1.Expression Characteristics of Enzyme Activity of a Multi-functional Bacterial Community NSC-7
Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
In order to determine the degradation activity of the microbial community NSC-7, which had effi- cient cellulose and lindan degrading ability, degrading ability and four kinds of cellulase activity and hemi- cellulase activity were detected during degradation progress. The results showed that NSC-7 could degrade 73.6% of rice staw in weight, including 82.1% of cellulose, 58.2% of hemicellulase, and 5.4% of lignin within fourteen days. Endoglucanases, exoglucanases, ?-glucosidases and the total cellulase activities reached to maximum at the eighth day, and they were 4.48 U/mL, 15.83 U/mL, 25.78 U/mL and 7.51U /mL, respectively. The maximum of hemicellulase activity was 280.6 U/mL at the fifth day, and the average of hemicellulase activity was 43.71 times higher than cellulase activity.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2012;(12):1238-1242
The author designed and practiced group PK teaching model in Pharmaceutical Botany combined with the ideas of educational skill training program in Peking university aiming at promoting students' learning initiative and enthusiasm as well as collective and teamwork sense. The paper discussed the concept of group PK teaching, requirements for teaching design and problems which should be noted in practice from the aspects of introduction, design and practice of the method as well as teaching effect evaluation and teaching method reflection.Survey questionnaire was used to evaluate the preliminary teaching effect of the new teaching method and to explore its teaching thought and educational idea.In practice, group PK teaching model improved students' self-learning awareness and ability, communication skills, collective and teamwork sense.
3.Drug resistance of EGFR-TKI for non-small cell lung cancer
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2013;(19):1207-1209
The incidence of lung cancer ranks the first among malignancies in China. Studies on molecular-targeted therapy with epidermal growth factor receptor-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKIs) have atracted more attention. However, many patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) manifest primary symptoms at the beginning of therapy;other patients develop drug resistance after they receive EGFR-TKI treatment for a period. This review describes the progress on drug resistance mechanisms of EGFR-TKIs at a molecular level and the significance of such inhibitors in clinical application.

Objective To summarize the experience of combination use of biliary stent placement and drainage with primary suture of the common bile duct in the treatment of choledocholithiasis. Methods Laparoscopic common bile duct exploration combined with flexible choledochoscopy was performed in 16 patients with choledocholithiasis from June 2005 to March 2006. During the operation, a patented “biliary stent for internal drainage” was introduced into the common bile duct, and primary sutures were performed to close the bile duct. Postoperatively, the stent was removed under gastroscope or duodenoscope. Results All the 16 operations were successfully accomplished without conversions to open surgery. The operative time was 90~260 min (mean, 145 min). The biliary stent was removed 5~7 days after the surgery. Follow-up for 3~12 months showed no residual stones or biliary stenosis. Conclusions Combination use of biliary stent drainage and primary suture of the common bile duct in the treatment of choledocholithiasis is safe and feasible.

Objective To explore the influence of smoking upon the level of the serum interleukin and TNF-? in patients with bronchial asthma. Methods Sixty-five patients with bronchial asthma, grade 3 or 4 as asthma group and 50 healthy examinees as control group were selected.According to the smoking history, each group was divided into the smoking subgroup and the non-smoking subgroup. For each group, the level of cytokines in serum were detected, and at the same time, their smoking history and general condition were collected. The differences between the groups were compared and the relationship of all indexes was analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, the level of IL-2、IL-6、IL-8 and TNF-? of the asthma group was significantly higher(P0.05).The level of IL-2、IL-8 and TNF-? of the smoking asthma subgroup was significantly higher than the smoking control subgroup(P0.05).Conclusion The influence of smoking upon the level of cytokines of asthma patients is significant. The level of IL-8、TNF-? in serum of a smoking asthma patient increases. The level of five cytokines in serum of 65 asthma patients in our research is related to patient's condition severity.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(07):-
Objective In order to find the pollution source and provide some useful references for the controlling of the heavy metal pollution to the tea. Methods From March to April,2007,the soil and tea samples were collected from 10 tea gardens in the main producing areas. The soil samples were digested. The tea samples were dissolved by mix acid solution after being burnt into ashes, then the contents of lead and copper were determined by FAAS. Results There was a significant positive correlation between tea and soil in the lead contents (r lead=0.650 2,P

Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2009;36(14):795-797
Objective:To research the relationship of urinary cytology positive rate with the grade and stage of primary ureter uroepithelium cancer. Methods:A total of 104 cases of primary ureter uroepithelium cancer were recruited in this study. The urine of all paitents was collected for preoperative urinary cytology de-tection.The urinary cytology detection rates were compared among different grades and stages of primary ureter uroepithelium cancer. Results:The overall unnary cytology positive rate of primary ureter uroepithelium cancer was 34.26%.The overall urinary cytology positive rate was 43.59%in the advanced stage group and 11.54%in the low stage group, with a significant difference(X2=8.740, P=0.003).The difference in positive rate between the advanced stage group and the low stage group in the high grade with inferior segment group of primary ureter uroepithelium cancer was statistically significant(X2=10.628,P=0.001).The difference in positive rate between the advanced stage group and the low stage group in the high grade group of primary ureter uroepithelium cancer was statistically significant(X2=5.678,P=0.01 7).The difference in positive rate be-tween the high grade group and the low grade group in low stage group of primary ureter uroepithelium can-cer was statistically significant(X2=12.860,P=0.001).Conclusion:The unnary cytology positive rate of primary ureter uroepithelium cancer of high grade and low stage is higher.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(12):-
Object To study the influence of drought stress on imbibition germination of Glycyrrhiza uralensis seed and the drought resistance of its seedling. Methods To measure the imbibition rate, germination rate, seedling growth, relative tissue moisture content, relative electrical conductivity, SOD enzyme activity under drought stress simulated by PEG-6000. Results The imbibition rate, germination rate, SOD enzyme activity, and seedling growth present rising tendency then following by the decrease, while the relative tissue moisture content and the relative electrical conductivity tend to decrease. Conclusion The appropriate drought stress increases both the G. uralensis seed germination rate and the seedling drought resistance.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(13):-
[Objective] To determine the efficacy of one-stage posterior deformity correction with transpedicular screw system and anterior radical debridement following reconstuction with titanium mesh cage for treatment of lumbar tuberculosis. [Methods]Forty-three patients with lumbar tuberculosis were treated operatively through anterior and posterior combined approach. The postoperative neurologic status (ASIA,2000),graft fusion, deformity correction and complications were observed and analyzed respectively.[Results]Forty-one patients were followed up for a duration of 24~36 months (mean 28.3 months).A solid fusion was achived in all cases. The neurologic function was improved in all patients in different grades. The mean kyphotic angle was corrected by 21.3 degrees, the angle loss was 1?~3?,the mean vertebral height was restored by 10.2 mm,the mean height loss was 2.4 mm.There was no recurrence of the tuberculosis infection.[Conclusion]One-stage posterior deformity correction with transpedicular screw system and anterior radical debridement following reconstuction with titanium mesh cage is a safe and effective method in the surgical management of lumbar tuberculosis.
