2.Factors associated with length of hospitalization in patients admitted with transient acute transverse myelitis
Clinical Medicine of China 2015;31(12):1096-1098
Objective To evaluate the days of hospitalization of acute transverse myelitis and its influencing factors. Methods File's of 158 patients with acute transverse myelitis as the first diagnosis in Feicheng Mining Centre Hospital were analyzed retrospectively.Access to the original medical records through the medical record number, and supplemented information, mainly including demographic data, neurological function defect degree, complications and complications. Results Hospitalization time was 4-41 d, an average of (17±6) d,including 23 patients hospitalized time ≤ 10 d(14.56%), 83 cases were > 10-<20 d(52.53%), 52 cases was≥20 d(32.91%).Age and Neurological score comparative differences are statistically significant (F=60.90,8.68, P<0.05).Payment method, deep vein thrombosis, comparative differences were statistically significant(x2 =20.04, 14.27, 12.17,9.37,7.05;P<0.05).There were ralationship between acute transverse myelitis with age, neurological score, payment (OR =1.140, 0.500,83.930,0.041;P< 0.005).Conclusion The degree of neurologic impairment is the most important influencing factors of acute transverse myelitis.Controlling hospital infection, preventing deep vein thrombosis, strengthening medical insurance management, are the effective ways to shorten the days of hospitalization of acute transverse myelitis.
3.Progress on diagnosis and treatment of TH-gene related dopa-responsive dystonia
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2021;36(7):555-557
Dopa-responsive dystonia(DRD) is a clinical syndrome characterized by childhood dystonia and dramatic and sustained response to low-dose levodopa. The deficiency of any link in dopamine synthesis pathway can lead to DRD that is caused by TH gene mutation and is autosomal recessive, which results in the reduction of tyrosine hydroxylase(TH) synthesis and extensive deficiency of dopamine and catecholamine. However, DRD presents atypical clinical manifestations.Mild patients mainly present with dystonia. Some of them might progressively develop into spastic paraplegia and some may have parkinsonian features. Most of them display good response to levodopa.Severe patients present with progressively complex infantile encephalopathy, and badly response to levodopa and remnant intellectual development problems. Most of them manifest with declining homovanillic acid(HVA) in cerebrospinal fluid. However, due to the noncharacteristic clinical course and nonspecific laboratory tests of TH DRD, gene detection still is the only reliable criterion of diagnosis so far.Low-dose levodopa is effective to most mild patients and can improve symptoms to severe patients to some extent.
4.Application of ultrasonic freestyle extended imaging in different diseases
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(10):-
Objective To study the application of ultrasonic freestyle extended imaging(FEI) in thyroid, breast, artery, vein diseases. Methods Thirty-five patients with above mentioned diseases were examined by FEI and the images were analyzed. Results FEI could entirely show the scan region needed. It also could enhance image quality, show the physiologic radian of the body, measure the nidi accurately. Conclusion The FEI technology provides more image information and is of great help to improve the clinic diagnosis ratios.

Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2017;26(3):181-182,192
Objective To investigate the incidence of leukemia in infants, and to understand the status of this disease in recent years. Methods A total of 5802 children aged median 6 years (0-12 years) with first time bone marrow biopsy from January 2009 to December 2015 were retrospectively analyzed, and the results of bone marrow image analysis were analyzed retrospectively to investigate the incidence of leukemia. Results Of the 5802 cases, 480 (8.27 %) cases were children with leukemia. Among them, 381 (79.38 %) cases were acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), 99 (20.62 %) cases were acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The proportion of children with leukemia with first time marrow puncture was 5.33%(40/750), 4.92%(36/731), 7.06%(58/821), 8.34%(78/935), 10.13%(88/868), 10.89%(92/845), and 10.33%(88/852) from 2009 to 2015, respectively. The proportion of male patients per year was more than female, and the incidence in preschool and school-age children was higher [33.75 % (162/480) and 34.79 % (167/480), respectively]. Conclusion The proportion of children's leukemia in children with the first time bone marrow aspiration in Shanxi Children's Hospital increases year by year, and its risk factors need to be further analyzed.
6.Diagnostic value of ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration in assessment of cervical lymph node in head and neck carcinoma
China Oncology 2017;27(6):421-424
Treatment and the clinical outcome of patients with head and neck cancer are determined by accurate staging and assessment of the cervical lymph nodes for metastases is an important step of this process. Ultrasonography, ultrasonography-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA), CT, MRI and PET/CT are used in the assessment of cervical lymph nodes. Ultrasonography guided FNA is advantageous in ease of application, minimumal invasiveness to patients, and less contraindications. Combined with cell block and molecular biology, FNA can be an effective tool for the diagnosis. The present article reviewed the diagnostic value of ultrasonography guided FNA in cervical lymph node assessment in patients with head and neck cancer.
7.The association of paraoxonase 2 gene 311Cys/Ser polymorphism and type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated by coronary heart disease
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(02):-
AIM: To study the association of the human paraoxonase 2 (PON2) 311Cys/Ser polymorphism genotypes and coronary heart disease (CHD) in type 2 diabetes mellitus (type 2 DM) in Chinese subjects of north area. METHODS: PON2-311 cysteine (C type) / serine (S type) polymorphism was determined using PCR and restriction mapping with DdeⅠ, in 75 elder patients with type 2 DM, 39 with CHD,36 without CHD, and 38 normal elder controls. RESULTS: There was significant difference in frequencies of genotypes between CHD in type 2 DM group and normal control group( P
8.Effect of Astragalus and chemotherapy on the expression of VEGF in NSCLC, MVD and immune function
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(7):96-98
Objective To investigate the effect of Astragalus and chemotherapy on the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC), microvessel density(MVD)and immune function. Methods 92 patients with NSCLC were divided into the study group and the control group, 46 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy and operation, and the study group was treated with astragalus polysaccharide. The expression of VEGF in cancer tissues, MVD and immune function were compared between the two groups. The short-term and long-term curative effect and the incidence of adverse reactions were recorded. Results After treatment, positive rates of VEGF, MVD and blood CD8+ were significantly decreased in two groups (P<0.05), showing study group

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the relation between expression of MMP-9 and RECK in laryngeal carcinoma and it′s clinical characteristics and to explore the biological action of laryngeal tumor. Methods 38 laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC)specimens and normal mucosa were examined for the expression level of MMP-9 and RECK protein by IHC method ( PV9000) and RT-PCR was employed to measure the expression of MMP-9 and RECK mRNA. Ten laryngeal papilloma were used for controls. Results The expression level of MMP-9 protein in carcinoma of larynx was 92.11%,which was significantly higher than that of the adjacent tissues (P
