1.Detoxication effect of water-soluble imprinted cross-linked chitosan on depleted uranium induced toxicity to renal cells.

To investigate whether a series of water-soluble cross-linked chitosan derivates synthesized in the guide of imprinting technology could be used as a uranium chelating agent to protect cells exposed to depleted uranium (DU), the imprinted chitosan derivates with high UO2(2+) chelating ability were screened, and cell model of human renal proximal tubule epithelium cells (HK-2) exposed to DU (500 micromol.L-1) was built, chitosan derivates (400 mg.L-1 ) was added to test group and diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA, 50 mg.L-1) was added to positive control group. The results showed that three Cu2+ imprinted chitosan derivates had higher uranium chelating ability (>49 microg.mg-1) than chitosan and non-imprinted chitosan derivates. Compared to the cells exposed to DU only, survival of cells in group added chitosan derivates rose up significantly (increased from 57.3% to 88.7%, and DTPA to 72.6%), and DU intracellular accumulation decreased, membrane damage and DNA damage also eased. Among the imprinted chitosan derivates, Cu2+ imprinted penta dialdehyde cross-linked carboxymethyl chitosan (Cu-P-CMC) was the best, and better than DTPA. From ultrastructure observation, the DU precipitates of test group added Cu-P-CMC were most grouped in a big hairy clusters in a string together outside cells. It is possible that the DU-chitosan derivates precipitates are too big to enter into cells, and from this way, the DU uptake by cells decreased so as to detoxication.
3.Study on Preparation Technique and Quality Standard for New Shengfa Pills

Objective:To study the preparation technique and quality standard for new Shengfa pills. Methods: The best water extraction process of the medicinal herbs was optimized by orthogonal test using stilbene glucoside content and dry extract percent as the indices. The content of stilbene glucoside was determined by HPLC, and Hyssop and Chinese angelica in the preparation were identified by TLC. Results:The optimized preparation conditions were as follows:12-fold water was used in the 3-time extraction with 1 h for each time. The spots in TLC were clear without interference from the negative control. Conclusion:The preparation process is reasona-ble and feasible in techniques with controllable quality.
4.Effects of 2000 μW/cm2 electromagnetic radiation on expression of immunoreactive protein and mRNA of NR1 subunit of NMDA receptor in rat hippocampus

Objective To evaluate the effects of electromagnetic irradiation of 2000 μW/cm2 exposure on mRNA and protein expression levels of immunoreactive protein and mRNA of NMDAR1 in rats hippocampal,and to explore the impaired mechanism of electromagnetic irradiation on learning and memory.Methods Rats were randomly divided into normal control group, sham-radiated group, and 1 h/d, 2 h/d, and 3 h/d radiation groups.The rats in the radiation groups were fixed and recieved microwave exposure of 2000 μW/cm2, then their learning and memory abilities were tested by Morris water maze experiment, the change of NR1 protein in hippocampal neurons of each group of rats was measured with immunohistochmistry and western blot techniques, and the expression of NR1 mRNA in hippocampus was determined by RT-PCR.Results In the water maze test,compared with the normal control group (8.8 ± 1.66 ), the escape latency of three radiated groups rats ( 1 h/d ( 12.29 ±1.36) s,2 h/d ( 17.99 ±2.25) s,and 3 h/d (24.66 ±5.56) s) were significantly longer (P<0.05).In the radiation group,the hippocampal neurons of rats showed evident reduction in the ratio of NR1 positive cells,irregular,and arrayed in disorder.Moreover,compared with the normal control group ( (0.70 ±0.11 ), (0.68 ±0.11 ) ) ,the expession of NR1 protein ( 1 h/d (0.122 ±0.026) ,2 h/d (0.102 ±0.023) ,and 3 h/d (0.060 ± 0.009) ) and its mRNA ( 1 h/d (0.46 ±0.07) ,2 h/d (0.35 ±0.05) ,and 3 h/d (0.12 ±0.02) ) in hippocampal neurons was significantly decreased (P<0.05).Among the indicators, there was no significant difference between sham-radiated group and normal control group.Conclusions Electromagnetic irradiation of 2000 μW/cm2 exposure can impair the learning and memory abilities of rats possibly through a mechanism correlated with the lower expression of NR1 protein and its mRNA in hippocampus.
5.Antimicrobial resistance profile and genotypes of Haemophilus influenzae isolates from respiratory tract in children

Objective To investigate the antibiotic resistance profile and ftsⅠ genotypes of Haemophilus influenzae isolates from respiratory tract in children.Methods A total of 141 consecutive nonduplicate clinical strains of H.influenzae were collected from January to March 2016.Antimicrobial susceptibility was determined using Kirby-Bauer method.Beta-lactamase production was detected by nitrocefin disk test.PCR technique was employed for ftsⅠ genotyping.Antimicrobial resistance was compared between differentfisⅠ genotypes.Results The prevalence of β-lactamases was 40.4% (57/141) in H.influenzae isolates.More than half (53.2%,75/141) of the strains were resistant to ampicillin.Mutation offtsI gene was positive in 72.3% (102/141) of the isolates.The dominant genotype of genomic beta-lactamase-negative ampicillin-resistant (gBLNAR) strains was type Ⅲ (72/102,70.6%).The gBLNAR strains showed higher resistance rate to ampicillin and cefuroxime than the genomic beta-lactamase-negative ampicillin susceptible (gBLNAS) strains (P<0.05).Conclusions High prevalence offisⅠgene mutation is found in the strains ofH.influenzae isolated from respiratory tract in children.The dominant genotype of gBLNAR strains was type Ⅲ.Mutation offtsⅠ gene in H.influenzae is associated with higher resistance rate to ampicillin and cefuroxime.
6.Chest X-ray film evaluate the impact of Nuss procedure on chest wall

Objective To evaluate the thoracic status of patients with funnel chest by quantitative evaluation of chest Xray,and to explore the effect of Nuss surgery.Methods From October 2006 to February 2011,according to the inclusion criteria,there were 47 cases enrolled our group at last,then divided the cases into 3 groups,including pre-operative of Nuss procedure,recent post-bar removal and further post-bar removal.We measured data on chest radiography and statistical analysis,including the maximal distance of the outer boundary of each rib pairs (C,from the 1 st pair to the 9th),the distance between lung apex to the costophrenic angle (H) and the distance between the two costophrenic angles(W).Results All the 47 cases completed the Nuss procedure and Nuss bar removal safely and effectively.All the patients were followed up from 30 to 36 months,without recurrence or long-term complications.Three groups of thoracic data showed an increasing trend,recent post-bar removal and further post-bar removal compared with the same age normal children,the thoracic data of the Nuss bar position were shortened.With the prolongation of time after Nuss bar removal,thoracic data gradually approaching normal.Conclusion We can evaluate the level of pectus excavatum and effect of Nuss procedure through measuring the chest wall data.The chest wall of post-bar removal was significantly improvement compared to the cases of pre-Nuss procedure.There is some restrictions on the thoracic by the Nuss bar.we learn that the limitation of thoracic can be improve after some time.
7.Early experience with mechanical hemodynamic support for catheter ablation of malignant ventricular tachycardia

Objective:To explore the role of mechanical hemodynamic support (MHS) in mapping and catheter ablation of patients with hemodynamically unstable ventricular tachycardia (VT), report single-center experience in a cohort of consecutive patients receiving VT ablation during MHS therapy, and provide evidence-based medical evidence for clinical practice.Methods:This was a retrospective cohort study. Patients with hemodynamically unstable VT who underwent catheter ablation with MHS at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University between August 2021 and December 2023 were included. Patients were divided into rescue group and preventive group according to the purpose of treatment. Their demographic data, periprocedural details, and clinical outcomes were collected and analyzed.Results:A total of 15 patients with hemodynamically unstable VT were included (8 patients in the rescue group and 7 patients in the preventive group). The acute procedure was successful in all patients. One patient in the rescue group had surgical left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation, remaining 14 patients received extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) for circulation support. ECMO decannulation was performed in 12 patients due to clinical and hemodynamic stability, of which 6 patients were decannulation immediately after surgery and the remaining patients were decannulation at 2.0 (2.5) d after surgery. Two patients in the rescue group died during the index admission due to refractory heart failure and cerebral hemorrhage. During a median follow-up of 30 d (1 d to 12 months), one patient with LVAD had one episode of ventricular fibrillation at 6 months after discharge, and no further episodes of ventricular fibrillation and/or VT occurred after treatment with antiarrhythmic drugs. No malignant ventricular arrhythmia occurred in the remaining 12 patients who were followed up.Conclusions:MHS contributes to the successful completion of mapping and catheter ablation in patients with hemodynamically unstable VT, providing desirable hemodynamic status for emergency and elective conditions.
