RaBA-SUPER constant temperature controlling device has the features of large capacity and extensive usage.In the design of electric circuit and heating structure a different method to the same kind device from abroad was used.Foreign device had divided parallel connection heating structure.But ours had general series heating structure.In this structure the initial heating temperature had little shock,low heating inertia and longer natural constant temperature,and the constant temperature accu- racy of the device was raised.
2.Functional assessment of islet α-cell and β-cell in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus

Based on the result of oral 75 g glucose tolerance test (OGTT),55 pregnant women during the second trimester (gestational age 24-28 weeks) were selected and divided into gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM)group (n =25) and normal glucose tolerance (NGT) group (n =30).Women with GDM were older than those in NGT group.Blood glucose and insulin levels during the OGTT,incremental area under the glucose curve (AUCGLU) and insulin curve (AUCINs) during the OGTT,and basic insulin secretion index (HOMA-β) in the GDM group were higher compared with those in NGT group (P<0.05).However,in GDM group,insulin sensitivity index (ISI-Matsuda),dynamic insulin secretion index(Stumvoll 1-and 2-phase insulin secretion indices),and insulin secretion-sensitivity index (ISSI)were lowered (all P< 0.05),so was AUCINS/AUCGLU (P < 0.01),as compared with those in NGT group.Blood glucagon levels during OGTF and incremental area under the glucagon curve (AUCGL) showed no significant differences between 2 groups (P > 0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that ISI-Matsuda,ISSI,HOMA-β,Stumvoll 1-and 2-phase insulin secretion indices accounted partially for the change of plasma glucose and ISI-Matsuda was the most important one among them.The function of islet α-cell seems to be normal while the function of β-cell is impaired in the patients with GDM,and failure of insulin secretion to overcome insulin resistance is the main reason for GDM.

As a non-coding single-strand small RNA,microRNA (miRNA) plays an important role in post-translational regulation.Its role in tumor formation has become a study hotspot.A large body of studies in dicate that the abnormal expression of miRNA involves in the occurrence and development of liver cancer,which can be used for the diagnosis,therapy and prognosis evaluation of liver cancer.In-depth exploration of the molecular mechanism of miRNA and the relationship between miRNA and liver cancer could provide novel ideas and methods for the therapy and prevention of liver cancer.
4.Umbilical cord blood stem cell transplantation for the treatment of diabetic foot in 11 cases

Totally 11 subjects with diabetic foot have been treated by umbilical cord blood mesenchymal stem cell (UCB-MSC) transplantation from November 2006 to October 2008 at the Chengyang People’s Hospital of Qingdao City. The course of disease was 6-18 years. Following over 6-months drug treatment and/or scaffold implantation, vascular bypass outcomes were bad. Of these patients, there were foot and/or lower limb cooling, pain, intermittent claudication and rest pain in 7 cases, abnormal color in foot skin in 7 cases, foot ulcer in 6 cases, gangrene in 4 cases, and concurrent infection in 2 cases. UCB-MSCs were obtained from healthy pregnant women, and supplied by Beike, Shenzhen, China. Following epidural or lumbar anesthesia, UCB-MSC suspension [cell number (1-6)?1011/L, 0.3-0.5 mL per point] was injected into affected lower extremity through multipoint muscles, with a distance among each point was about 3 cm ? 3 cm. Demixing injection could be performed in regions with plenty of muscles. At 1-4 weeks following transplantation, foot pain in 9 cases got amelioration or easement and cold sensation in 10 cases improved markedly. At 4-16 weeks after transplantation, foot ulcers were better and ulceration area reduced in 4 cases, gangrene area in 2 patients reduced and avoided amputation. 1 limb was amputated but with lowered level of amputation. After 12-24 weeks, 6 patients with intermittent claudication improved obviously, ankle-brachial index (ABI) increased in 3 cases, angiography showed an increase in visible collateral vessels in 3 patients. Transplantation of UCB-MSCs might be a simple, safe and effective method for patients with lower limb ischemia. It can effectively increase blood flow of lower limbs, promote ulcer healing and decrease amputation rate and amputation level.
5.Comparison of ~(99m)Tc-DTPA Dynamic Renal Imaging and Intravenous Pyelography in Assessing Renal Function

Objective To compare the value of 99m Tc-DTPA dynamic renal imaging and intravenous pyelography(IVP) in assessing renal function. Methods The results of 99m Tc-DTPA dynamic renal imaging and IVP in 117 patients with renal diseases confirmed by clinical examinations, abdominal ultrasonography, CT and blood biochemical markers were analysed retrospectively. Results Out of 234 kidneys,101 were clearly visualized by IVP, which were indicated normal renal uptake by 99m Tc-DTPA dynamic renal imaging, and the GFR value was (60.13?16.85)ml/min. 48 kidneys were poorly visualized by IVP, their uptake detected by dynamic renal imaging was between grade 1 to 3, and the GFR value was (23.06?10.61)ml/min. 85 kidneys were not visualized by IVP, 71.8% of which(61/85kidneys) were indicated uptake of radionuclide by dynamic renal imaging with the (20.39?12.54)ml/min GFR value, and uptake of 8 kidneys among the 61 kidneys was normal. 6.Comparison between predilution and postdilution continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) for patients with MODS

Objective To comparie the effects of pre-dilution with post-dilution continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) for patients with MODS. Method Thirty-two MODS patients admitted to ICU (Intensive Care Unit ) were randomized and treated with different modes of CRRT. The results of creatinine clearance, acid-base equilibrium, haemodynamic variables before and post therapy were recorded.The maximal pre-filter pressure, the duration of filter unworn out and mortality of patients treated with different modes of CRRT were also recorded. Results Seventeen patients were treated with pre-dilution mode of CRRT and 15 patients treated with post-dilution mode of CRRT. After 24 hours of pre- and postdilution modes of CRRT, the net increase in Ccr (namely the rate of replacement creatinine clearance) were (15.6±4.6) vs. (22.7 ±4. 1) mL/min respectively (P<0.01); after 48-hour, they were (14.9±3.3)vs. ( 18. 9 ±2. 3) mL/min (p <0. 05) . Both dilution modes could improve the blood PH、 HCO3- and BE( P < 0. 05 ) without significant differences between two groups after CRRT therapy ( P > 0. 05 ) . The MAP of patients treated with pre-dilution modes of CRRT therapy for 24 hours and the MAP of patients before therapy were 69. 2 ± 4. 6 and 56. 7 + 9. 1 mmHg respectively ( P < 0. 05 ), and dosage of dopamine used in patients before CRRT therapy and that after CRRT for 24 hours were ( 11.20 +3.45 ) vs (6. 12 +3.41 ) μg ·kg-1 min -1(P<0.05).The maximal pre-filter pressures of pre-and post-dilution modes were (82.23+9.11) cm H2O, (110.56 +28. 14) cmH2O respectively (P<0.05), and the durations of lasting effect of filter used in two modes of CRRT were ( 39 + 28. 12 ) vs. ( 25 + 14. 45 ) h respectively ( P <0. 05) . Both dilution modes could improve APACHE Scores. There were no significant differences in APACHE Scores and mortalities between two groups after CRRT therapy. Conclusions Post-dilution mode of CRRT has higher filtration rate, but have higher maximal pre-filter pressure and shorter longevity of filter.Pre-dilution mode of CRRT has better effect on improving hemodynamics, reducing usage of vasopressor.Both modes of CRRT can correct acid base equilibrium disorder rapidly. There are no differences in the results of blood gas analysis improved、 APACHE scores and mortality between the two groups.
7.Classification Technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Latent Semantic Analysis

Modernization of theories of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a key issue for the development of Chinese medicine. As TCM concepts are too vague and lack precise definition, it is difficult to test those theories by modern technologies. Methods of TCM classification are not accepted by Western medicine so far. Because of the diversity and complexity of Chinese herbal medicines, the molecules of Chinese herbal medicines are difficult to be separated, and efficacy is difficult to be verified and classified by biological and chemical methods. In order to verify the scientificity of TCM classification, molecular properties can be studied by their spectrum, and be combined with latent semantic analysis technology and weighting method which are widely used in the Internet search engine. 48 Chinese herbal medicines belonging to four kinds of Chinese herbal medicines:nourishing yin, tonifying yang, invigorating qi, and enriching blood, are analyzed through NIRS, and the results are almost the same as the TCM classification.
8.Molecular biology research of recombinant human endostatin targeted therapy of non-small-cell lung cancer

Objective To investigate the relationship between molecular biological markers and recombinant human endostatin targeted therapy in non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods 68 cases patients with non-small-cell lung cancer to meet the requirements were randomly divided into group A (n=34)and group B (n=34).Group A received docetaxel and cisplatin(DP)and gefitinib;group B received recombinant human endostatin on the base of group A.The biological markers species,such as,EGFR,KRAS,VEGF,BRCA1,EML4-ALK,ERCC1,β-tubulin and CD3 were detected by immunohistochemical.The types of population for different programs were summarized according to the expression of biological markers and progression free survival (PFS)of the two groups. Results Group B median PFS was significantly longer than that in group A;no matter low or high expression of VEGF and BRCA1,group B median PFS was significantly longer than that in group A(P<0.05);high expression of ERCC1,KRAS,EML4-ALK andβ-tubulin,group B median PFS was significantly longer than that in group A(P<0.05);low expression of EGFR and CD3,group B median PFS was significantly longer than that in group A (P<0.05 ).Conclusion No matter low or high expression of VEGF and BRCA1 ,low expression of KRAS, ERCC1,EML4-ALK and β-tubulin and high expression of EGFR and CD3 in patients with non-small cell lung cancer may be more sensitive to the treatment of DP and gefitinib combined with recombinant human endostatin.
9.Comparative research of Dryopteris Crassirhizoma Nakai by different kinds of cutting and carbonizing

AIM: To compare the components of crude and processed Dryopteris Crassirhizoma Nakai by different kinds of cutting and carbonizing. METHODS: UV-spectrometry was utilized to analyze the yield and extract content. RESULTS: Dryopteris Crassirhizoma Nakai after being curshed has the maximum in the yield, the total phenol of carbonized products, the water extract and alcohol extract. CONCLUSION: There are significant differences in intrinsic quality among various processed products of Dryopteris Crassirhizoma nakai, among them the crushed one has the highest quality, which conforms to China pharmacopeia 2000 VolⅠ.
10.THE ROLE OF ARGININE IN IMMUNE-ENHANCING EFFECT VIA LIVER AND ITS MECHANISM

Objective: To study if the immune-enhancing effect of Arg was mediated via liver.Methods: The direct effect of Arg on T cell proliferation was measured by 3H-TdR incorporation. Rat hepatocytes were primarily cultured in serum-free DMEM/F12 medium, and then cultured in medium containing Arg(?mol/L:0,7.5,75,750,7 500), and the supernatant was collected at 0, 24, 48, 72 hours, and added to splenocytes culture, and T cell proliferation, NK cell activity and IL-2 activity,〔Ca 2+〕i were measured respectively.Results: Arg had no direct effect on splenocyte proliferation. The hepatocyte culture supernatant significantly increased the lymphocyte〔Ca 2+〕i ,IL-2 activity and T lymphocyte proliferation; 7 500 ?mol/L was most effective. Conclusion: Arg may enhance immune function via secretion of bioactive molecules by hepatocytes.
