Objective To discuss the influence of Open resetlogs on Oracle database recovery. Methods Database backup was used to recover database before resetlogs. Before Oracle 9i, Oracle database was recovered through two steps; after Oracle10g, Oracle archived redo log by new format. Results Both methods could recover Oracle database by using backups before resetlogs. Conclusion Before Oracle9i, the recovery steps are complex, so it is suggested a consistent database backup should be made after resetlogs. By using the new archived redo log format after Oracle10g, it is easy to recover database through resetlogs.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(07):-
Object To study the pharmacokinetics of cinnamic acid in BAOXIN PILL * in rat. Methods Plasma concentration of cinnamic acid was determined by HPLC under the following conditions: column: Hypersil ODS C 18 (150 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m); column temperature 30 ℃; mobile phase methanol-1% acetic acid (45∶55); flow rate 0.5 mL/min; detection wavelength 273 nm; aliquot injected 10 ?L. Results A method for the determination of plasma cinnamic acid concentration by HPLC was established. Regression equation of cinnamic acid peak area (Y) and plasma concentration (X) was found to be: Y= 4 973.534 8 +42 867.96 678 X; correlation factor r=0.999 8; rate of cinnamic acid recovery from plasma=97.50% and RSD=1.33%; detection limit=0.15 ng; minimal dectable concentration in rat plasma=75 ng/mL. Absorption pattern of cinnamic acid after ig does showed linearity, corresponding to a first order absorption and elimination of open chamber model. The t 1/2 (K a)=7.12 min; t max =53.29 min, C max =0.20 ?g/mL, and t 1/2 (Ke)=340.74 min. Conclusion The pharmacokinetic parameters obtained in this study may be attributed to the combined action of cinnamic acid and other constituents in the compound preparation of BAOXIN PILL.

AIM: To optimize the best prescription of micro-emulsions of volatile oil in rhubarb of compound liquid spray by triangular phase diagram METHODS : Poloxamer-108 was used as emulsifiers, absolute alcohol as assistant emulsifiers, volatile oil from Lonicera dasystyla and Curcuma longa as the oil phase, the proportion between the emulsifier and append-emulsifier was established RESULTS : Optimized ratio of Poloxamer-108 and alcohol was 1∶10,the volatile oil in prescription formed micro-emulsions,distributing stably in the spray CONCLUSION : The study of micro-emulsions of volatile oil in compound liquid preparation of traditional Chinese medicine by triangular phase diagram offered a short-cut for resolving its stability. The experiment also suggested that the micro-emulsions could increase solubility of insoluble volatile oil from TCM.

Objective To explore the application of case-based discussion combined with translational medicine teaching method in clinical teaching of gastrointestinal surgery. Methods Totally 100 undergraduates of clinical medicine in grade 2007 and 100 undergraduates in grade 2008 from the second military medical university were divided into experimental class (50 students,25 in discussion class and 25 in comprehensive class) and control class (50 students).Method of case-based discussion was applied in discussion class; method of case-based discussion combined with translational medicine was employed in comprehensive class and traditional method was used in control class. Results Scores in experimental class were superior to those in control class ; questionnaire survey showed that 90% students thought the new model was better than the traditional model; the interests of students in exploring clinical problem in experimental class were increased (90% vs.50% ) ;the sense of mission and responsibility was Strengthened (86% vs.64% ) ;the scientific research thinking was more active (80% vs.48% ) ; the individual ability and quality were enhanced (76% vs.50% ),the depth and width of study were markedly increased (80% vs.52% ),the consciousness of independent study and thinking was strengthened (88% vs.54% ).Comprehensive class had more obvious improvements in scientific research thinking, individual ability and quality, depth and width of study, independent study and thinking. Conclusions The new teaching model which combined translational medicine with case discussion breaks through the traditional model and adapts to the requirements of modem medicine,it can enhance the teaching effect and worth promoting in educational reform.

qualitative and quantitative analysis of solid depolymerization products for supercritical methanolysis of ploy(ethylene terephthalate) polyester (PET) were studied by means of reversedphase high performance liquid chromatogr aphy on ZorbaxC8(4.6mm×250mm) with 70%(V/V) methanol as mobile phase. The results showed that the solid depolymerization products were mainly composed of dimethyl terephthalate (DMT), methyl(2hydroxyethyl)terephthalate (MHET), bis(hydroxyethyl)tere phthalate (BHET), dimers and oligomers, which could be separated effectively under the above chromatographic conditions. The calibration curves of DMT and BHET were linear in the range of 1.0~45 mg/L (n=8),r=0.9998~1.0000 and RSD<2.8%. The determination limits of DMT and BHET were 4.0×10-4μg and 6.0×10-4μg respectively.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the therapeutic effects of 0.3% levofloxacin eyedrops on the acute bacterial conjunctivitis and keratitis.METHODS: The patients were randomly divided into treated group and control group. They were given 0.3% levofloxacin and 0.3% ofloxacin eyedrops respectively. The effects were compared between two groups.RESULTS: From April 1998 to December 1998, 132 cases were enrolled in the study: treated group 67 cases, control group 65 cases. The positive rates of bacterial culture were over 80% in both groups. It showed that there was no significant difference between two eyedrops in the curative and effective rates, but the mean cure day of keratitis in levofloxacin group was significantly shorter than that in ofloxacin group.CONCLUSION: Levofloxacin eyedrops is effective and safe in treating bacterial conjunctivitis and keratitis, and the therapeutic course is short and no obvious ARDs occur.
