ethnic friendship and cross-ethnic face perceptual memory in the regions where the population ratios of the Uygurs and the Hans are different. Methods:According to demographic criteria,33 Han college students with lower contact with Uygurs from the area where Uygur and Han population ratio was 1 ∶ 9,32 Uygur college students with lower contact with Hans from the area where Uygur and Han population ratio was 9∶1,and 32 Uygur with higher contact with Hans and 34 Han students with higher contact with Uygurs from the area where Uygur and Han population ratio was 4∶6 were recruited in the study.Relying on E-prime program, the learning-recognition paradigm was adopted to compare the difference between the participants'recognition for faces of one's own race and others.Meanwhile, based on self-reported Friendship Quality Questionnaires, participants'Time Spent and Intimacy with out-group friends were assessed as the measurement of inter-group friendship. Results:The accurate rate, false alarm rate and discrimination accuracy demonstrated a significant own-race advantage for the Uygurs with lower contact and higher contact with the Hans (Ps < 0.01),whereas the Hans with higher contact and lower contact with the Uygurs did not show significant difference between own-race faces and other-race faces on these variables (Ps > 0.05).Stepwise regression analysis showed that the regression coefficients of the interracial intimacy and time spent with out-group friends toward the magnitude of crossrace effect were stably significant (β =-0.87,-0.56,Ps < 0.01).Conclusion:The Uygur and Han students may prefer different encoding strategies in face recognition, and inter-group friendship experience may be an appropriate variable for predicting the ability to recognize other-race faces with good reliability and validity.

OBJECTIVE: To work out a qualitative diagnostic criterion for basic syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with primary liver cancer. METHODS: Based on the collection and analysis of related medical literature, clinical investigation, and experts' discussion, a preliminary qualitative diagnostic criterion for basic syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with primary liver cancer was formulated. Then it was used in clinic to be verified and revised repeatedly till it was improved to be a satisfied formal criterion. RESULTS: The basic syndromes listed in the qualitative diagnostic criterion for basic syndromes in patients with primary liver cancer consisted of two parts: excessive syndromes, including the syndromes of stagnation of qi, blood stasis, excess-heat and dampness, and deficient syndromes, including the syndromes of deficiency of qi, deficiency of blood, deficiency of yin and deficiency of yang. Each of the above syndromes could be diagnosed according to specific combination of its corresponding symptoms or signs. The clinical verification results showed that the total matching ratio was 73.92% between the diagnoses made according to the criterion and the diagnoses acquired from the experts' experience. CONCLUSIONS: The qualitative diagnostic criterion for basic syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with primary liver cancer is coincident with the experts' clinical practice. However, it needs to be further studied.
